This is the first book in the new Archer Brothers series and is Raven and Bryce's story. A cute insta romance that was a good read about a taboo romance. Their company not only has a no employee relationship rule and to make things worse he is her boss. Amazing how chemistry takes over and the rules go by the way side. A cute romance was was a quick read with an HEA. I read a free arc via Booksprout and voluntarily chose to review it

I love finding a new to me author and that is exactly what I found with Boss Rules and Jenna Gunn.
This is the first book in a new series and oh my this couple is sizzling off the pages.
Meet Raven Carson and Bryce Asher. The moment this couple meets on the train it is smolder, chemistry and undeniable pull towards one another. Bryce leaves his number and the ball in Ray's court. She is now alone in her hotel room and still cannot get the handsome man with the piercing blue eyes out of her head so she calls him.
One night and so much more than either expected but tomorrow is going to bring an unexpected twist to their Trist. Ray finds herself sitting across the conference table from her new bosses and those piercing blue eyes have once again landed on her.
Bryce and his brothers are the leaders in the ocean rescue squad and are conducting interviews for the new hires today and they have just found the perfect candidate and what a coincidence that she was in Bryce's bed last night and his dreams this morning! WOWZA!! Jenna absolutely kicked this series off with a flippin’ hot bang!!!!!!!
It’s no secret I am a HUGE fan of Jenna’s, her first series is one of my absolute favorites. This new series has such a different feel to it but of course her incredible writing that I love so much still shines through.
Boss Rules revolves around Raven and Bryce, from the moment these two meet the explosive chemistry is completely apparent. Unfortunately, for them, circumstances arise that complicate the situation. Raven is a beautiful, independent heroine who’s strength throughout the book is exemplary. Bryce is a sweet seriously HOT hero, living in the shadow of gossip and legacy. Their story is full of mouthwatering longing and enough steam to fill a sauna!
I cannot wait to see where Jenna takes this series, absolutely worth the read.

OMG! The chemistry between Bryce and Raven is off the charts! This is a sexy couple from the get go.
The set back of becoming off limits to each other does little to less the attraction and the feelings they have, and, like a ticking time bomb, it all explodes sooner or later.
This book is a real page turner. I couldn't put it down.
Can't wait to see what jappens to the other alpha males in the family.

“Boss Rules” is the first book in the new Jenna Gunn series about the Archer Brothers.
“Raven Carson, you pose a dilemma for me.”
Her eyes dance. “Well, Bryce Archer. It’s only a dilemma if you let it be.”
Raven Carson, just moved to California to peruse her dreams and escape her past demons. She’s a determined young woman, that is used to only being able to rely on herself.
The first day she arrives to California, she takes the coast train to see the view and meets Bryce. The Caribbean eyes hunk that is sitting next to her.
“Sniffing, she digs out a tissue from her bag and continues to laugh. “That woman looked at you like you were dessert in a five-star restaurant.”
Their chemistry is instant and off the charts and they give themselves to pleasure that same night... only to find out the next morning that Bryce is Ravens new boss, which makes their relationship impossible to progress.
“You shouldn’t walk around like that.”
Or I might do something really rash.
Like, drag you off to some utility closet.”
This book was very nice, the insta attraction and romance between the two is cute.
Our heroine is super strong, doesn’t give up no matter what you throw at her,... she is a role model for every woman. I love her!
As for Bryce he’s a little too pig headed, but overall a nice hero too.
This is a fun light read, tho I did feel like the narrative was dragging a little and that could have been a little more exploration of certain situations.

Wow, this book was amazing
(This review will contain spoilers)………I’ve read other books by this author and they were pretty good, but this one was spectacular IMO. Bryce and Raven have explosive chemistry from the moment they meet. They have a very intense ONS before she unknowingly has an interview with his company. She gets the job on her own merits. Bryce wants one more night with her before she starts working directly under him because their company forbids relationships between employers and employees.
Even in their so called work relationship, their attraction is undeniable. He cannot stay away from her. She was a little stronger than he was. What I loved about her was she was not only beautiful, but witty, confident and so competent in her job, which made Bryce fall more for her every day. The banter between them was hilarious.
A large part of this book is them working together and fighting their feelings for each other and just when I felt like I couldn’t take any more of that, they decide to take a big risk and be together (in secret if course). They get caught pretty much immediately.
But by now what started out as intense lust has turned into intense love. The ending was SO emotional on both of their parts— and I wasn’t expecting that. Especially from him. This book had me balling at that point and I absolutely loved it.

