Born in Leeds, I lived a very normal life until I got bored one day and decided to travel the world. Since then I've worked on a Banana Plantation, cleaned ACDC's dressing room and been a professional clown.
I climbed to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and the top of Kilimanjaro. Nowadays you'll find me being a climbing frame for my two young children, working in a school, and renovating my home.
Did I also mention I wrote some books?
I hope you enjoy them!

An interesting turn on the already strained journey for the 12 demi-gods that are trying to save their kingdoms.

The stakes have been raised and more players have entered the fray. This is not your normal fairytale so beware!

A very good combination to the series. Quick to read and east to follow along. The characters all have a different personality so it's easy to tell who is who and develop your own favorite. A very easy book to get right into.

After the run-in with Rumpelstiltskin, the group starts to split up and argue, climaxing with Castiel leaving and diminishing the collateral magical abilities of the heirs. Moreover, Derillen is fast on their track, managing even to create a magic-proof jail upfront where most of them end up imprisoned - and if not for Eliana's mother and one good old lady, they might have fallen in the witch's hands already. This way, the quest continues, even if the group is no longer together..
Entertaining and suspenseful fast read, continuing the main story arc from the perspective of Azia, intertwined with Derillen's POV. Seeing the story a bit from the side of the villain is exciting, and the first disagreements in the demigod group brings more tension into the story. I love the flow of this book and the whole year-long journey, sad to see them almost go.

You knew it wasn't going to be easy but it seems like these kids just can't catch a break! Together they have power, together they are unbeatable....but it is staying together that is the challenge!

I love how this book picked up so many threads from previous books and wove them into the the challenges the siblings face in this book. Lots more back story on Derillin too. The true conflict at the base of the entire series is starting to become clear.

2nd book in the final season of the Kingdom of Fairytales books, book 50 overall. There is enough back story you could read this final season on its own, but it is so much better if you made it here by way of reading the 12 sibling's stories. Do read the books within the season in order as they do follow in chronological order and build on each other.

Unexpected

We now have parallel stories with the siblings and Derillen. There is another surprise obstacle in the last chapter. Azia is showing the stress of being the first in this quest. Uncertainty is certainly running through all.

Things seem hopeless. Utterly hopeless. Derillen and her band of bad witches and such are so strong. So clever.

Oh my goodness, that was awesome! Wonderful story, which had me on the edge of my seat there, at the end!
