My hot stepbrother. His gorgeous dad. An impossible choice.
With my dad and his wife honeymooning over Christmas, I assume I’ll be celebrating the holidays alone. That is, until my new stepbrother—a sex-god sous chef with a smile that melts panties like butter—invites me to spend the week at his dad’s log-cabin resort.
Thirsting after my much older stepbrother is bad enough. Falling head over heels in lust with his lumberjack dad is just plain greedy.
The only thing these stubborn men can agree on is that they both want me. I can’t imagine saying no to one of them, so I won’t.
When they ask me what I want for Christmas, I’ll be honest.
One man isn’t enough for me. I want them both.
- - - Author’s Note: Cozy up with this forbidden Christmas and New Year’s Eve romance featuring two scorching-hot, dominant alphas—who also happen to be father and son. This steamy read is fast, filthy, and jam packed with age-gap holiday instalove, and a guaranteed HEA for all!
USA Today Bestselling Author Margot Scott writes boundary-pushing forbidden romance that ranges from light and smutty to dark and taboo. When she’s not tethered to a coffee IV, dreaming up wildly inappropriate age-gap relationships, you can find her tucked into a quiet booth at the nearest sushi place.

Well if you want to get your ho ho hoe on this festive season, Sharing Noelle will set the mood. Because in true Christmas fashion, good girls get rewarded. And what's better than plenty of orgasms? Two men to fill you up (however I'm mentally exhausted over all that dick attention required to service two men at one time!)
In my opinion, Sharing Noelle is this authors best work to date. With a lengthier novella, there was time for the story to develop before we got down and dirty. We were given time to wrap our heads around a father and son hooking up with the same girl. This took tag teaming to a new level, yet somehow remaining tasteful...
"There’s a flash of fear, a rush of excitement. Then the heady understanding that all the dirty, secret wishes I’ve been making are about to come true."
You see, Noelle and Sawyer meet when their divorced parents marry. Now technically step siblings, their attraction doesn't blossom until she spends Christmas with Sawyer at his father's homestead. Obviously things get a whole lot interesting when Noelle realises that Papa Colton is a fit hottie. These three have instant chemistry, so how does one choose?
"It was an impossible choice, one I refused to make. Because when it comes down to it, I’m a greedy girl.
I want both of them—on me, around me, inside me—at the same time."
Well don't, because Colton, Sawyer and Noelle choose to rise above society's norm and embrace what they're feeling.
Plainly this was a taboo read that will not appeal to all. I can assure you that although debauched, it was also romantic and not meant to be skeevy, if you can get past the dynamics. I should also mention that this is a mfm romance ~ no incest involved. 🎀
"there has to be something between serial monogamy and total sexual anarchy"
Margot Scott writes short, sweet, smutty romance, and she writes it really well.
This Christmas-themed story has Noelle, our poorly-parented but plucky and likeable heroine falling for a father and son - after the son's estranged mother has just married Noelle's father. It is all a bit outrageous and taboo, but it works and they all come together in an unlikely but enjoyable fantasy that makes for a great holiday read.
4.5 "it's amazing what you can get over when you love someone" stars. Recommended.
Well you know what, for a menagé book, I love the character developments that happened in here. It's not as completely simple as I thought. The issue that the dad and son had with each other was what spiced up what could've been a boring straightforward erotica.
Either that or I was too used to reading mindless smut. Either way, a nice read!
Not gonna lie, it’s a little cringe worthy, mostly because they’re so uncomfortable. Like what a strange coming of age story for this father and son. How I learned to share a woman with my family.
So much for networking, I guess it was better for everyone all around to witness you air all of your dirty laundry. Makes sense ... 🤦🏼♀️
I will say I appreciate that she brought them closer in a father/son non-lover capacity. Communication can go a long way.
I’m not necessarily not a fan of instalove, but when it pushes the boundaries past far-fetched or when I don’t feel the emotions that I call bs. And in this case, it’s both.
It moved ridiculously quick not just for a regular duo but bring into play not only a third person but the dude’s dad and within days everyone is in love and ready to settle down? Yeah ok.
And then the chemistry or should I say lack thereof was blinding. Not only was it uncomfortable, not only was there no heat, there was little to no affection. It all felt rather habitual, like they would feel more changing their clothes.
