Absolutely loved this. The main character neve seemEd really bitchy to begin with but as the story progressed you could see it was just a front. Her dad is super mean and I seriously wanted to shank him...

Silver Skates just keep on giving with fun reverse harems that have plenty of steam .
Neve is another newcomer to town and she isn't exactly happy to be in the middle of nowhere. This girl has lived the high life and she isn't happy that daddy dearest has forced her to middle of nowhere.
She isn't a fan of small towns and it's quick to see why she isn't please to be in close quarters as her flaws come out .

Neve may come of as the snobby girl at first but there is much more to this story. I felt sorry for the pressure she has from her father and he isn't the most heart warming person. It's made her for who she is currently and I loved how the guys came along and warmed her heart.
It's not smooth sailing as it wouldn't be SS book otherwise but each guy had their own problem that help Neve shine in a positive light.

Neve opened up a new side of Silver Springs, the human side introducing readers to The Gazette, the human approved paper in town. She may of not wanted to warm up this town but she did herself a favour by helping others.
She is an interesting addition given her past and what she brought to the town. I love her mates having some familiar ties and bring new ones to the town. Scott has outdone herself with is addition to the world

Today was a busy day. Normally Wednesday is my day off, but today I had quite a few appointments and most of them were not really much fun. However, I decided to start my day with something that would for sure brighten my spirits a little: The newest Silver Springs book! Not one of those books has ever disappointed me and I know that whenever I need a little cheer and lightness in my life, these are the books to reach for.

And this book was not any different. Although Neve had a slightly bitchy attitude in the beginning, I actually quite liked her quite fast. Mostly because I recognized the feeling of being pressured into something you're not entirely sure about. Neve might have seemed the typical rich girl who is used to have everything her way, but we soon learn that there's a lot more pain and tragedy behind that facade and that Neve's life has been far from easy.

Of course she doesn't have to battle her demons alone. After an impromptu skating adventure she all of a sudden catches the eye of four amazing men. Although this book is slightly short, just like the other books in this series, Scott manages to really make the four guys different, unique and she also manages to give them all their own backstory and their own histories. Therefore they all react quite differently to the mating bond and everything that happens because of it. And although the book is of course quite hot, Scott also takes her time for some emotional conversations.

And just like in all the other books we are surprised with a lot of amazing cameo's. Even though each story stands on its own, and I really think you can like this story if you've never read any of the other books, it's always lovely to see some familiar faces and to be able to find all the easter eggs that are hidden throughout. It's the combination of that familiarity, and feeling like those characters are my friends, and the warm and happy feelings this book, and the others, left me with, that always makes me look forward to reading the next book!

Neve. More like Naive. At the first whiny "daddy" I fled from his book so quick. It was an instant nope. Wasn't in the mood for it and had just finished an m/m group challenge with a different type of daddy. Read the previous book got back into the RH swing and gave it another go.

In the beginning I couldn't stand the Neve. Whiny, twenty six going on eighteen. It felt very young and a little high school fairytale in the way she meets each guy one after the other. It also felt a little close to cheating with no one knowing anything until the meetup. I liked the mix of mates, each one had their own personality and quirks. I liked the spell and the confession to Buttercup. Can't remember her story but it was a sweet chaotic moment.

The only reason I did like Neve was because of her dodgy magic. I've always loved the Mildred Hubble types, so I'm cheering for Julian, Juniper and the rest. My opinion of Neve did a whole 180 learning the reason she is the way she is. Yep. Daddy issues. I felt sorry for her and I liked how the guys were so supportive. Feels liked she's a lot younger than she is but it had comedy elements and it was a nice addition to the series.

This was a great addition to Silver Springs! I always love meeting the wonky witches of this town and new supes. I felt like this book was a coming of age type story for Neve and I enjoyed her journey. This book had snark, steam, and a failing newspaper.
I feel like Neve grew a lot within the story and she came out as a better person with a true family in the end. My favorite of her guys was probably Niklaus because he was a reindeer shifter. Seren, Rory, and Colden were great guys as well and I loved that they had distinct personalities. I thought a snowshoe hare shifter and a selkie shifter were unique to write about, but I wish we could have seen more of them in their shifted forms.
I liked seeing Buttercup and her bake shop again, her treats always make me hungry! Also, I really want to see Sammie, Seren’s sister, come down and meet Neve because she seemed like a very snarky and loving character. I need more of this series and I’m itching to get my hands on Kari’s story next!

