About the
Eric Scharaga is an expert in creating passive income through investment in secured mortgage loans. After thirteen years spent dealing with the hassles and unpredictability of land-lording, he realized he would never achieve his goal of financial freedom through rental real estate.
Eric gives you a clear and concise approach to mortgage note investing. This book is for the person seeking alternative investments. It’ll help the greenish of newbies get the confidence to move forward with this type investing.
book was straightforward and had a lot of good insight. It served as a good introduction into mortgage loan investing but most importantly, the author is also from the northern Chicago suburbs (woohoo!! Yay Chicago). Would disagree abt his section on bonds being a risky investment (since most ppl municipal bonds when it comes to that which are FDIC insured thus not very risky)
I have read many books on investments. More specifically, many mortgage loan investment books. Most have been very philosophical books. What I like most about this book is the actionable examples given. This book is a real life, how to book. One of the better books on the topic of mortgage investments and I highly recommend.
The information in this book was eye-opening and can be absolutely life-changing if people acted on it. I’ve been studying note investing for 8 years and am finally ready to take action. This book had a quote that served as a reminder of what I already knew. “It’s not what we do that we regret. It’s what we don’t do.” Better late than never!
This book was fantastic. I learned a lot about investing in Liens and other real-estate. The author does a great job at keeping the book going and gives the reader enough facts to make him or her want to learn more. I enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone looking for another avenue to investing in real-estate.
Thank you Eric! This book was very easy to understand and a good introduction. So good I read it twice to grasp everything. You helped me find what exactly I was trying to invest in. Actual Passive income real estate!
