This month has been hellish with school so I never had time to write up this book from late November. I was trying to get into the holiday spirit with some of my romances. Milly Taiden is one of my go to authors for general paranormal romance. It's never 5 star material but it can be pretty fun. The concept of Gerri Wilder's paranormal dating agency was super fun and I liked that she actually appeared.
Let's talk characters... as it's a romance I had low expectations for the plot but was wanting more from the characters.
Priscilla - she felt like a BBW stereotype. Just because you're a little bigger than societal norms does not mean you are gonna have completely trash self esteem. Priscilla is hired as a freaking underwear model, yet she chronically second guesses herself. Own your curves girl! I wish I could talk about more than her insecurities but that seems to be all there is to her in this novel.
Lake - I actually liked him which was shocking because I tend to gravitate away from those high powered businessmen/alpha of the pack types. Don't get me wrong a good alpha romance is great but he doesn't need to be a tycoon to win my heart. He was caring and attentive but for attentiveness a lot of clues went over his head. He tried to make Priscilla feel as beautiful as he knew she was.
Lyle - yeah. evil brother, we got it. Total douche bag and has some terrible plans that made me want to murder him. I was confused why he felt so strongly about his role in the pride. His characterization was beyond over the top and he was a joke especially since we knew the outcome. It's a romance Lyle was gonna lose. So his plot lacked real tension.
Let's conclude this. I enjoyed some parts but Priscilla & Lyle pissed me off. Honestly, I wish they could have been a couple so they could make each other suffer and Lake could get a better girl. The monologues were beyond cheesy both inner and spoken. Not great. Also the title didn't make much sense. Lake isn't much of a Scrooge and Scrooge didn't so he's no Lyle.

I am always super excited to see a new Paranormal Dating Agency book hit my kindle because I know I am in for a wonderful ride. And this time not only did our author take us on a ride in the snow and to dance but she led us on a bit of a mystery as well. Twin tiger shifter brothers, one good one not so much. Alpha Lake and Cilla story has it's ups and downs and lots of heat to boot. I hope we get to return to this clan maybe to see Manny get a chance at happiness in a future book?

Modeling love
Every year this author works her Christmas magic and brings us a fantastic holiday story we don’t want to miss. So much action, suspense and steamy moments that lead to love with the help of a certain silver wolf. I love this newest addition to the series and how we don’t really know people the way we think we do. The characters went through a lot in a few short pages, but they left their mark on me all the same. I hope the author brings us many more PDA books in the new year, and maybe a little history lesson from the famous mate maker. No matter what she sends my way next I’m sure it’s going to be amazing.

I'm so not a fan of the sugary sweet Christmas stories and end to stay away from them. But who can stay away from anything Milly right?
Priscilla was a bit weak to be a Milly heroine, I liked the story but she never really warmed for me and Lake Mr grump I warmed to him faster than I did Priscilla. I loved the way he tried to boost little Miss woe is me. Scrooged as a whole was a good Milly book, a bit of this, some of that, and a dab of magic. Milly and the PDA world always a fav of mine. Enjoy.

This one was a bit ho-hum. The sex was meh, the story was meh, the hero, Lake, was meh. I was surprised Priscilla didn’t call out Lake earlier.

I was intrigued when I saw that Gerri Wilder had an appearance in this story, so I gave it a try. Have to say I just couldn’t get into this story a lot of it didn’t make any sense to me.
Priscilla is obviously a BBW and holy smokes her self-esteem issues, was like an unwanted third in this story. Voluptuous women do not all have self-esteem issues. Wish authors would stop with that already.
Lake was like a breath of fresh air with how caring and attentive he was. He did everything to make Priscilla feel confident and know that he was devoted to her.
Unlike his brother Lyle who was a total douche and treated everyone as beneath him. His anger and intense vindictiveness was a bit over the top.
So while I enjoyed parts of this story I will admit that the numerous inner monologues, the at times cheesy dialogue, the over the top behavior of Lyle and Priscilla’s self esteem issues made this a book something of a miss for me.

This is an OK shifter romance, but I did have a few issues with it. It features the typical shifter instalove, but I would have liked a little more backstory on both Lake and Priscilla. I do always like Gerri Wilder and her matchmaking methods, though.
Lake and Priscilla were likable, but I got a little tired of Priscilla's lack of self-esteem. I did like that Lake did everything he could to give her more confidence.
I also didn't really believe that Priscilla was in love with Lake. She was definitely in lust, but she wasn't a shifter, so I didn't believe she would fall in love with him so quickly -- especially since their first date was a disaster, and she thought he was awful.
One complaint is that most of Milly's stories are a bit too explicit for me. I like hot sex in romances, but I would prefer it to be a little less descriptive and dirty. I am not a prude, but the really explicit stuff is just not romantic to me. But I will continue to read Milly's writing, as it is entertaining and fun.
My rating system is below.
1 star -- Hated it, or did not finish. I usually only give this rating if some of the content is truly objectionable to me, like if one of the main characters does something really awful, and gets away with it.
2 stars -- Didn't like it. This rating usually means that I thought the writing wasn't very good, the editing was terrible, I didn't like the characters, or it had other major flaws.
3 stars -- I liked it, but had some minor issues with it. This rating means that there were minor editing issues, the story needed more character development, it was just too unrealistic, or had some other fairly minor issue. The majority of books I read get this rating – I do not consider it a bad rating.
4 stars -- I liked it a lot. This is a high rating for me, and I rarely give a higher one.
5 stars -- I loved it, and will probably read it again. Very few books are good enough to get this rating from me. The ones that do are usually classics.

