Rebel by Helen Hardt - I kinda enjoyed this one. It was slow and sweet and hot and a bit boring, but nice. Annoying heroine, annoying hero, but the underlying mysterious plot about the murdered dad intrigued me.
Twist Me by Anna Zaires - DNF - with that heroine, I just couldn't
Mine by Natasha Knight & A. Zavarelli - DNF - I don't really know why this one wasn't working for me. It just wasn't.
Ruthless Surrender by Zoe Blake - 3 stars - I thought it was a hilarious story about a mercenary who loses his shit over a girl who thinks she's tougher than she is. It was hot and it was messy and it was entertaining and that's pretty much all I can ask for.
The Mistwalker by Regine Abel - DNF - this story had a lot of potential, but I felt it was overcomplicated and what could have been beautiful was coming across as boring.
Darkest King by Amelia Hutchins - DNF - I don't think this author is for me. Everything I've tried doesn't work for me so I think I'll stop trying.
And then I gave up reading

dark themed stories. do not read if its not your cup of tea
Born to be bound – Addison cain
Pure heartache. Incredible story.. Worth more than 5 stars, this story completely captured my heart and broke just as hers did near the ending. I'm still reeling from the end but this book was absolutely gripping. Thrilling, hot, heart wrenching near the end, and just makes you want to scream from the robotic fierce alpha and the emotional needs from the omega. I think I really love this author. I've only read Sigil from this author but reading this story really shows how incredible Addison Cain is with her suspenseful creative writing pieces and how both stories broke my heart.

loved this! ive read many omegaverse storyline but not often will it contain an absolute fighter of an omega female. fighting against her instinct and what she was bred to do, she does everything she can to escape it. a pack going after her but still not willing to submit, the ending was absolutely great and i cannot wait for the second book when it introduces another character. the personalities of everyone was very well described! so distinct and those back stories were amazing. extremely steamy hot story and i was entranced in each page.

I have read the Regine Abel story of Xian Warriors , called DOOM !
Doom is the 1st in the Xian Warriors series.
In this book first contact is made with Earth, and Victoria is a nurse. Her and her co workers are in the direct path of evil space creatures who are trying to take over the world.
Enter Doom and his brothers who are the only ones who can fight these nightmare creatures.
And they do it well !!
As Victoria and Doom fight and scrape for each hard won battle , their epic love story fights right along side them .
This book is a marvel and a titillating peek into the Xian' s and their worlds as peacekeepers in the galaxy !!
I am always thrilled to read about them !!!!!

I'm reviewing for Born to be Bound by Addison Cain.
Shepherd and Claire are fire! From the first paragraph to the last word these two have the steam sipping off the pages!
The tug of war between them is deliciously dirty and raw. Both are very set in their way of thinking which means the other is wrong. The extreme measures each take in this book are so intense! Claire is desperate to get away from Shepherd and to not fall for the monster she sees him as... Shepherd is determined to keep Claire with him and get her to see he will satisfy her biology make up at any cost.
I can never get enough of these two and their journey.

Wide array of stories in this collection. I was expecting them all to be like Addison's story in here and that was not the case. This was a perfect book to take to read at the pool. Some stories were exceptional, others I had read before but read again because I am a little OCD about not finishing books., and others were not my favorite. Yet, that usually happens in an anthology. I like that these were full books and not just short stories.

...and some were so bad they were too embarrassing to continue. There might be 2 or 3 stories for you to enjoy if you give this collection a chance- but brace yourself for sorting through some pretty cringe worthy stuff to find them lol

Phoa...some really rather hot stuff here - although it could have been a 5 star read apart from some of the later stories.

Really enjoyed reading all of these books and they all leave you wanting to read more. Only problem I can see is since I'm reading them on my e-reader, it doesn't automatically list the next in the series and allow you to continue and read the next in the series for that particular author. I have been able to take notes and write down all of the books and plan to continue to read them all since they are so worth taking the time to look them all up and continue reading. Highly recommend reading since they are all so good I don't want to miss anything.

So many good stories...
I can't pick just one as I've loved this entire collection. There were a few I started that I thought I wouldn't enjoy but I soon got lost amongst the words and was transported to their worlds. Definitely found some new favourites.
If you're thinking about it but it you won't be disappointed.

i enjoyed the first three books in this compilation of books even though each one ended in a cliffhanger. Each book after that I struggled to finish by the time I got to the last two i had lost interest and DNF.

Dnf. 51% books were good but all were the first books and I have to read the whole series through. 😬 So reading the first book of each then purchasing all the sequels is just a little more then I can afford at the moment.

boring cliffhangers
Not worth your time. First story set the tone for this book. Ends in the dumbest cliffhanger. I looked up sequel. Looks like cliffhangers go for at least four more overpriced books. Sooo disappointed. I want my money back.
