Pretty good book for beginners. Thoughtfully laid out and well presented. There are a couple of points on which the author and I might disagree about process, but they're not significant. It's a shame it wasn't produced more recently as colour photos would enhance it. Nice to see some drawings in there.

I would recommend this book for any beginner or intermediate wax carver. You'll find easy-to-follow tutorials for 11 jewelry projects in wax using different techniques, tools and materials. The black and white photos accompanying each step were helpful and the descriptions were clear and concise.