I loved this book. Neve is spoiled at first and doesn´t want to be in Silver Springs but she becomes a better person thanks to her guys and the mating bond. There´s also a problem with her magic but I can´t say what, you´ll have to read the book to find out, you won´t regret it. I also like who the villain turns out to be.
I´m really hoping to see more of Neve and her guys in other books cause I love them all, her guys are so different and so perfect for her, and I know I can´t actually see them but their so hot and sexy, I just want them for myself.
You can´t go wrong with a book in the Silver Springs world, they´re all really good books, funny, romantic and so easy to read. I´m so excited to read the next ones in this series cause the first three are amazing!

What happens when a spoiled party girl heiress gets sent to a small town to turn around the local newspaper her father owns?

Well, this is Silver Springs where just about anything can happen!

A trip to the Silver Skates rink - of course - sets Neve off on a journey where she discovers that her life isn't what she thought. By the end of the book, the little rich girl has turned into a loving and lovable woman, with multiple mates, all of whom support her.

And props go to the creation of one of the most awful people I've ever read about, and who only appears in a few small, but significant scenes, Neve's father. To create such a loathsome creature in so few words takes skill!

Rich, daddies girl Neve (FMC) ends up in Silver Springs to help her dad's newspaper - The Silver Springs Gazette to start making a profit. Not really happy being sent to a small town from New York she doesn't plan on being there long. Neve's character seems to change and grow throughout this book. With the introduction of each guy - Niklaus, Rory & Colden but Seren is a more prickly one. He takes longer than the others to warm up to Neve. Especially with his own issues. So Neve has both him and a truly hateful, unsupportive father. A steamy but sweet read with characters that you genuinely want to get a HEA ending. Loved it

This is a fun, sweet entertaining read that takes place in the Silver Skates universe. This was my first book in this world and it was great! I will definitely be reading more . Things start off a little rocky for Neve , being a city girl coming to a small town, She is feeling out of her element, her father has a less than stellar opinion of her,and things look a bit bleak, she had a bit of a rough start in a this new town but her life starts to turn around for her after a few chance meetings. I enjoyed Neves' journey and her growth! Overall, this was a really cute, steamy ,entertaining paranormal RH read with fun, creative characters !

This is book 3 of the Silver Skates collection. As always, this can be read as a standalone.

Love, Love, love this one! We first met Neve at the end of Ember and it was awesome to get to know more about her. She was new to the town to take over her father's business or lose her inheritance. She comes off as a snobby rich girl, but she has so much depth to her. This magical town has brought some meaning to her life by bonding her to four mates. These seem to get better and better each books. I cannot express how enjoyable all of these stories are.

I received an ARC and voluntarily gave my honest opinion and review

I have yet to read a book from this world that I don’t adore. I love the heroine as we peel back her layers and find out that she’s actually incredibly strong and why she had such a struggle in the past. I love Niklaus and Conrad, they’re totally different but they make her happy in such unique ways. I didn’t feel the connection with her other two mates quite as well, but they’re scenes were still great. Overall an adorable read with plenty of steam.

I loved this third book from Silver springs! Sent to this town is Neve a rich city girl witch to save her fathers newspaper and where she meets her mates, a hot and sexy journalist, a demon stripper, a reindeer shifter, and a selkie. It’s full of drama, a little sadness, a lot of laughter, a whole lotta steam and magic and is a great addition to this series.

Loved this storey and although Neve comes across very entitled to start with she is actually a very likable young lady with a really judgemental father. She is given an ultimatum to show that she is worthy of her last name by turning around a business in silver springs.
But instead she finds a querky town that accepts her and some wonderful mates and friends.
Really enjoyable fun storey

What a fun and sweet read this was. Of course throw in a tad of steam and you have a nice little read on your hands. I just really love this interconnected series. I feel like it is a warm blanket on a cold day with a warm cup of hot cocoa. That is what this series makes me feel.