Boss Rules: A Knocked Up Romance by Jenna Gunn is the first book in the series. A romance story of Bryce and Raven. they met on a tour train and their attraction is undeniable and they had a one hot night together not knowing they going to meet again the next day for Raven interview for Ocean Rescue her dream job and going to work together and they know the rules no fraternizing so they need to stop seeing each other but it easy to say than done. they do alot of rescuing work and gets a lot of publicity and calling them the Hot Rescue Couple. and the night of a Banquet they gave an speech regarding their work they couldnt stay away to each other and spend the night in a hotel . the next morning someone saw them leaving the place.both reprimanded and suspended from their work and raven found out that shes pregnant she decided to give her resignation later and look for another job,she didnt want for Bryce to sacrifice his job,his legacy for her but Bryce didnt want that because she smore important to him than his job..An emotional,touching,entertaining and steamy romance story that you will love and enjoy!

Raven/Ray moved to California from Texas and meets sexy Bryce on a train trip and they end up together for a night of amazing sex. The next day Ray goes for her job interview and finds out Bryce will be her supervisor on the Ocean Rescue team. They have one more fantastic night together before she starts working for him but they can not be involved because the county has a no fraternization policy and she will not jeopardize her new job. Will Bryce and Raven be able to work together and have no intimate relationship?
I thoroughly enjoyed this forbidden relationship and give the story 4.5 stars. The author did a great job developing the characters and showing how their family relationships affected their lives. They became involved before they realized they couldn’t be together and they had to fight their attraction until it became impossible. Raven and Bryce had to made some tough decisions if they were going to be able to find happiness together. The epilogue was a perfect ending for their story.

A chance meeting between the two starts the sparks. When they realize she is to be hired by the team and the team has a no fraternization rule, they both try to tow the line. The attraction and chemistry is so strong they are starting to crumble.
Bryce and Raven are one couple that has a strong physical pull to the other. Soon their hearts are involved whether they like it or not. The plot is a fun read as they try to keep their relationship a secret. So many times we are wondering if this will be the time they get caught.
Thankfully after all the problems that crop up for them, they do find their perfect happily ever after. Boss Rules is a light read with humor throughout. I recommend this book by Jenna Gunn.

This story is about Raven and Bryce which starts this series about the Archer Brothers and it starts with a bang. This delightful story starts when Raven meets Bryce looking for a empty seat on a train and finds a seat next to Bryce who she finds very attractive and the chemistry sizzles. Bryce uses a sharpie and writes his phone on her arm and leaves the train, later that day at her hotel she calls and they have a dinner and a night of passion. In the morning Raven has an interview with Ocean Rescue and when she walks into the conference room, she finds out Bryce works there and they stop seeing each other because of the no fraternizing rule. When a rescue comes up where they worked together the Media broadcasted them as the Hot Rescue Couple. Now thrust together in the limelight, Raven and Bryce with their previous feelings are drawn together into a relationship. When the Council board members discovers their relationship, will they keep their jobs and their relationship? This engaging story is another well written story I enjoyed reading and reviewing via Booksprout. I look forward to the next book in this series.

Neither Bryce nor Raven wants to give up on the attraction and sex they share, they semi-agree its best for the job they both love and don’t want to lose after saving a high-profile victim. Bryce and Raven cause a media frenzy that likes the look of them together and identifies them as a couple supported by the photo capturing their look at each other. This book is steamy hot, and it also is a great story. Raven has moved from Texas to California to pursue her dream of being part of Ocean Rescue there. She has a very rare sizzling hot one night stand with Bryce, whom she met on a train. When the next day, she goes to her interview and finds out that Bryce will be her boss, I was thinking that this was going to be the same old story that I have read multiple times before, but I was very much mistaken. What develops is an original, fresh story that I could not put down. It really pulled me into it. It sometimes would have you reaching for a fan, and other times it would make you laugh out loud. I really enjoyed reading this book, and therefore, I highly recommend it. Also, Bryce has four more brothers, so I am looking forward to reading more from this author.

