Baktun is over. But did Ana make the right decision?

The streets of Dubai Haven fall under the control of a powerful coalition between the military and the ever-dominant Sol-Corp, forcing Ana to run for her life. Descending into the depths of the Dubai underground, she quickly discovers that nowhere within the Haven is safe, and control of Sol’s fate is in the hands of others.

Leading a small band of survivors out of Dubai, Ana learns the truth behind the Corps propaganda that has kept the people of Earth’s Havens confined under their control for years.

As True-skin weapons begin to tip the balance of control within Sol itself, Ana is driven further away from her former life and into the clutches of people who have already betrayed her. With Realworld and in-Sim spiralling out of control, legendary figures from Sol’s creation emerge. Ana must evade those hunting her and fix Sol to reset the balance.

With few options left to save Sol and subvert the threat of True-skins, is a fight to the death really the answer?

I am a lifetime geek, fantasy & sci-fi nerd. Growing up in middle England, surrounded by my family, a host of adopted animals and foster brothers and sisters, I saw both sides of life from a very young age, and learned that my brand of kooky humour, mixed with my naturally affectionate spirit, could have a healing effect on humans and animals alike. My early life experience form the bedrock of my character writing, allowing me to draw from deeply personal experiences to bring characters to life; this is most evident in the LGBT+ coming of age novel ‘Life After?’.

In the early nineties, I packed up my earthly belongings and headed off to the city of Birmingham to embark on a career in I.T. and programming. Eventually, I made it to the great city of London, planning and delivering multi-million-pound IT programmes. The Heir of G.O’D. series of novels draws deeply on my exposure to the often slightly ridiculous world of corporate machinations.

These days, whilst still managing a large team in the world of the corporates, I enjoy a (slightly) slower pace of life with my amazing partner and two over-exuberant Bengal cats by the coast in South East England, viewing the world with my own particular brand of sardonic irony.

"The fate of 3arth rests at my fingertips, as my father always intended. Either way, whatever decision I make, the world will be in chaos. I just need to make the right choice"

Ana makes her choice however, why haven't things changed. Well, somethings have. For better? For worse? When you're on the run in real life as well as virtual and the boundaries blur, what keeps you grounded.

As the story has progressed I am blown away by the writing(hence 4 stars), but the storyline isn't holding interest all that much. I do love the use of Germanic names and responses though. 4/5

Picking up where Book2 left off, The Heir of G.O.'D. Exodus does not disappoint.
The storyline line is emotionally charged as Ana continues her fight for Sol. The reader swiftly becomes immersed in this fight, sharing the emotions and pain of the characters, especially Ana. Fast paced with barely room for the reader to catch their breath, this book doesn't disappoint.
I'm impatiently waiting for the conclusion of this dramatic series.
Great if exhausting read! I'll need to get into some fitness training for book 4, Harper!

We join Ana immediately after her decision on the future of Sol, and unfortunately for her the decision doesn't mean an end of her challenges.

I love the characters and the world this is set in. The betrayals are starting to get stale, but they still hurt. I just want Ana to be happy and not be hurt anymore.

Waiting anxiously for book 4!
