Space Rogues #6

War and Peace

Rate this book
Sometimes the jobs are simple, deliver a crate.

Sometimes the crate is full of space bees and Bennie opens it.

Gabe is back from his mission of leading a droid civil rights movement and seems to have been more or less successful.

A new client approaches the crew, escort and protection detail for a summit. That sounds easy, and the pay is good.

Turns out the Galactic Commonwealth is only partly run by the governing council…

Things, as they do, turn sideways and now the Ghost is hiding from a super-advanced warship that shouldn’t exist.

Turns out one of their previous clients is far more evil than they ever imagined, and someone they thought worthless turns out to be a valuable ally. Who doesn’t like learning new things?!

Another action-packed installment of Captain Calder's adventures. This builds on several stories set up in previous books, so it feels like another episode in a TV series that has a larger arc. I don't know what else to say without spoiling anything, but I enjoyed this book and can't wait to read what happens to our heroes next.

Another page Turner

John Wilkes keeps me awake nights turning pages. Once again Wil and the "gang" pull another disaster out of the fire and turn it into fried zerglings. Good job John, Will and crew.

Wil and hang at it again.

Looks like the crew of the Ghost has foiled another Corp from starting another hostile take over of the Community.

Binge re-read the series just before this book!

The dialogue cracks me up. "My tail hurts"...and others. Krebnack?..grolack? Love it!
There is some subtle, modern references that are fun to see.