A great series starter. Raven and Bryce meet on a train and it’s lust at first sight, they hook up for a hot steamy night together.
When she goes on her interview the next day he is there on the panel along with his brothers.
They stop seeing each other because it is against policy to date a coworker, however the pull is too much and they can’t keep away from each other and are spotted together.
They are both suspended however Raven has a plan for both to be reinstated.
The down sides for me is
For me it lacked more rescue dramas, I would have liked more family interaction especially after they became more to each other, and lastly it lacked an epilogue, it would have been good to have her have the baby and see how life was maybe 6 months or a year later but it’s left unfinished which is disappointing and puts me off buying book 2 as that may end unfinished also and I hate unanswered parts of a story.

If the other books are like this it will be a hit. Raven wants the job for Ocean Rescue. She is on a tour train and meets Bryce and they have a hook up. When she goes on her interview he is there. They stop seeing each other because it is against the rules. They have a rescue and it gets a lot of publicity and they go on talk shows and it is a big deal. One night they just cannot keep up the staying away from each other and are spotted together. They are both suspended. Raven finds out she is pregnant and gives her resignation. Bryce also quits. Raven has an idea..... The characters are great and I love a good instalove book. It was a well written book and I am looking forward to other books in the series.

Jenna Gunn's Boss Rules: A Knocked Up Romance is a cute romance book about two people, Raven (Ray) and Bryce who cannot get enough of each other. Unfortunately for them they both work as Ocean County lifeguards and there is a no fraternization rule. Bryce is Ray's boss to top it off. While working a day in the launch they rescue Councilman Brightley's daughter and three friends when the weather and water turns bad. That earned them the nickname Dynamic Rescue Sweetheart's or Sweetheart's of Ocean Rescue and some infamous publicity they did not want. All in all this is a very enjoyable book and I for one am looking forward to more books from Ms. Gunn.

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this story about Bryce and Raven. Raven had just moved to California to interview for her dream job, the coastal rescue team. When she takes a train ride her life totally changes. Bryce can't believe his luck when Ray sits next to him in the train. It will change their lives for ever. After spending a passionate night together, image their surprise when she's the newest recruit interviewing. They have to keep it hidden but their desire is crazy for each other. When a chance encounter flips them upside-down, a surprise one the way, only a great HEA for these two.

This is the first book in the new Archer Brothers series and is Raven and Bryce's story.
After meeting a stranger on a train and having mind blowing sex with him all night, imagine Ravens surprise when she went to her interview for her dream job and he was going to be her new boss.
They are really attracted to each other and because there's no fraternisation in the work place how are they going to work together when thinking about having sex again, can they manage to find a way to secretly have a relationship or will they get found out?
This book keeps you wanting to turn the pages to find out what happens, it keeps you interested from the start to the end, this is the first book I have read by this author and wont be the last, I loved this story.

They are really attracted to each other and because there's no fraternisation in the work place how are they going to work together when thinking about having sex again, can they manage to find a way to secretly have a relationship or will they get found out?
This book keeps you wanting to turn the pages to find out what happens, it keeps you interested from the start to the end, this is the first book I have read by this author and wont be the last, I loved this story.

For me this was going to be a solid 5, and I was surprised because this is a pretty new author but then something I started to really hate happened, the female protagonist gets mad and blames the male for something she would have be mad if he does, but not only that, she would have judge him just like she did 2 chapters before. I really despite when females ask for something they don’t give back and then when hero says something they are the bad ones because they are the male🙃🙄 I loved every other aspect of this book but that scene alone made me take 1 whole star of this book😭 and I am really mad bc this is a pretty f awesome book

Boss Rules is a stand alone contemporary romance with a ONS that ends up a surprise baby trope. Its the first book in the Archer Brothers series with lots if action, steam and humor. This book has no cheating, no cliff hanger and a HEA.
Bryce Archer meets Raven "Ray" Carson on a train and the seat beside him is the only one left. They have immediate chemistry and he writes his number on her arm and asks her out for that evening.
Bryce shows up at her hotel room and the date is forgotten for a night full of steamy action that results in a broken condom. Come morning, Bryce heads to work and she heads to an interview. Turns out she's interviewing with Ocean Rescue for a Lifeguard position and Bryce and his brothers will be her bosses.
The job forbids them to be romantically involved but that doesn't keep them from remembering their one night and wanting more. Ray is determined that he is not worth losing her dream job over but will Bryce be able to walk away or will they both end up with everything they've ever wanted?