I will say it was well written otherwise. Like it was interesting enough to keep my attention to the end. But would I recommend it? Probably not.

sexy 'family' affair! 😆 it's a smutty and sexy insta-love ménage novella with delicious Heroes. We are first introduced to Sawyer, Noelle's stepbrother. He's portrayed as a player with commitment issues. We also have Colton, Sawyer's dad, who lives somewhere in the woods. Both Colton and Sawyer are very very attracted to Noelle. So.. the best solution would be to have both, yes?
I loved the character development of these 3 as the story progresses which makes it an even meaningful read. There's quite some sex scenes between Noelle and her men, but there's also some with only Colton or Sawyer.

📚 Book Review: Sharing Noelle (Maple Ridge Christmas)
Author: Margot Scott Genre: Reverse Harem Romance / Holiday Romance
🦸🏼♀️ The Heroine: Noelle
Nineteen-year-old Noelle is in that messy, liminal space between girlhood and adulthood — juggling her first year of college, a demanding job at a high-end restaurant, and the general chaos of being locked out of her dorm over break. She’s exhausted, clinging to the idea of spending Christmas at home, when her father drops a triple bombshell: he eloped in Vegas, he’s selling the house she grew up in, and he’s jetting off to Bermuda for the holidays. Oh, and surprise — she now has a stepbrother. The same guy she recently overheard telling her coworker he doesn’t “do” relationships.
With her mom living in a sex commune and her dad on marriage number four, Noelle’s sense of stability is already shaky. This latest upheaval pushes her from frustrated to furious, and it sets the stage for the emotional vulnerability that follows.
🦸🏻♂️ The Heroes: Sawyer & Colton
Sawyer, twenty-eight, is the classic charming disaster turned semi-reformed chef and complete playboy. Once fired from Noelle’s restaurant for showing up drunk, he’s now an ambitious sous chef trying to get his life together — though his off-hours drinking suggests he’s still a work in progress. Raised by a teenage father and grandparents, Sawyer carries a quiet resentment, convinced his dad blames him for the life he never got to live. Their relationship is strained, and Sawyer avoids the family’s Vermont lodge whenever possible.
Colton, Sawyer’s father, is the opposite: steady, hardworking, and deeply rooted in the lodge he runs. He spends his days maintaining cabins, chopping wood, and prepping Christmas trees — the kind of man who builds a life with his hands. He’d love Sawyer’s help, but he’s long since stopped expecting it.
📚 The Story
When Sawyer learns Noelle has nowhere to go for Christmas, he impulsively invites her to Vermont. He knows she’s off-limits — technically — but he’s already drawn to her, and he’s betting his mother’s marriage to Noelle’s father won’t last anyway.
Colton doesn’t expect Sawyer to show up with a beautiful, stranded college student in tow, but the attraction hits him immediately. Noelle, for her part, feels the pull toward both men. She’s not naïve about alternative relationship structures, and the chemistry between the three of them sparks quickly.
What unfolds is a snowy, intimate holiday escape where each character is forced to confront their own emotional baggage — and the possibility of something unconventional but real.
🌟 Highlights
• The intimate scenes deliver. In ménage or reverse harem romances, the steam can sometimes overwhelm the story, but here it feels balanced. The scenes are undeniably sexy without drowning out the emotional arcs or the plot. • Each character has a personal mountain to climb. Noelle, Sawyer, and Colton all carry their own wounds, insecurities, and unmet needs. Watching them navigate those internal battles adds depth and heart. As Miley Cyrus wisely put it, it’s the climb.
💔 Where It Fell Short
• The age gap dynamic didn’t work for me. I struggle with romances where the heroine is under twenty and the hero is significantly older — especially over forty. At that age, most nineteen-year-olds are still figuring out who they are, and the imbalance in life experience can feel uncomfortable rather than compelling.
💬 Final Thoughts
If you enjoy snowy settings, complicated family dynamics, and a polyamorous romance that blends heat with emotional growth, this story delivers plenty to sink into. The character journeys are engaging, the chemistry is strong, and the holiday backdrop adds a cozy charm — even if the age gap element may not land for every reader.