Neve is a great character who goes from the city life to the small town of Silver Springs. She gets to connect with some friends and maybe find a mate or two or three.

I loved this series and the world that is built in this small town. It was fun watching Neve get to move to this town and fit right in.

This was a fun one! Neve heads to Silver Springs, on her father's orders, to take control of a failing newspaper. She soon meets quite a few men who discover they have a link to her, but they're not all happy about it. Neve also has very limited (and wonky) magic, but this makes for some very funny moments throughout.

I really enjoyed this story, and especially liked the relationship with Neve and her mates. It was different to others I've read in this series, in the way they weren't immediately all fawning over her, and had their own doubts and concerns about it all.

This book had some laugh out loud moments, along with some sweet 'aww' ones. A fun story!

This was an incredible book! I really really enjoyed the personal growth of the Neve. She had to overcome a pretty crappy father and was able to meet and form relationships with four great men. While there were some sad parts, I really enjoyed the ending. I’m glad that I read this book and can’t wait to read more by Helen Scott.

Neve just moved to Silver Springs after her father forced her. She has turn the human newspaper around and bring a profit, if she wants to go back to her lavish lifestyle. But what she wasn't expected was to find her four mates and that she's not really the wonky witch she thought she was.

It was a fun and light novel. Neve's mates were adorable while her father was a really piece of work.

I was kindly provided with an ARC by the author, but I'm leaving a voluntary and honest review.

Neve is Helen Scott’s contribution to the Silver Springs series and this book is packed with steamy romance with handsome shifters in a beautiful little town in upstate New York. This book will capture your attention and keep you page-turning to the very end as Neve finally learns the truth behind her magic and unexpectedly finds something that she wasn’t looking for…love.
Neve: Silver Skates is book three in the Silver Springs series, but this book is a stand-alone, but you’ll meet some of the characters from the other books written by the various authors contributing to this series. Neve has been sent to Silver Springs by her father as a test, but is it really a test that she can pass on her own? She’s supposed to get the local newspaper back in the black, or she’ll be forced to work wherever her father deems “appropriate” to place her. Neve has always been treated as a screw-up because of her “lack” of magic, but is there more going on than it seems?
When I first started reading this book I was worried I wouldn’t like Neve. She seemed like an entitled party girl who was just upset daddy was making her take on some responsibility. Imagine my surprise when Neve actually turns out to be a likeable character! LOL! I kept waiting for the snotty attitude and sense of entitlement, but that never really comes. Of course, the author shows exactly why, but it won’t be for a while, but trust me when I say it’s worth the wait. As Neve makes her way around the town, meeting her various mates I can’t help but smile. Each of the guys feels the connection, but Neve…not so much. I have to admit that I love Seren’s relationship with his sister. He’s the most stubborn of the group, but worth coming around for.
Things move pretty quickly with this book. Since its “fated mates” you get the insta-love/lust with all the characters. For a couple of them, things don’t quickly transition to falling into bed, but when things get steamy…they get STEAMY! I loved it.
I am rating this book 5 out of 5 stars. The author did a good job with the characters and the storyline and I will be reading the other books in the series in the near future. If you are looking for a steamy reverse harem paranormal romance with engaging characters and don’t mind “insta-love/fated mates” then this book will be a good choice to pick up.

Neve comes from a very wealthy family but her dad treats her like a screw-up. He is tired of all the newspaper articles about Neve so he decides to send her out of the city. He is giving her one last chance to make good. He is handing over the recently purchased Silver Springs newspaper to her and she has to turn it around so it is profitable again. Neve is upset by her dad's action and she doesn't want to go to this town in Nowhere upper New York. She arrives at Silver Springs to find out she has a dumpy apartment and the newspaper office is a complete mess. One of her 2 new employees, Seren seems to resent her. She accompanies Seren to the new ice rink. While there she tries on an enchanted pair of skates and odd things start to happen. She keeps meeting sexy mostly shifter men and becomes wildly attracted to them. They try to tell her that she is their mate but she doesn't believe them. After all, she is a defective witch and witches don't have mates.

