My love for writing began several years ago after an early retirement from a demanding job that I loved and hated because it consumed so much of my time. Now, I can focus my time on what I love. Writing romance has been a lifelong dream and to actually say that I am a published author is beyond what I would have ever expected.
Even though some may say I have a little naughtiness in my books, I look at it as an added bonus for my readers. After all, what is a romance book without a little spice?
When I am not writing, I enjoy spending time with friends either at home or out on the town. Mostly, I enjoy a relaxing night at home where I can enjoy a glass of wine in the company of a good book.
Out of everything, she enjoys driving in her little convertible with the top down.
Repeat after me: It's fiction, suspend all belief. Ok, I didn't read the first book so I'm just going to assume Cop and Brie already knew each other. And the hero not only has such a poor security system in place that he has no clue that hidden cameras have been installed in every room, and there's no mention of looking for them and removing them once they get back home? Not to mention the fact that Sean managed to walk right in completely undetected not once, but at least twice! But the BIG question is: what happened to the cat? Last we knew Sean was holding him and poor Oliver was never mentioned again. Sad that I care more about the cat than the people.
I did my best to get through this book but I just couldn’t. I gave up 75% of the was through when the characters still felt 2 dimensional. The plot felt disjointed while the characters were caricatures of “abused sexy girl” and “rugged military man.”
Any truly interesting opportunities for dialogue were glossed over. Just a painful slog of a read.
I was really looking forward to this story after reading the blurb. But I really tried to get into it. after 5 chapters I just couldn't as the story had only progressed a few hours. The author tells us every move that is made in the h's day. skipped ahead to where she met the H and it still didn't move any faster. I just couldn't finish the story.
Better than the first book in the series. The action and suspense in this book was good. I do enjoy a sexy book but I thought there was almost too many sex scenes (especially when both parties are seriously hurt) to the point that the book felt longer than it need to be.
This was a cute quick read about Cop and Brie. At times, I found the dialogue to be juvenile but the storyline was good and the characters well developed.
Long is a talented writer who stimulates your imagination. From the brave young woman who is braver and stronger than she knows to the alpha male who wants to protect her.
Cop has a heck of a time keeping tabs on Brie. She keeps ending up in the wrong hands. There's lots of suspense and danger. This is an action-packed book. I'm thoroughly enjoying this series.
Another hot read by A.L. Long! Cop is a sexy alpha man who is in love with Sabrina. Sabrina is a little scared of love because of what she has been througn in her past. Cop pulls her out of her shell. They go through many things together because of her past coming to heads with her present, but come out strong. Loved this book! I can't wait for Hawk's story!

Not only a love story, but a story of survival, hope, and what a possitive force love can be. 5 stars.
This was a story with a lot of things going on. The sex scenes are explicit so if that isn't to your taste, be warned. The woman in the story has a history of abuse and she starts off unable to have sex with the man she's attracted to but she gets over it fairly quickly. The last couple chapters felt like they were written by a different person but it ended happily.
This book had good characters, a good plot, and is well written, but had too much erotica for my reading enjoyment. Just not my kind of book. I did appreciate that it was a HEA book.
This book is amazing. It was a very well written book, I loved how well the characters are developed. I loved that I was drawn into the story and I can't wait to read more books by A.L. Long.
What a good book, it had me on the edge of my seat. Sabrina was getting on my nerves alittle, but finally finding out what happened to her. It did however had me on a spin and confused. Love Cop and how he was towards Sabrina. But overall it was a good book.