💭 Quotes
"Does he have a girlfriend?" I have to laugh. "As far as I know, my dad hasn't so much as kissed a woman in years." “How would you know if you hardly ever visit him?” “It’s a well-kept secret that sexual repression leaves a particular stink on a man. One that only other men can pick up on. I doubt he even remembers how to have a good time.”
“It’s exhilarating, like standing at the center of a bullseye. There’s a flash of fear, a rush of excitement. Then the heady understanding that all the dirty, secret wishes I’ve been making are about to come true.”
“Honestly, her openness scares the hell out of me. It’s like a mirror that I can’t bring myself to look at, because if I did, we would both see how closed off I am. The glass would shatter, cutting her face, and she would immediately know I was broken.”
This is a fun, quick, and steamy festive read. It has all of the trappings that I love- especially an age gap, forbidden angle. I loved the beginnings of the story and was excited to see these characters connect and evolve. The steam is great, and I loved all the naughty, I just wish I felt the emotional connection/knew the characters a bit more. We have a bit of angst/drama that was interesting, but overall, it's mostly just sizzling smut- which I enjoyed plenty.
I 💜 these three. Noelle's immediate attraction to Sawyer and Colton is reciprocated and it isn't long before they steam up the place. I love that they are flawed and nervous. They may not fully understand what they've gotten into but they quickly embrace it. Communication is a struggle at points and causes some tears and heartbreak. The end is bittersweet but completely fitting. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I love Margot's Scott work. She can write dirty, hot and delicious AF. Sharing Noelle was a little bit different than her usual. Usually her books are novellas long, but dayummm, they are HOT. Sharing Noelle was longer then her usual, and more complex, more build up. The story was very good, the characters and their development, was very good. I loved how their emotions and feelings were exposed.
Noelle is a young college student. Her parents are divorced. When she was fifteen, her mother left, but didn't abandon her, she became a sort of hippie. She wanted a different kind of life, she had different perceptions of life, she thought different then her husband, who was more conservative and although he was a lawyer, he had some old concepts. So after his wife left, he started to hate women that were expressing their sexuality. He jumped from one marriage to another. Noelle had a sad relationship with her parents. Both of them were busy with them and their personal life.
One night when she was invited to dinner with her father and his newest conquest. On her way to the restaurant, on the alley of the restaurant, she accidentally came accros one of her co-workers who was in a fight with a guy. When she looked at the guy, he stirred something in her. She could not take her eyes from him, and the guy was affected by Noelle too. Sitting at the table with her dad and his newest conquest, Miranda, she meets her new stepbrother, Miranda's son, Sawyer, the guy from the alley. The hot guy was now her stepbrother. At one point she decides she needs a break from her dad and his newest wife, and runs to the bar, but Sawyer joins her. Starting to know each other better, Sawyer invites her to spent Christmas with him and his dad, at his father cabin in the woods. She accepts immediately because she doesn't want to be alone, but most of all, she was very attracted to Sawyer. Only when she arrives at the cabin, she discoveres that Sawyer isn't the only man she is attracted to. She is also attracted by Sawyer's dad, Colton.
If you want to know what will happen, and how, you have to find for yourself, by reading the book. This story was beautiful, hot and good. As I said, I lived how Margot developed her characters, how she touched real subjects, like the relationship between Colton and Sawyer, Sawyer's life style and his insecurities, Colton's loneliness, Noelle's relationship with her dad.
I wanna say something profound and meaningful about this book but the only word that keeps flashing like a neon sign in my head is, classy, and you know what, that’s a damn fine description for this book. Well done, Margot, well fucking done!
Listen, stories such as these, can get real porn on paper (ish) real fast. That's a term I use for sexually driven short stories with very little plot or purpose except to titillate. I'm not not a fan of such stories, but it makes me ridiculously happier when I read that theme with a little more substance, and that's what Margot Scott wrote for us in Sharing Noelle. It's a well written, short, insta-HEA story, with a great storyline, that I can't think of a single person would not enjoy. So go forth a do that :)
I am a huge fan of Margot Scott and I swear she just gets better!!! Her stories are short and sexy, but they are never too short or too sexy to tell the whole story. Meaning - in a book that took about two hours to read, I never felt rushed. Everything happened at an understandable pace. The language and writing style are descriptive, but not overly flowery. It’s a easy read, but the imagery is distinct. These characters are fully fleshed out. There are secondary characters and story lines that make the story easier to understand given its taboo nature.
