Bronagh might be walking a tightrope between sanity and reason, but she's happy where she is, spending one day of the month with the perfect Scottish Highlander--until a flesh and blood Scotsman scares him away. But she's not interested in a real man. She wants her muse back.
Wyndham the Ghost has already done the impossible by winning the heart of the woman he loves. And now that he's mortal again, all he needs to do is present himself and let the happily-ever-aftering begin. But his sweet Irish lass is too devoted to his spirit and won't give the real Wyn a chance.
So what's a man to do when the truth might push his beloved off the deep end?
Kudos to the authors in this series. The story lines are very creative and Wyndham is now one of my favorites. The journey to find true love, not think ourselves crazy when things seem insane and discovering someone may be more than we thought are timeless and universal struggles to which we can all relate. Add a hunk of a Highlander in the mix and you created a very enjoyable tale. Well done!
This one was difficult to get through. The alleged Irish female keeps saying Yeah? Through the entire book. Sorry but I have heard quite a few Irish people speak from different counties and not a one said Yeah? Anytime. If she is Irish why does her Grandmother have a house in Inverness? It would have been a good story otherwise.

I have skipped around a bit in this series, but I have read about half of them. This is my favorite so far. If this is the first you have considered, go back to number one to get the Gathering or you will not understand everything. I have loved each one.
Fun story without the usual lulls! A Scot to the core! Thanks for this enchanting series of tales! I highly recommend this book and all the Ghost of Culloden books!eries
Fun story without the usual lulls! I'm a Scot to the core! Thanks for sharing this enchanting series of tales!
I love the quirkyness of the character and how she's OCD! Then there's the fact that Wyndham doesn't care and loves her for what she is. What a wonderful story.
I so enjoyed this tale. I was wondering how these new lives would move on. I'm still wondering how these storylines will fit in with the "ghosts", if at all? Will it make a difference? Yes, it will. I believe this will change the dynamics dramatically and not be as interesting unfortunately. It will seem very odd without Soni continually there in the forefront. As I said early on, I did enjoy this tale along with the characters and the plot. I will continue to read these stories as I'm not a quitter in the middle of a series. Looking forward to the next.
Merged review:
Good read. Still not use to these ghosts in their present incarnation. I do so miss Soni. I like this read well enough. Like the characters and the plot. Looking forward to seeing where this series goes.
This is a great story. Some of the slang didn't show the definition, so I wasn't sure if it was cursing or not. But Bronagh is an accountant with OCD. She doesn't like change. She had been coming to Cullodin on the first of the month since August, it was now March. Her muse which she thought was in her mind because she couldn't touch him or feel his breath, was waiting for her in the visitor's cafe. The events that came next were astounding.
Once again, L.L. Muir has written a wonderful story! I have read all of the Ghost stories and enjoyed every one of them. Wyndham doesn't disappoint. I hated putting it down!
Thank you, Leslie for a wonderful story and for once again giving me a respite from everyday life as well as the chance to "see" another Ghosts find his happily ever after!
Thank you for continuing the series. I am grateful to you and your fellow authors for providing such grand stories to surround ourselves in. Thank you again and for those who have not read any of our ghosties stories please start with the Gathering
This is one of my favourites so far. I loved Wyndham & Bronagh, and their story. A lovely, heart-warming, happy read. What more can I say....apart from ‘read it’.
I really wanted to like this book more than I did. However, the way Bronagh turned the majority of her statements into questions ending with “yeah?” was insanely annoying.