Strangers meeting on a train, their amazing connection and shared interests, not to mention off the charts chemistry and sexual satisfaction. The two combust together. Others even notice and comment. The new candidate for Search & Rescue really knows her stuff and during rescue she and the captain work together in tandem like they have a shared brain. So instinctual and smooth. It’s amazing!
I can’t wait to read to read the next book of the Archer Brothers series by Jenna Gunn.

I voluntarily read an arc of this book for an honest review. This book blew me away. I was immediately drawn to the interaction between the main characters. Literally the first scene in the book sets the stage for the chemistry and draw of this couple. Before either of them realizes who the other is, they have an amazing night together. Neither wants to let the connection and sizzle fade. But when the consequences of their continued affair makes itself known what will they do? Read this incredibly interesting and hot, hot, hot book!

I really enjoyed reading Boss Rules: A Knocked Up Romance by Jenna Gunn because it was such a fantastic story about Bryce and Raven. They had met on a train and felt an instant attraction to each other. Turns out she was applying for job and he was going to be her boss. They desperately tried to stay away from each other seeing that if they were caught, they would both lose their jobs. I loved their story and I really hoped that it would work out for them. I would highly recommend reading this story. It was such a great story about Bryce and Raven.

Raven meets a handsome stranger on the train, who would have known that after a hot and steamy they would be more. When she walked into her interview, she was shocked that her new boss at the Ocean Rescue is the stranger. Bryce and Raven realize they can not continue and stop seeing each other, but that is harder than they thought. When a rescue becomes news, their secret relationship is outed and they are suspended. Will this be the end of them, how will Bryce feel about will Raven's news.
This is a great start to a new series and I am looking forward to the next journey.

Who doesn't love a life guard
Oh please tell me this is a series about the Archer men, i wanna hear thaw Maddy got her clutches on to Christian, I really loved this one, the story was brilliant, the life saving, the drama between brothers, the love and sex between 2 strangers on a train, I think I would have jumped his bones too, the whole time I was reading this I was thinking of a programme me and the kids use to watch called Bondi rescue, all the characters were reminiscent of the all the guys there, I really liked Maddy and totally think she should get her love story, thankyou, I just couldn't put it down.

Did not like this at all. Raven just moves to CA & basically picks up a cute guy she meets on a bus. She tells him what hotel she's staying at & her room#. Instead of going out & getting to know each other, they stay in & have lots of sex. Thank goodness rapists & serial killers aren't good looking, right? They have lots of sex the next night too. But he ends up being her new boss, so they cannot continue their affair or their jobs are in jeopardy. Needless to say, they can't keep their hands off each other, so more sex ensues. I can't understand all the great reviews. Obviously, this book & author are not for me.

This book kept me at the edge of my seat, with all the will back and forth between Bryce and Raven, wondering if they would find a way to get their happily ever after. I was well and truly blown away with the level of intense sexual chemistry and emotional drama between them, which made the story quite interesting and kept me engrossed from the beginning until the end. If you want to read a beautifully written, feel-good romance book, then I suggest you get this one immediately.

Who doesn’t love a spicy work romance with characters chemistry so hot it is undeniable. I was hooked on the first chapter wondering what would follow. I love a character who take charge and fight for what he wants, this storyline will take you into a world filled with misunderstandings, drama and of course lots of loving. The relationship between Bryce & Raven will melt your heart, they are strong, stubborn, but You will fall in love with them, just love the epilogue, it melt my heart. I highly recommended it

I loved this book!!! It was cute, sexy, and sweet (and a great start to a series)!
I’m not normally a fan of the Knocked Up Romance storyline, but this book did it right. The story focused on building the characters, showing their off the charts chemistry, and setting the stage for a great series with these lovable characters!!! The quick wrap up was totally warranted and perfectly timed in the storyline.
I’m hoping for more from the Archers!

Jenna Gunn has hit the ball out of the ballpark with this fantastic book. This is the first book in the new Archer Brothers series. The book starts out with Raven (Ray) and Bryce meeting on a train. The chemistry between Ray and Bryce is very hot and off the charts. The emotional drama and trauma between them keeps you turning the pages and keeps you on the edge of your seat. I recommend this book if you want to read a good romance that is well written.