Seren is her first mate and he is an artic hare shifter. He is so shocked to have a witch for a mate he runs off after a seriously passionate kiss. Rory is her second mate who she meets at Club Vee. He is a selkie who is visiting different supernatural towns until he finds his mate. Colden is a half demon she meets on the way to the bakery. He is trying to get the courage to tell the baker that he is her half-brother. Neve uses her magic to help him and it turns into a disaster. Nicklaus is her fourth mate and a reindeer shifter. He is a member of the Silver Springs professional shifter hockey team He is thrilled to have found his mate. Can there men convince Neve that her new home is in Silver Springs and that she really is their mate?

3.8 stars.
So far, this is the best book I’ve read in this series.
I mean, that’s not saying a ton, since I’ve only read two other books. But with the ridiculousness and the jumbled weird timeline and writing of the other two, this one really sticks out.
It was actually relatively normal for a book about a witch, 3 different shifters, and a demon stripper.

I really liked it.
The plot was simple. Not much drama except dealing with an asshole father, and slowly learning to accept the mate bonds.
Because of that little bit of push and pull with the bonds I feel like we got some pretty good relationships out of it.
The sex was hot. I would’ve liked an individual scene with Colden and then a group scene with all of them on top of what we got, but the scenes we got were definitely enjoyable and I really liked them so I can’t complain too much.

It was a good book.
I’m glad I picked it up. And I’m not gonna lie, the reason it caught my eye was because of the demon stripper.
For good reason.😂🤷🏻‍♀️

I might end up looking into more from this author, because I’ve noticed that in multi author series like this, the books authors put out always seem to be just a tiny bit below their usual writing standards. Whether it be because of a rushed timeline or just a lack of true passion for the prompted storyline, I don’t know.
But since I liked this, I’m hoping that means I might love one of this author’s other books.
We’ll see if my hypothesis proves right if I decide to read something else from her.

I was looking for something a bit light after a very dark and heavy read and thought this would be something cute and fun. For some reason the beginning of the book felt like I was trapped in a bubblegum factory. Neve came across a bit vapid and look at me I’m cute and I have money and she seemed to pick up her men like she was out buying baubles.

Her guys Seren, Rory, Colden & Niklaus are all nice and the author let you get to know them a little with some light back-story. I still found despite this being a reverse harem that it lacked in the sexy build up. There were copious amounts of horizontal time, which took up most of the story, while the words were all there to make this a steamy read I just wasn’t able to connect with the characters which made the sexy times came across a bit perfunctory and bland.

Thankfully as the story progressed we got to know Neve and understood her character a bit more and she became more caring and less superficial. Her father was a piece of work that did a lot of damage to her self-esteem. His ire and disdain did make the guys all super protective of her, which helped to cement their growing mate bond.

So if you are looking for a cute, no heavy lifting read then you have found it.

I loved how this story set around the human Gazette were Neve is forced to travel to silver spring and turn the paper around and make a profit or face her father back home but little dose she know things are about to drastically change for the better.
I really disliked her father from the very start and at times felt very sorry for Neve with the way he treated her as things developed thought out The story.
The sexy new shifters Rory, Colden, Niklaus and Seren who all brought something new to the story and I just loved the broody Seren and his Alfa ways and how much pent up energy he had for Neve and thought it was totally hot and I loved the chemistry between then all. The sweet Colden with his dancing abilities and his lovable nature that made you just love him even more. The funny moments through out the story that just make you smile while wondering what would happen next and I thought when Neve accidentally made Colden say what ever he was thinking come out of his mouth while meeting ButterCup and Neve ended up shoving macaroons in to his mouth to shut him up I thought that was really funny and I just loved everything about this story and thought it was really enjoyable to read.

Funny and fast paced story with magic gone wrong, crappy family relationships, and miscellaneous mate bonds just appearing out of nowhere.
When Neve arrived to Silver Springs, she had that snobbish attitude of rich and spoiled city girl, looking down on the small town like a brat. However, the magic worked its mojo, and in basically no time Neve felt at home, more than she ever did at her actual home. And the hot guys catching her eye and warming her heart (and else) definitely have nothing to do with it... though, the challenge Neve faces might have a different outcome if she does not seize control over her life, and fast.
This was such a light-hearted, heart-warming story that lifted my mood in dark times (or whatever you call working 7 days a week). Hilarious scenes perfectly combined with steam, drama, and emotional outbursts, backfired spells, and four attractive men with attitude and certain skills that could melt more than just ice cold heart. If you like RH combined with magic and romantic comedy, this is the right choice.

