빈민가 이라 스트리트의 허름한 공동주택에서 근근이 살아가고 있는 가난한 대필작가 셰본은 가족도 없이 친구라곤 닥터 포크스뿐이고, 최근까지 사귀던 연인과도 헤어진 쓸쓸한 신세다.

하루하루를 먹고살 걱정으로 보내던 셰본의 집 문에, 어느 날부터인가 이상한 쪽지가 나붙기 시작한다. 그리고 신경을 거스르는 그 쪽지의 정체를 밝혀 내기도 전에, 셰본은 자신의 집 앞 계단참에서 매일같이 지치지도 않고 하루 종일 양파를 까는 수려한 미청년과 조우하게 된다.

날마다 셰본에게 온갖 언어로 아침 인사를 건네는 미청년에게 시달리던(?) 셰본은 그에게 양파 냄새를 없애기 위한 초를 선물했다가 졸지에 저녁 식사에 초대받게 되고, 얼결에 저녁을 먹으러 간 그의 집 침실에서 시체를 목격하게 되는데....

이라 스트리트를 떠들썩하게 만들고 있는 연쇄살인사건과 셰본에게 붙은 의문의 스토커, 그리고 양파 까는 미청년의 관계는?!

Estoy ????

Me agarró completamente desprevenida lo buena e interesante que estuvo esta historia jsjsjs tipo espera un BL nivel Killing Stalking Season I 01, pero en vez de eso terminé leyendo un manhwa que me hizo sentir lo mismo (aunque éste me gustó mil veces más) que An Uncomfortable Truth en el sentido de que arranqué ambos manhwas esperando cierto tipo de historia, y me terminaron sorprendiendo por completo porque la trama no terminó siendo PARA NADA como pensaba. Murderous Lewellyn’s Candlelit Dinner me atrapó desde el primer capítulo, tanto con su arte como con el misterio detrás del personaje de Lewellyn, y hasta me hizo sufrir cuando nos enteramos de su backstory jssjs tipo el paquete completo. Muy buen manhwa, man. Las BL stans ganamos ✊🏻

Read the manhwa and really liked the characters and how it kept you on edge – especially in the beginning ❤️

Unfortunately, it did have some noticeable plot holes and loose ends, but overall it's a good read

This novel had no business being this sad. Based on the title I thought it would be a mystery thriller with a hot dark-haired murder etc but it defied all of my expectations. Sometimes when some books are rated very well you need to be skeptical of how good it actually is. This book in my opinion lived up to its rating. The number of times I had to get a tissue directly speaks to how sad this was. And it was very sad. But seeing them happy and having so many damn onions on their table in the last chapter made me cry the most. So. Many. Onions. 😭😭😭

I am very happy that they found salvation through each other. I hope Shavonne and Llewellyn live happily ever after in their three-story brick house with a puppy named Happy. And to everyone, Happy New Yeers O:)

Me encantó! Tardé en leerlo porque no encontraba el final por ningun lado, así que cuando lo encontré me puse con ello y soy feliz. Me ha entretenido mucho, es una historia sencilla y cliché, pero acá amamos eso en el romance, así que, bienvenido sea.

Amo esta historia, me atrapó desde el primer momento y en las partes mas difíciles me hizo llorar a mares. Aún no leo la novela, y es lo que quiero preguntar, alguien sabe donde leerla? Me urge, no puedo decir que soy fan de ese manwha sin haber leído la novela JAJAJA. Lo recomiendo mucho

I am obsessed with the manhwa and I want to read the english version of the novel but I can't find it anywhere😭
I love Lewellyn and Shavonne so much. The manhwa is a masterpiece and the plot is top tier. I want more of them🧅📗. I can't find any manhwa that can top the plot of MLCD😭
