Secrets, just by the name we readers get this curiosity to know what is it and when it comes to uncovering the secrets and mysteries in the book, I am sure we all crave for it. So it was just 2 weeks back I started reading this book called "Shrill - Realms of Shadowblood". Here's what I would like to share. Starting with the title of the book "Shrill - Realms of Shadowblood". Being a relevant one to the story the title also has the feature that is easy to understand and remember whereas the best one is that after the viewer reads the title for the first time it gives a certain curiosity to read more about it. The cover on the other hand compliments the title and displays a flash which my brain captured instantly so I would say that the outer appearance of the book is really the one which attracts the viewer to buy and read it. Talking about the storyline and the content aspect of the book, The book is a medium read of about 320-330 pages and to have written such a story with such detailed description is something that impressed me. Whereas the aspect of Anthropology has been connected to an amazing fantasy that is, Eric who has given his life to Anthropology, his daughter is inspired and pursues the same. Having given his life, he discovers some really horrifying that could really change everything. The story however explains is in a way that would really interest you at that point of time, personally I was in such a deep mood that I skipped a meal because the inner curiosity of reading the book wasn't letting me escape. Whereas the story progresses and things are in action. Eric's daughter Stacey was dragged into the deep forest where Eric was really confused about who to trust and who to not. The connecting piece and my favorite character from the book that is the Nurse Serena. For me Serena was the binding part of the storyline and trust me the secrets she holds and really worth spending your time in reading the book. The story really intensifies and gave a really nice vibe while reading and I was pretty amazed while reading because I didn't expect the storyline, characters, the writing to be so flawless and smooth. I would like to mention that the reading was really smooth and there were hardly any speed breakers which is the best part. I would like to congratulate the author on this achievement and Also like to thank him for giving me such a memorable experience. This book is highly recommended from my side. Talking about the words and the language used in the book, in terms of difficulty the language used is quite understandable. Whereas the smooth flow I was talking about comes from the narration and the choice of words which is really appreciable and the editing on the other hand was just nicely done. So there's absolutely no point that could hold you back. So what are you guys waiting for go grab your copy fast.

Wow! 🤩 What a fantastic read!!! Troy M Williams has a brilliant way of drawing the reader in. Unique concepts and characters come alive when you read this book which paints a picture with written words. This is not an art that some writers master, especially with a first novel. A must read for those who love a mystery with unexpected twists and turns and a gripping ending which leaves us wanting more. Highly recommended and can’t wait for the next instalment. Thank you Troy! 😍
The author transported me into his world of fairies. aliens and a Sasquatch. I do not read much apart from the occasional Lee Child or Matthew Reilly novel. I could not put this book down until the last page! I have already purchased the 2nd from Troy M Williams and expect it will be next level… if Shrill is anything to go by… years of research and drafting I would imagine. 5 stars and I hope Shrill becomes a cinematic experience one day. Amazingly talented author!
The Xfiles, Men in black and my wildest dreams got all mixed together and made this book! The writing style is very descriptive and thorough. The characters are described in such a way that you feel like you have met them before. I can’t wait to read the next book.
𝑴𝒚 𝑹𝒆𝒗𝒊𝒆𝒘: Shrill penned by the author Troy M Williams is the first installment in the Realms of Shadowblood book series. Eric Kirkpatrick alongwith his twenty-one years old daughter Stacey headed into the dark of the Klamath National Forest of northwestern California. Stacey and Eric have years of camping experience. After reaching their camp site, they slept in the car for the night. While clicking photos of ducks, Stacey entered the woods. After hearing a scream, Eric realizes that his daughter is not around him. Eric entered the woods, he attacked the beast with a rifle but the beast wasn't harmed much. The beast injured Eric and it took Stacey deep into the dark woods. The physical and mental trauma had put Eric in a coma. When Eric woke up from the coma, two government agents Wilkes and Anders asked him about the incident that happened in the Klamath National Forest.
The nurse Serena helped Eric in getting out of the Salem hospital. Serena visited a priest, Father Larsen to ask for help. Father Michael helped Serena in taking care of Eric. Serena told him about the recording that she did about the evil agents. Serena and Eric have to fight the dark forces. Read this book to get to know what's gonna happen further.
