This was another first in a series for me. Reading out of order was not to difficult as the author briefly caught you up on the players. The action started early on and kept going to the end. You had it narrowed down to a few key suspects but the killer wasn't figured out to the very last (for me anyway). This is the way I like my cozy mysteries to read. I think this is the highest rating I given any of the books in my Thanksgiving themed readathon. I truly enjoyed it.
This book (#8 in the series) definitely started better than it finished. It is another one where the end felt abrupt - like things were moving along and then the author realized she was at a page limit and just abruptly ended things without anyone really figuring it out. It is also another one where Molly really did all the work. I like the books that have more involvement from Carol and Laura better.