A Christmas book that is filled with Cheer, Love and also corruption
This was a simply wonderful read that had been written with Milly Taiden’s usual wonderful style and that is all to do with one of Gerry Wilder’s renowned matches and one on this occasion that seems to have gone disastrously wrong and that was between Lake and Priscilla.
As the second meeting happens whilst she has agreed to take part in a modelling job to raise additional funds to pay for the Christmas toys, she wishes to give the children that are currently being cared for in the local hospital that her mother also works at as a nurse.
As the story continues it soon becomes apparent that both Lake and Priscilla were in fact “Fated Mates” and this was why they had been involved so happily from their meeting at the modelling job. However, it soon became apparent that someone very close to Lake is working against him and doing everything possible to split up the couple and also in making him lose the lingerie business that supports the pack.
This is a wonderful read and I can assure you that you will be totally captivated once you begin reading this wonderful book.

Priscilla Bryant had thought it was simply being matched by the famous Gerri Wilder and then all her romantic dreams would come true. However, having met him, the shifter who was her match turned out to be a complete jerk and she never wants to see him again. Lake Walker knows that sexy Pricilla is his mate as soon as he sees her and was shocked to then find that she hates his guts (which is definitely not supposed to happen when you meet your mate). Yes, she is a handful, but he is willing to fight for the woman sho is his. It's not every day that Gerri is told she made a mistake (like never) but it seems that someone is doing everything they can to keep them apart even if one of them dies as a result. Can Lake and Pricilla solve the mystery and find out who is sabotaging their future together or will they be too late?
I really liked this which had lots of drama, danger and a huge mystery to solve as we worked through it all with them. It was cleverly written so you really weren't completely sure who and why until the end. I really felt for them and was really pleased when it was all sorted out and they could have a future together. Contains just some sexual content.

Priscilla thought that being matched by Gerri Wilder meant that she would find the one actually meant for her. She wasn't planning on meeting a complete jerk who may be handsome but is just mean. She takes it as a sign that maybe there isn't anyone for her. Lake knows that Priscilla is his mate the minute he meets her. But he doesn't understand why she seems to hate him. That isn't supposed to happen when fated mates meet. But he is more than willing to fight for her. And when Gerri is told she has made a mistake, she knows there has to be something more to the story because she doesn't make mistakes.
I definitely liked this one! Lake and Priscilla definitely have that mate chemistry but they find that they actually like each other as well. There was a twist in there that I wasn't expecting at first but then it made more sense, even if it broke my heart for Lake. I loved seeing all the other couples that Gerri has helped, especially as I loved those stories as well. I just wish it had been longer, but I always wish that when I get involved in a story! Another great read in this series!

Lake was such a sweetheart. It was nice to see an alpha that really is a caretaker and not just commanding. I liked Priscilla more once she started to gain her confidence. At the beginning I wasn't a big fan, she was not just shy, but too focused on the negative. She is thirty and feels like she's running out of time (thirty is not old!). She has had two relationships that didn't work out, and feels like she's unlovable. It feels a little weird to go from her being so unsecure about herself to the fast past relationship with Lake. I thought they were cute together, I just wish we could have seen them more with family and the pride.
I thought that Lyle was over-the-top as a bad guy. I'm surprised that there wasn't some hint that he was that bitter. I could see Lake not realizing (we often have blind-spots for the people we love), but that no one from the pride hinted at anything seemed odd. Also, Lyle and Lake's mother was mentioned at the beginning by Gerri, but then we never actually met her. I was expecting to see her meet Priscilla at some point.

Hola y casi adios por ahora,
He llegado al 29 y cosa rara siento que este fue una pequeña despedida porque al final hay una fiesta donde estan todas las parejas de los 4 planetas (Tierra Nova Aurora y Galaxia) que Gerri ha unido contando como es ser padres.
Ahora, por parte la historia de este me gusto porque fue con mucha accion. Al comienzo odie a Lake por haberle dicho lo que le dijo a Piscila en el restaurante pero me dije ... no puede que a Gerri le falle a menos que sea un gemelo identico.... y suazzz.... jajaja ... no podia dejar de pensar que le hizo cambiar a Lake de repente y solo porque le dijeran que era la modelo perfecta para la revista ?? seguia pensando en el gemelo malvado y pues casualmente se llama Lyle quien secuestra a Priscila para emparejarse y lastimar al hermano exitoso. hubo peklea en la nieve de gatos y murio el malo pero a Prisc le queda la duda si es o no Lake y le hace una pregunta de la que solo ellos saben la respuesta. y lo confirma. ja !! donde no hubiera sido Lake que pasaria ?? Intentare bajar el 30 y leerlo a ver que sucede .... si no poco a poco. vamos que xon ... 80 !!!

