About the author

AC Arthur has worked as a paralegal in every field of law since high school, but her first love is and will always be writing romance. She’s written and won awards for her acclaimed Donovans and Shadow Shifters contemporary and paranormal romance series. Under her pen name, Lacey Baker, she created the quaint small town of Sweetland and wrote the novelization for the Original Hallmark Channel Movie, A Gingerbread Romance.

After years of hosting reader appreciation events, AC created the One Love Reunion, an event designed to bring readers and authors together to celebrate their love of books.

I enjoyed the this short novella in the New Year Bae-Solutions series. 3.5 Stars

Six More Minutes focuses on developing romance between Myles and Gemma. Previous to this book the two agreed upon a friends with benefits relationship and would meet to spend time together and have sex. When they meet right before the new year, Gemma decides that she wants more from Myles. I was hesistant at first because Gemma was going back on an agreement that they made; however, I respected her for being okay with Miles' decision. The biggest issue I had with this novella is that it's based on a couple that makes an appearance in another one of Arthur's books. While I usually don't have a problem with this, this was written in a way that felt like it required readers to have some backstory. It felt as though we were jumping into the second book of a series. I enjoyed the story, but I couldn't connect with the characters as much as I wanted to because I felt as though I didn't know them. I did end up getting the first book by A.C. Arthur related to the Donovan family so maybe I'll have a better understanding then.

Good novella.

This short story was good but not long enough. It appears Gemma brought something to Myles life that was missing and in the end they were together. I would have enjoyed it more if it was longer.

This was an extremely quick read once I actually got started. I didn’t necessarily connect to any of these customers as their backstories, which I assume are a part of another series, weren’t really outlined. I felt as if I would have liked this a little more if I would have read the others in the series. With that being said, Six More Minutes was short, sexy and enjoyable!

If Myles Donovan and Gemma Taylor’s names sound familiar, it is because both of them appeared in a novella, ONE CHRISTMAS SONG written by the incomparable AC Arthur. Well, a year has passed since their first encounter, and Myles and Gemma are bringing in the new year together in this delightful quick read. I love it when an author revisits her characters. It’s like meeting old friends and learning what they have been up to. When the story opens, Myles and Taylor have planned a rendezvous in Temptation, Virginia at Myles’ cabin. After a steamy and sexy greeting that begins at the door, and ends in the bedroom, the couple come to an agreement that it was a wonderful six minutes of loving. Now, that’s an opening scene!

SIX MORE MINUTES is an entertaining and engaging read. AC Arthur is a master storyteller, and I enjoyed Myles and Gemma’s story. It’s a worthy addition to the New Year Bae Solutions series, and I recommend it. Happy reading!

HOTT!!

Synopsis: Gemma and Myles have been fooling around with no strings for a year now. The traveling every couple of months to see each other, short text, and short phone conversations isnt enough for
Gemma anymore but does Myles want more?

Gemma and Myles were hot and I really liked their story of casual sex evolving into more. This was definitely relatable and didn’t seem like a cliche love story. The only issue for me is I felt I was missing a lot of the backstory. Maybe their storyline will make more sense to me going back and reading A.C. Arthur previous books. Since this was my first A.C. Arthur read I was confused a little as the backstories didn’t provide a lot of info but I am thinking previous books will. Otherwise this was a hot New Year read.

Great read!!!

Gemma and Miles would steal trips away to be with each other, but Gemma wanted more and was willing to walk away to get it. Miles knew he wanted Gemma but commiting wasn't something he wasn't ready for. Was Miles willing to let Gemma go, or make this forever. I loved the story of Miles and Gemma, both had terrible relationships but when they got together everything seemed right. This was a great introduction book to this author for me and I will be reading more from her!!!

Six More Minutes To A Lifetime!! 😍

I enjoyed this story about Gemma and Myles! I love the stories of The Donovans and The Taylor’s of Temptation!! Love wants what the heart wants. Gemma wanted Myles but was ready to let him go for what she felt she needed and deserved!

This was an excellent short story but full on content! I thoroughly enjoyed this book and highly recommend it! Kudos, A.C. 💜

I love when authors do series crossovers! This is sexy New Year short did exactly with 2 of my favorite families from AC!!! She did such a great job with this short story I hoping to see more of Gemma and Myles and hopefully they’ll settle in Temptation. This was an excellent end of Arthur’s releases for 2020.

Six Minutes Isn't Enough

Myles Donovan and Gemma Taylor are in Temptation, VA for a quick get together. I love it when people from my favorite book series get together. I loved every moment. For Gemma, this could be their last because she wants what Myles isn't ready to give. Will six minutes be all she has?

Not long enough! Although I met Gemma in One Christmas Song, my questions, about her, are still unanswered. Gemma came to Cordy's rescue when Cordy filmed her video at Rick's hotel. So you get a small glimpse, of what a kind, and generous person Gemma is. However, she needed to be a bit more developed, so I could determine why Myles wasn't falling head over heels, into a relationship with her.

It was ok

This was a novella but it ended at 67%. Now that's really short. The book was just ok because most of the relationship happened in the past with the couple either discussing or remembering parts of it so we got the back story. Interesting approach that would have been Mich worse if this was a full length book.

Even if they spent 660 minutes together it would not be enough. The love connection between Gemma and Myles was so elastic and deeply entrancing. I liked the chance for a revisit to get more of their story after their Christmas rendezvous. A little more is welcomed.
