Time for book 2!!! We got a small hint of Cookie and Frost in the Thanksgiving book now its there turn.
Frost has been wanting Cookie since he first saw her and he makes no problems showing her that he wants her. From flirty moves to one on one in the bathroom. ;) heck he's one dirty s.o.b. there moments are very sexual tension because Cookie already had her heart broken and she doesn't think she can do it again.
But that isn't there biggest problem seems like Frost evil mother isn't done. This causes alittle trouble for Frost and Cookie. But it doeant stop Frost from wanting his woman.
Ow/om drama, no cheating, Drama, slight secondary character, sexy times, virgin gal and no manwhore

Frost no planeaba enamorarse de su cuñada, pero una mirada y estaba acabado. Ahora todo lo que tiene que hacer es convencerla de que es el indicado... antes de que sea demasiado tarde.✨🎄✨
Mí humilde opinión:
❄️No soy muy fan de Alexa Riley pero me gustó la portada y el argumento de este librito y bueno, tenía temática navideña así que me dio ganas de leerlo.
Me gusta un buen insta-love. Puedo con algo de cursilería y exageración pero este cuento navideño, si es que se puede llamar así, fue más allá de lo que esperaba... No podía creer lo que estaba pasando mientras leía. Una locura exagerada de acontecimientos uno detrás del otro.
Frost el ruso, que para demostrarlo solo decía Nyet y Da más la palabra de cariño para Cookie, que no recuerdo ahora mismo, 'gatita' en ruso... era un tipo pesado y hasta acosador serial! Su costumbre de seguir a Cookie y meterse en el baño sin llamar era desubicada. Para confirmar eso, hay una escena de las veces que la sorprende en el baño cuando ella se está lavando las manos y hay un tampón que acababa de tirar, hay descripción de este lo juro, acto seguido como si nada él la masturba! La parte del periodo me dejó sin palabras.
Amo al héroe que lucha por la mujer que ama todo hombre de las cavernas etc pero Frost se fue a lo extremo de lo extremo. La manera en que persigue o trata a Cookie no fue sexy para nada.
Cookie no me agradó mucho tampoco, era como mala onda e indecisa en lo referente a Frost, le gustaba pero cuando lo tenía cerca lo alejaba.
El librito no fue malo, disfruté del comienzo pero luego se vuelve ridículo.
El drama con los malvados padres Frost secuestrando de la nada a Cookie, la tipa rica con quién querían que se case él por prestigio y dinero y Nathan el ex de Cookie incluidos en el plan malvado, fue demasiado para mí.

I really liked reading about Frost and Cookie and seeing Pumpkin and Miller again !!
I needed a cuter/cheesier epilogue .. so I'm off to another Alexa Riley book hoping for some tooth-rotting story.. .

It’s been quite a bit since I’ve read an Alexa Riley book. I do so many re-reads of their older books. I miss them on KU! That being said this was a good Christmas story. I love the Russian hero, Frost. That domineering attitude mixed in with that broody, icy presence.... makes me swoony!
-no cheating
-om drama - heroine’s ex popped up to create drama
-ow drama - this is what brought my rating down. The same skanky chick who caused drama in the first book emerged on the scene with the hero’s evil mother. She needed to keep her hands to herself. This is what brought my rating down
-no violence of a sexual nature although there is a verbal threat
-dual virgins
-epilogue 12 years later
-no cheating

The 2nd sister hooks up with the other Russian brother in this cheesefest. Their mother is as crazy as ever as she once again enlists Chel to marry to Frost. To ensure Frost complies she kidnaps Cookie, aiding her is Chel and Cookie's ex Nathan. Of course Frost works with his brother to bring Cookie back to him and her family.

This wasn't terrible actually but as usual they just went a little too OTT for me. Frost was possessive of little Cookie but him basically breaking into the bathrooms dragged a little into the uncomfortable side of psycho town for me. Everything just always has to be so EXTRA in these books lol

La mejor palabra para describir esta novela es ridicula. La trama parece mas la de una telenovela que de un supuesto romance rapido, literalmente no hay ni una sola escena verosimil y creible, todo esta llevado a un punto tan exagerado que solo produce risa.
En fin, de lo mas flojo de las autoras, no me gusto nada. Ni la trama, ni los personajes, lo unico que hizo que no lo dejara sin terminar fue que tiene pocas hojas.

