An absolute masterpiece of metacriticism. A prescient razor that can continue slicing deep today as "Beijingologists" are replacing "Kremlinologists" concomitant with Xi's cultural offensive reaching a new fever pitch. Worth reading cover to cover for anyone interested in soft power during the Cold War and it's latest deployments throughout Cold War 2.0. Ebook available for free at archive.org.