Now, about the taboo issue. I’ll be honest...beyond the simple fact that these men are related it really didn’t feel taboo to me. I know that sounds a bit nuts, but hear me out. These characters were fully aware of the implications of what was happening and they were completely honest with themselves and each other. The only ‘shaming’ that existed was by the newly married parents. The actual MCs were fully driven by emotions. Even when [******minor spoiler from early on in the book*******] Sawyer got overwhelmed by it at one point. He left the room and allowed himself to truly think things through. Noelle and Colton supported that. [*******minor spoiler over******] You see, they’re cognizant of the implications of their choices and choosing to accept it as beautiful without letting any shame into the situation. Sure, Sawyer calls her ‘little sister’ knowing that it’s taboo, but never thinking it’s shameful. Honestly, I almost missed the taboo aspect at times and felt it could be played up a bit more. But I have mad respect for Ms. Scott for using a taboo and making it beautiful.
The steam factor is lovely, but like Blood and Wine before this, I actual felt like it was not as naughty as her earlier works. I’m thinking that may be on purpose. Particularly considering how many reviewers have mentioned how naughty it is. 😉
Overall, I love Margot Scott’s work and I am unashamed to gush to everyone I know about how much I love her books! I know for a fact that she’s going to become a guaranteed Amazon bestseller.
When I first read the blurb for this story, I was a bit leery but the more I got into it, the more I loved it! It's short and basically instant love between Sawyer and Noelle but when they go to spend Christmas together because his mom and her dad are going on a honeymoon, and Sawyer's dad comes into the story...... I was hooked. I loved the 3 of them together and how it all played out. And I'm just gonna say, his mom and her dad are jerks! LOL The chemistry between the 3 is hot and really good. I need to check out more of this authors works!!
Wow... I wasn’t expecting what I just read! What a surprise! I absolutely loved this book!!! This book is definitely taboo-ish. It’s a M/F/M book. The taboo nature in this book is the men are father and son. Nothing happens between the father and son. But it is a little out there. I mean... they are sharing Noelle.
Noelle and Sawyer met each other the day their parents..(Sawyer’s mom and Noelle’s dad) told them they got married. Noelle was hoping for a nice quiet Christmas at home. Instead her father drops another bomb that he’s selling their home too. And he won’t be around for Christmas. She was super upset by it. But her new stepbrother Sawyer asked if she wanted to spend Christmas with him and his dad.
Colton is Sawyer’s dad. He was running the family business. He runs a log cabin resort. He was hoping one day his son would comeback and help him.
Noelle I felt knew right away what she wanted. She was straight forward. She liked both men. She liked different things about them. And she wanted to explore a different side of herself. Also too... she wasn’t sure how Colton or Sawyer would take it.
I loved how it started off slow. How Colton and Sawyer worked things out that had been bothering them before Noelle. How their relationship changed for the better because of Noelle.
This was a nice steamy little read. I loved how you felt that little bit of forbiddeness between the dad and son. And that there was no jealousy going on. I can’t wait to read the next book by this author!!!

I love the author her books are always fun romantic and hot, but im conflicted by this book i liked it but didnt love it. I felt that the it factor of the book wasnt there and the connections were not solid. Overall left me feeling meh.
I'm glad I decided to brave outside my comfort zone to read this steamy & sweet story. I don't usually like to read about father & son Hs with younger h, but this was a pleasant surprise for me 💖💓💞
3.75 stars Noelle is a college freshman. Her parents are divorced and she's having dinner with her dad and his latest girlfriend when she learns that they're getting married. She also learns that the hot guy she saw outside the restaurant is her soon to be stepbrother, Sawyer. Since her father is going to be vacationing with his fiancé, she has no one to spend Christmas with. Sawyer invites Noelle to his dad's place, where he's going to be spending Christmas. She agrees and they end up going to a cabin in a remote part of New Hampshire, where Sawyer's dad owns a bed and breakfast. When Noelle arrives at the place, Sawyer's father, Colton, instantly peaks her interest. Noelle realizes she's attracted to both Sawyer and Colton. And they both seem to be interested in Noelle.
