The Billionaire's Christmas Baby

Rate this book
A Holiday Single Dad Romance

Julian

I got the surprise of my life one day when I was in the middle of a meeting and a delivery came for me. It wasn’t any ordinary delivery. It was a baby. My baby. The baby I didn’t even know existed. She came with a letter from a woman I’d spent a weekend with over a year ago and hadn’t seen or spoken to since. I had doubted the kid was even mine.

Growing up in foster care my entire life and being bounced from home to home, left its mark on me. I didn’t like kids, and I certainly never planned on having any. I wasn’t fit to be a father and anyone who knew me, knew it. I explored all options, and they weren’t going my way as quickly as I’d hoped. While I was standing in the diaper aisle at Target in total confusion, I met a woman. She was beautiful, and she seemed to like my so-called kid. That was good enough for me, so I hired her. I wasn’t prepared for what came next.

Georgia

I had only been in New York a few hours when I went to Target to pick up some items I needed. I didn’t expect to meet a man and his adorable baby in the diaper aisle as I was passing by. I questioned him as to why he left her alone in the cart. He basically told me to mind my own business. Then he asked me if I knew anything about diapers. I had some experience with children, so I helped him. He offered me a temporary job as a nanny, and I accepted because I needed the money. I had no idea what I was getting myself into until it was too late.

Note to ARC readers:

For the love of god just because you get a book for free doesn’t mean you need to lie and kiss the author’s ass! For once I’d like to read an honest review/opinion of a book from an arc reader.

Ok... so we know or at least I know that this author’s books are a train wreck waiting to happen. This POS asshat is an asshole! Nothing redeemable about him. I’d tell that baby as soon as she can walk with those tiny little legs run away from this ass.
The asshole spent the whole book snapping at everyone and heroine spent the whole book being nice to this dick. When he told her he loved her I was like wait when did he fall in love? Because they only slept once and they kept bickering he wasn’t nice to her and all of the sudden they were in love.

❄️THE BILLIONAIRE’S CHRISTMAS BABY de Sandi Lynn❄️

Mí humilde opinión:

🎄Julian

asuntos.

It was an okish read for me. One time read and a predictable story. Nothing new in the story plot.

DNF. I only made it through chapter 6. The writing was so choppy and stilted. They would be having a conversation but there are no segues in it. Just abrupt changes in topic. He was a complete and utter ass. I disliked him right off the bat. It was just too difficult to read.

Couldn’t Finish

There was nothing to love about this hero. He was mean, detached, and cold. I was at 50% and there was no sign of him changing. He clearly didn’t want to be a dad to this baby. The heroine is a woman he picks up at a Target to come home with him. While she is super sweet with the baby I was finally done when he tells her he doesn’t want to be a dad and he’s putting his daughter up for adoption. She says she’ll take her and if he doesn’t give her the baby she’ll steal her. He says he’ll think about it and she leaves. Maybe the second half turns around but I just didn’t care anymore. This was not the sweet sexy holiday read I hoped I got.

2 -Ummm...

*SPOILER ALERT*

Stunning

Omg what another stunning story from Sandi. The story just pulls on heart stings.

Julian Chamberlain was having a wonderful life until one day his assistant brought him in a baby and said it was his and the she quit. Julian was very angry saying the baby wasn't his and was getting a paternity test done. He doesn't want the baby but has no choice but to take baby Ella.

He needed some supplies for Ella and to the local Target store he left Ella in the shopping cart and a stranger approached her and Ella gave her a big smile. Julian came from behind and asked what she was doing with his baby and Georgia turned to him and asked why he left the baby alone.

Georgia had just moved to the city and was getting a few groceries in Target when she came across a baby left alone. She left the shop and was walking down the street Julian stopped. Her and offered her a lift home. When he see the hostel she was living in he offered her a position as a live in nanny.

Thanksgiving was approaching and Julian made plans with his bestfriend/business partner but Georgia was cooking dinner and he dismissed everything she was doing for him and went out to a bar with Kevin. Kevin called Julian an idiot because of what he did in Georgia.

During the dinner Julian realised how much he was falling for Georgia. The day after thanksgiving Julian got his results of the paternity test and it turns out Ella is his child. A week passed and Julian told Georgia about him growing up in foster homes and she was the same growing up in the system. Georgia had put some Christmas decorations up and Julian blew a fuse and said to take them down. I turned into a big row and Georgia left the house with Ella for the whole day. Some harsh words were exchanged and Georgia left in the middle of the night without saying a word.

It was lovely to see some old characters pop up in the book. This book is worth 10 stars instead of 5 amazing read.