This hard-partying, spoiled little rich witch with wonky magic isnt very likeable at first. With a cold and emotionally abusive father you see how she's been convinced she's never going to be anything but a failure, so has seemingly given up trying. Forced to Silver Springs with the ultimatum to turnaround a failing newspaper or spend her life warehoused in one of his businesses it seems like an impossible task, but what is her alternative? Neve would end up spending her life filing, locked in a hated job she has no say over, in a cubicle. The last thing her cold cruel father expected was that she would come up with a workable plan, plus find her soulmates in the process. But when Daddy finds that he goes ballistic. He's issuing ultimatums and the lengths he has gone to to insure Neve fails in business and becoming the amazing person she was meant to be is shocking. Her turning the tables leads to a very satisfying happy ending.

Silver Springs brings you Neve. She is a bit of a spoiled rich girl and she is a witch. She is a witch but her father does not want her to use her magic and work for everything like a human would. Neve likes to party and just have fun. That is until daddy dearest tells her she has to go to Silver Springs to take over the paper and turn a profit. So she sets off to Silver Springs. She meets Seren and that does not go well. Then she meets Rory, Niklaus, and Colden. She has no idea what is going on and why she is attracted to these men. This has some funny moments and infuriating moments as well. So we see how one guy is trying to deny the bond and the others accept it. It is funny how she does not see that there is a bond. Then things get crazy. We see another side of daddy dearest and then what these men will do for her. We do get a happily ever after though. You totally need to read this book/series.

Neve is a city girl in a small town, forced there by her father to either save or salvage the Newspaper that he purchased.
This may be her last chance to prove she's capable of taking the family business higher.
But being in a town full of supernaturals is a bit confusing for Neve. Everyone seems to know she's witchy, but she's always been a failure at that.
Now, she's anxious to prove her worth, but to also become her own person.
Neve isn't just a rich daddy's little girl, and she doesn't just want to be known that way. When the handsome snarky paper editor, treats her that way, she tries to get in his good graces, only to catch herself attracted to him.
But, she also finds herself attracted to a couple other guys in town.
So trying to help a new friend out, she tries a little harmless spell. Or so she thought. Turns out it encompasses more than she knows, and she can't fix it.
Neve is trying to find herself, save a Newspaper, fix her magic, and have a but of fun to boot.
What could go wrong?

I loved this book! It was the perfect pick me up that I needed after a hard week. Silver Springs never fails to give a laugh or lift spirits with the hilarity that ensues in the town. This book is no exception. Neve Astor is a witch whose father has forbidden her to use her magic. Problems ensue when she tries to help with a small spell and when she is affected by the spelled skates. Moving to Silver Springs may not have been her ide, but finding her four mates while she is there is just the thing she needs to find the courage to finally stand up to her father and his domineering ways. I could not put this book down once I started it and I cannot wait to see what the authors of Silver Springs have for us next.

City girl Neve is sent to Silver Springs by her father. Her mission is to turn Silver Springs human newspaper into a profitable business. Neve will do anything she can to turn it around, if she doesn't her father will probably stick her in some menial job in one of her companies where he can keep an eye on her. Neve is also a witch, one who hasn't really been shown how to do magic, so when she tries things always go wrong.

I actually really felt for Neve, she may seem like a stuck up, city girl to start with but her dad is pretty mean and always putting pressure on her. The guys are absolutely perfect for her and bring out the best in her. It's a brilliant story from start to finish, and I can't wait to see what else the authors of this world bring to the table.

Lighthearted yet heavily emotion driven

Neve, a witch with unreliable magic, is sent to Silver Springs to oversee Gazette, the human focused newspaper that her father purchased in hopes of forcing her to grow up. As the story progresses she realizes that the situation is not as dreadful as she thought, she finds herself drawn to four males for different reasons, and just when one aspect of her life starts to get settled another blows up. Helen Scott’s addition to the Silver Skates series is lighthearted yet heavily emotion driven. I can’t wait to see what happens to this group next.

I read this book with my Kindle Unlimited subscription and I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