I had high expectations for this and I was curious about it because Frost caught my Attention in the 1st book he was grumpy and I love grumpy H's cookie was so cautious but the best sister I was so curious to know how they will get together, but .... it was just ok plain ok I wanted more, and what the hell is going on with the epilogues!? AR used to write the BEST cheesy epilogues, I want those epilogues back

I read this for a palate cleanser but wtf are these names? Cookie, Pumpkin and Frost??? Mind you these are the characters' names... I would've started a riot if my parents named me Cookie. Not only that, but this kind of lacks AR's usual spark.

Really liked this follow up to His Pumpkin Pie. It was sweet with a determined hero that would stop at nothing to get his woman. Add a little suspense in and some Russian and I was all in.
Also I know a lot of people aren’t into it but I liked how interested he was in her period. There was no actual play while she was on it but he made it clean that didn’t bother him and I was here for it.

OMG...this is Frost and Cookie’s book, the twin brother and sister from the His Pumpkin Pie couple. So twin brothers dating/marrying sisters. Still freaking love the names, because I’m all quirky like that.
These two meet in His Pumpkin Pie, where Frost has been trying to give her time, and oh yeah, he’s about as subtle as a Mack truck about wanting her.
Loved this storyline, they have more family stuff from Frost’s mom, and there were quite a few wth moments, which I loved. Safe read. Baby batter, a sweet epilogue and a hea.

Okay....This one made me a bit frustrated. I understand, that Cookie was kinda hurt by ex and I said kinda, because she didn't care for him in anyway, that you should care about a person you date, but damn I was done with her continuing running away from Frost. The h is patient. Or obsessive. Or both.
The villains... I was torn between irritation and laugh, because really? How delusional can you be? I can't even. Thanks to heaven, Frost didn't acted stupid. Though, I have to say I wasn't completely happy with how villains ended. It was... Too calm, if that makes sense.

Does anyone here know what happened to the old AR coz i miss her so much. This new AR is like the exact opposite of old AR😓😓. Now the only option is to binge read her old books. So disappointed with this and her new books coz they are full of drama without hot scenes and smut. Thus the new books are dry as hell. 😑

Good book. I liked this book. It was a cute fast read. The MCs were likeable and I love a cold hero that is super sweet to the h. And her family. Great Christmas read. The steam was detailed and hot but nothing adventurous. 3/5. I liked both pumpkin and cookies books. I think I like Frost (H) more than Miller (H) from pumpkins book. But both really good. Hot Russians, uhh yea.

This insta-love story tells the story of Frost and Cookie. Though this is a standalone, this couple's story starts in Alexa Riley's His Pumpkin Pie (which is the story of Frost's twin, Miller, and Cookie's sister, Pumpkin.)
Though Cookie wants what her sister has, she's not willing to put herself out there. She was hurt badly and has built walls around her feelings. Frost also wasn't looking for love, but once he laid eyes on Cookie, he was a goner. Now he just has to make her see that he's the one for her. Toss in some drama from Frost's maniacal mama...
Though both books are insta-loves and fluffy as all get out, I liked this story a bit better than the last -- 3.5 stars for this; 3 for the other. Cookie and Frost really do have a lovey, sweet story.
You can't go wrong with either story. They're standalone stories, but should really be read in order -- His Pumkin Pie then His Christmas Cookie.

This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. This story is Cookie and Frost’s story who we met in ‘’his pumpkin pie’’ Cookie is pumpkin’s sister and Frost is the twin brother of Miller. After being burnt by love, Cookie has no interest in finding it again. Frost has wanted Cookie since he first met her but will she ever give him a chance?
The chemistry between Cookie and Frost is clear to see and I liked them together. I thought they made a really cute couple.
I really disliked Frost’s mother, Chels and Nathan. I was glad that got what they deserved.