This was a cute mfm romance overall. I really enjoy Margot Scott and her books are perfect if you're looking for something short and steamy. Colton and Sawyer had a lot of issues to work through, and I didn't think all of them were completely resolved/had enough time spent on. The relationship felt a bit like insta-lust and I wish I had seen a bit more depth to their relationship. But the steamy scenes were great and there were other aspects to the story besides the romance. Colton and Sawyer were not romantically involved and were attracted to Noelle only. One thing I didn't quite like, and this is just my personal preference, but there were actual dates and so in the epilogue, Noelle talked about COVID. For some reason, I just really didn't enjoy that. I wish it had been just something like "one year later" or something more abstract. This is just my preference though. Overall, another solid read.
Soooo we meet again Margot, and just like always you tickle all my fancies. Two over the top hot men one confined space during the holidays. One kiss, two kiss, red fish blow job or whatever they said in that book. Noelle is spending another Christmas alone and unfortunately her good ole’ dad is getting married again. This time he is marrying the same person as him. Someone afraid of commitment, dates all the time and has so many ex husbands that the world has heard her name.
So when Noelle sees her new Stepbrother on an unplanned first meeting their attraction is so instant she is kind of afraid. What happens if they spend a couple hours together eating dinner? What happens for real if they spend the entire holiday together with his dad? Might be a couple of stolen hugs, maybe a steam or two? But what Noelle does not plan is for Sawyer’s dad to be too dang hot to trot.
He rocks her freaking world 🌍 with his strong backed self. Woah woah this made me freaking hip- hip and hooray. The final question is will they let her share them?
Sharing Noelle by Margot Scott was the perfect, delicious, STEAMY, hot number I was hoping it would be!
Noelle is sweet, endearing, and love that she's got some sass and is feisty!
Oh my GIDDY AUNT but Sawyer is a tall glass of water, an oasis in a desert. He's a bit of a player, but he is suave and charming and definitely had me intrigued.
And Colton? HOLY MOLY but that man, well, he ticked all of the boxes with his grumpy and growly manners, and he was a DELICIOUS package that I would gladly eat up!
The CHEMISTRY is off the charts, and I thoroughly enjoyed the squirming, the resisting, the capitulation, and the SHMEKSHAY times because it was steaming up my glasses and had me thirsty for more!
There is tension, animosity, and so much electricity buzzing in this story, I swear I was getting shocks, and I was always hungry for the next zap of connection.
If you're looking for an endearing, heartwarming and STEAMY story, look no further than Sharing Noelle!
Not gonna lie, the shirtless guy caught my attention. Then I read this:
“I thought my new stepbrother was hot. Then I met his lumberjack dad.”
And then I was hooked. I was so intrigued, I was eager to know more about this. The stepbrother thing...yeah, I’m still into it.
And let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised. I devoured this book!
It was Christmassy, the guys were HOT, it was fun, and it was deliciously sexy & filthy A. F.
Even though Noelle is young, she came across as mature. Even though it was insta-love, I still swooned. Even though the guys are father and son, it didn’t bother me. I thought the author did a great job with the writing to not make it awkward. Even though this was a novella, I still thoroughly enjoyed this and was completely satisfied. Pretty sure my Kindle was smoking a few times.
This was my first read by this author. The writing was excellent and it was so easy to get pulled in and keep turning the pages. I look forward to reading more of her work!
If wildly inappropriate HEAs and alternative families are your jam, then this is the book for you. The throuple situation going on was interesting to say the least. Sometimes you have to read cringy romances to appreciate how normal you actually are.
Santa if you're out there, I want a Colton and Sawyer for Christmas! This was exactly the sexy, forbidden, holiday read I needed to pull me out of the book funk I was slowly slipping into. It was such a lovely surprise and I adored everything about this story.
Definitely a must read for those who enjoy a little extra smut for their holidays!
This is a steamy Christmas themed story. Noelle meets her new step brother after her father announces he’s getting married. She is going to have to spend the holidays alone however her new step brother invites her along. So she meets her step brother dad and things heat up from there. Yes this is a forbidden romance but oh how I loved it. Margot Scott always brings the 🔥🔥🔥.
I love that Colton and Sawyer make a connection that they didn’t have before. I also enjoyed that Noelle was the glue to making the relationship work. I totally wish this was longer because I loved this couple.
If you like forbidden, insta love, slightly mountain man vibes, Christmas romance check this out.
