Bodywork Tantra on Land and in Water

Rate this book
Bodywork Tantra is the practice of bodywork as meditation. It is a celebration of connection; a 'being' with another as chakras are connected, points held, and meridians stretched in flowing dance-like patterns. Watsu is done floating someone in water. Other forms done clothed on the floor are Co-Centering, which coordinates chakra holding with traditional Zen Shiatsu moves (the author studies in Japan), and Tantsu, which brings Watsu's nuturing and power back up on land as you cradle someone with your whole body. Each is presented in a simple step-by-step basic pattern that, without any previous bodywork experience, you can begin practicing on friends. Each is then expanded to include more detailed pointwork and stretches. Learning and practicing these involve you in a process which brings you in ever deeper touch with others and with your own centers and flows of energy. These sequences and this process have bee developed and fine tuned in countless classes at the author's school at Harbin Hot Springs and in his workshops in Europe.