A true Christmas dream...is in your hearts ♥️♥️

Everything smells like Christmas... all around town, the very fragrant live Christmas trees are symbols of our heritage, despite stay-home mandates, Dads and Moms wearing face masks braving freezing temperatures grabbing a last minute Christmas 🎄 tree fulfilling a family tradition!!!
There’s a lot of difference in the lives of our leading characters in this book...nevertheless, Georgia has promised herself that a Christmas in New York will be her life’s dreams fulfilled this year of all years in her life! However, on the other side of the city, Julian hates Christmas, and never, never wanted to do anything about it. Both Georgia and Julian has their respective individual reasons! Incidentally both grew up in foster homes where circumstances hasn’t been memorable, marring their outlook in life!
In all this intertwined situations, a child became a glue that would bind Julian and Georgia! Unknown to Julian he fathered a child who turned out to be a lovable six month old Ella Rae! Julian didn’t want the child, but after a chance meeting with Georgia who became the nanny, love blossomed between all three of them 💕♥️
An excellent love story for everyone to enjoy at this time of the pandemic... be it as it may, we still fantasize a romantic book, no matter what!!!

Should have gotten to this sooner!

Loved this book! Excellent story and character development! It didn’t end too quickly before plot lines were completed- thank you Sandi Lynn.

This is really a good read if you believe in human nature and love, and without spoiling it a good ending without ... wait for it... 12 months later! Yes a complete ending!

The writer did an excellent job researching the story line after she wrote such a wonderful meet cute! Though our hero was a schmuck in the beginning, it is quickly explained and he lets memories out and his true self is pretty terrific, and still full with emotion! His story includes his best friend and how they overcame their childhoods to become very successful - it in the title so no secret!

Our caring heroine is searching, and she stumbles into a temporary position as a nanny. There’s one time a year she finds happiness and it’s the Christmas season, which is why she ended up in New York.

There is a spicy romance but it does not overtake the story it speaks to our humanity and the need to be with another human. Well written.

Christmas in New York reads as beautiful as it is! I will reread this one next holiday too! Enjoy.

Stay safe during this pandemic and wrap yourself with a very enjoyable book!

An Ella Christmas Miracle😄💕

Wow what a heartwarming and living Christmas story?! Baby Ella was such a sweet little baby, and when she said Da-da for the very first time, just melted my heart. And Georgia was truly a God send to Julian Cambridge/Chamberlain, I was so confused with his name. Because at on several occasions Georgia was calling him Mr. Chamberlain, and the next Mr. Cambridge. I thought I was reading about someone totally different than Julian Cambridge. Such blatant grammatical errors should not have happened. Because it throws you off kilter when you are already deep into the story. With that being saud, back to Georgia! She was amazing with Ella, inside Target, while Julian, was not being very nice. But I 'm glad he came out of his funk. I could sympathize with both him and Georgia, and even Julian's best friend and partner Kevin, frowning up in foster care. I understand their reluctance when meeting someone new. I hope Kevin would have gotten his own story. I think this story should continue. I want to see Ella all grown up😁

Julian and Georgia

Julian is in the shock of his life. Alpha grumpy man that hates the Holidays soon finds a message being delivered to his office..with that message, a baby, claiming the 6 month old is his. He is in hard core denial.

Georgia just made it to New York and as she is shopping at Target, she finds a baby in the aisle. As she gets closer, obviously wondering who she belongs to, Julian, in a panic, shows up not having a clue what this child needs. Georgia, feeling somewhat sorry for him, helps him out and he hires her on the spot to be the nanny.

But it isn’t that simple, and as the days pass, their attraction grows but they both have some deep routed issues to contend with, one being Julian doesn’t want a child. But Georgia is determined to prove to him that he does.

Such a cute Holiday story. Despite the two and their issues, love watching Julian care for and protect his child. Then once that wall came down, he was open to love. Very good read.

Living Life

Georgia Beckham is a drifter, never finding a real home after her childhood of foster care, bad breaks and abandonment. When she helps out new ( and unexpected) Dad, Julian she is not prepared that she immediately connects with both him and his daughter Ella. Julian Cambridge is a CEO and rich. But he is not prepared, nor does he want to be, a father. But when Ella is foisted on him by her mom, a one-year night stand that ended poorly, he must start to find what's really good in his world. He's also a product of the foster care system. He and Georgia have much in common, particularly a lot of chemistry, and also a growing love for Ella. The foibles of becoming a parent, learning to enjoy life and trusting another person becomes a remarkable experience for both our protagonists. This is a lovely, endearing novella that is perfect for Christmas.