Weeks later while doing a favor for her friend Maya she gets hired for a modeling job doing full figure clothing. When the owner walks in it's Lake. Pris wants nothing to do with that arrogant man, but the man who is drooling over her isn't the same one that treated her so badly.
Lake is a twin. He's also the Alpha of the Tiger Pride. His brother, Lyle, got the original model to quit when she realized that he was playing around with her. When Lake sees Priscilla, he knows that she's his mate.
But Lyle will do anything to get rid of his Alpha brother to become the new Alpha, even kidnap his mate and try to claim her.

Great story! I think it may be one of my favorites of the series. I really enjoyed how the characters had a false start to their relationship, then they got their real start. I liked all of the characters, even the bad. I'll explain why I liked the bad one, because he seemed realistic. He was the typical younger brother with an inferiority complex, always feeling like he was living in his older brother's shadow. Of course, it was all in his head, but that's how life usually goes. The two main characters were a great pair. Each brought the best in the other. He helped her feel more confident until she felt it on her own, and she makes him feel loved and centered. They each supported one another and made it so that theirs was a real partnership. I really enjoyed their story. The book also had a nice bit of suspense and excitement, plus the steamy parts, which rounded it out well. Well done to the author. I look forward to the next book!

This was a cute book to read for the holidays. Lake and Priscilla had such great chemistry! I thought that maybe Gerri Wilder had finally gotten her matchmaking wrong at the beginning of the book but was pleasantly surprised to see that Gerri Wilder never fails. I also enjoyed that the characters of the previous books from a while back made an appearance in this book. This is one of my favorite series of books from Milly Taiden and highly recommend this series to anyone if you like shifters and curvy girls.

This story starts out a little differently than the others as Gerri has already set up Lake and Priscilla on their first blind date. We start out as the date is beginning but everything seems to go wrong and it appears that Gerri has lost her touch. Little does Priscilla know that the person she is on a date with is not Lake at all but someone trying to keep them apart.
As I am a twin myself I, I can easily see someone not being able to tell twins apart. I really felt for Priscilla and loved this twist to the story.
It is an amazing read and I highly recommend buying to see the twists and turns this takes for Priscilla and Lake when they finally meet.

OMG! This is the 29th book in the Paranormal Dating Agency series by Milly Taiden. I love to read her books soo much. This story is about Lake and Priscilla. Lake is tiger shifter and the alpha and he is such a sweetheart too. Priscilla is set up by the famous Gerri Wilder but it turn to be on one of the worst dates in her life. Lake and Priscilla had such great chemistry! So what happened to her first date with Lake. Who was she on the date with? I can't wait to read to mlre from themis series. Keep up the amazing work! I HIGHLY recommend reading ALL of Milly Taiden books.

Lake meets Priscilla at a film shoot when she fills in at the last minute. He is a little confused by the cold should she is giving him but he quickly wins her over.
Little did they know that someone was interfering in their relationship and the pride.
Nice, quick story. Both characters are likable and meant for each other. The title is a little misleading since Lake is definitely not a Scrooge!

Every paranormal dating agency book is unique never the same. I fell in love with Priscilla and her determination to have a better life. I love her shyness and her ability to speak up when need to be. No, I'm not going to tell you this story like I don't tell any of the others. I just think when you read this book you'll love the standalone. It was great seeing all the old characters from previous books come for a visit. Stop reading my review and go read the book!

Gerri is a master at matchmaking...but what's going on with Priscilla and Lake? Priscilla was excited to be matched with Lake but he seems less than thrilled on their first date. He's rude and disrespectful. Then the next time they meet, Lake is sweet and caring and happy to see her. What the heck is going on? Priscilla is so confused. How could Gerri have been so wrong?
Love this series and all the characters. But Gerri is the best!

She sets up a date for the two and it doesn't work out. She has never been wrong with a single one of her matches in all of the years that she has been doing them and can not figure out what went wrong. You will have to read the book to find out what all happens to everyone. All things are not as they seem and foul play is at work. Happy reading!

This story includes identical twins that don’t have the relationship they both think they have. Gerri Wilder has a 100% matchmaking success rate which is how the reader knew from the start that something was amiss. This was a good installment for there to be almost 30 books in this series. Usually a series with that many installments gets stale, but this book was far from stale.

This is Lake and Priscilla's story . Have your fan ready ! This one is so hot and good !! Gerri is working her magic for another couple whom really need her help ! I love these PDA stories !! Another fantastic read and a great addition to the PDA series. I especially liked the new twist added in this romantic adventure I didn't expect it or see it coming for a minute I was like Gerri's lost her abilities. Overall a enjoyable and entertaining read. Priscilla was looking for love and counted on Geri Wilder to help her out. However, she couldn't help feeling that her 1st meeting with her "intended" didn't really go as planned. Not only was he rude but there were no sparks. So imagine her surprise when she takes a job for him and he's TOTALLY different and yes, there were sparks! Total mate material you say? But he never mentioned his brother.....Another wonderful PDA story by the fabulous Milly Taiden!