Ella's First Christmas

Georgia Louise Beckham moves to New York City to experience a real Christmas. She runs into Julian Cambridge in Target when she sees an unattended baby. Julian had just had baby Ella's dumped in him by the mother. He didn't know he had a child and no clue how to take care of Ella. Julian is grumpalicious, TDH, sexy, and has "a lot of pent up anger." Georgia is beautiful, sexy, and stands up to Julian. He asks Georgia to be Ella's nanny and they discover that both of them grew up in the Foster Care system. They both had emotional issues that created scars. They eventually face their fears, fall in love, and create a stable home for Ella. Sandi is a good romance writer and deserves five stars.

This was a cute quick story. Julian and Georgia have a very similar past and both have walls of protection up. Little did they know they would bring each others walls down. I loved how Elijah & Aspen were involved in this. The only thing I didn't care for was the end when Natalie came back into the picture and the answer was to pay her off. I didn't think that was how it should have gone because the rich answer is always pay them off. I also didn't get the
"promise ring" that is too old fashion but all in all is was a cute book

I'm not sure what's going on with this author's writings these days, but it's become unexciting. She was one the very first author's I read when I started romance novels as a young adult and I absolutely loved her stories. I loved the Black series. This one was just boorrrring. The dialogue was unbearable between H/h. I couldn't even finish. If you're going to write a story that's been written a million times then make the characters more interesting OR something, anything to make it memorable. Maybe I've just grown up and am moving on from Sandi.

Ok so I've read all 47 (I think it is) of yr books but I have to say this was my least fave, obviously this billionaire had his own life going on and he was a little arrogant to say the least. Normally we get into the characters and feel when they starting to thaw and get drawn into an exciting love story, I felt this book was just slightly rushed and just jumped from one part to the next without the usual story telling and feeling that you no the characters. I liked the concept of the story but just felt rushed, (sorry Sandi) but I'm now going to read yr next book !!x

I can't be the father!

Julian's secretary tells him he has a package. When she walks in with a car seat with a baby girl and a letter from her mother he is shock. He thinks a joke. He goes to Target to get supplies for Ella.
Georgia seems the baby abandoned in the aisle. She is holding Ella when Julian returns and tells her to but his baby down. When he notices how well she is with Ella's he offers her a job as her Nanny. Well written story with strong and believable characters.

Sandi Lynn does it again with this must read Holiday romance

A baby is left at Julian's office with a note that he's her father. He doesn't believe it and doesn't want anything to do with her. He meets Georgia at Target when he goes to get diapers for the baby. He hires Georgia as a temporary nanny. He soon finds he has fallen in love with the baby and needs Georgia to take care of the baby. This is a great easy to read Holiday love story. Sandi Lynn never disappoints.

Okay

I am a big fan of Sandi’s and I have practically devoured her entire library. For me, this one was just okay. I loved Julian even though he was a total jerk! I anticipated his change but I happened too quickly and felt rushed. I think the book needed more pages because I love the troupe and the characters were so delightful but it jumped too fast and the story lost credibility.

A Great Holiday Romance

I am a sucker for single dad stories. Add in that it was a surprise and I couldn't wait to read it. When Julian is desperate and meets Georgia in the diaper aisle at Target, I was enthralled. That his best friend found a girlfriend in the toilet paper aisle at Target later in the story, I was laughing. A great story of overcoming where you came from and knowing that we are all alike underneath it all.

Another great book

Another great story from Sandi Lynn. I love the story she writes especially how she pulls characters from her other books. It’s always nice to get a glimpse of characters from her past book. The story between Julian and Georgia was a cute one, especially how they met. I loved how he feel in love with her, very sweet. It’s sad how this one was a bit short. Can’t wait for her next one.

The male lead wasn't very likeable with all his rudeness and anger issues and I think the novel was very fast-paced compared to their other works because we went to bickering and cursing to "I love you" in a click.
Still I found the story okay...a girl trying to belong and a guy who has been through that and helps her settle. I think if the novel had been a little longer with more chapters about the actual relationship between the main characters, it would have been better.

Stop Running

Julian pissed me off from the start of the book to almost the end of the book when he finally redeemed himself. Baby Ella was adorable and loved how protective and loving Georgia became of Ella and that Julian became even more protective and loving of her, too.

This was a cute little story. I always enjoy this authors books, and I can't wait for the next book in the Kind Series.

A cute story of each one finding themselves and each other. Julian has been left with a baby that he says is not his. And Georgia is in NYC to enjoy Christmas in the city. She runs into Julian in Target buying diapers for baby Ella. She becomes Ella’s nanny and Julian and her have found something they have in common. They each have lived in the foster care system. This was a nice short, sweet Christmas read.
