Bluegrass Dynasty Series #4

Planning An Addition

Rate this book
He'd had a secret for years. And it was time for it to come out.

Dating two younger men! Molly Walters never thought she'd be that woman, one of those "cougars" everybody talks about. Peyton Stokes, wounded warrior and one of Tony Walters' employees, is the perfect man. She decides to ask him out, and to her delight, he accepts. And once he admits he was already considering asking her for a date, sparks fly. Then former cage fighter turned security specialist Jose Flores, Peyton's much-younger best friend, asks her out too, and Molly decides to go. She knows full well what kind of disaster she's creating by dating best friends, but she just can't help herself. Between Peyton's powerful build and bright blue eyes, and Jose's dark, almost-sinister beauty, Molly is seduced on all levels by both men, much to her delight.

As the relationships deepen, Molly comes to a startling conclusion: She wants them both. That's fine with Jose, because he's got a secret he's never been able to tell Peyton, and this turn of events just might make all his dreams come true. But as soon as the truth comes out, things fall apart faster than anyone could've ever imagined.

Is it true that blood's thicker than water? If the relationship disaster wasn't enough, there's a horrible set of circumstances in Jose's family of origin that thrust him into the biggest crisis of his life. When it becomes obvious that his very existence is in jeopardy, Peyton must decide if the self-imposed labels he's clung to all his life are worth enough to him to risk losing his best friend forever. It'll take a real man to take that leap of faith, and Peyton's not sure he's that man, but failing could cost him the love of his life - maybe even both of them.

As Peyton struggles, Nikki Walters grows weaker and hope grows dim. Tony and his broken heart can't survive without her, but he may not have any choice. When Nonna Annamaria steps in to help, Tony calls on the last tiny bit of faith he has. Unfortunately, chances are really good that it won't be enough, and his one true love will leave them all forever. And that's a prospect he can't bear to face.

Favorite Quotes:

“While you’re sitting around scared that somebody might think you’re gay, Jose and Molly will be creating memories the two of them can share. And you’ll be collecting Star War figurines and watching ‘Golden Girls’ marathons.”

“Love who you love. Don’t worry about what anyone else thinks. Your regrets? No one takes them to the grave but you.”

“Peyton, if there’s someone available to love us, that’s one more person we have to love.”

My Review:

My heart was feeling a definite squeeze throughout this read. I have followed this series from the beginning, and started reading this book with the bittersweet knowledge that it was the last of its kind - the end of an era. I have enjoyed reading about and living with this large and unusual family in my head, and am still grieving a bit at having to say good-bye to them. But OMG - what a farewell it was! In addition to the emotional aerobics, sizzling sensual scenes, suspense, and drama… my mind was blown, the pea rattling around in my brain was burned to a crisp. Ms. Hall presents her characters’ unusual choices and situations in such an insightful and sensible manner, that their inventive, yet unconventional solutions, ultimately seem to be the best possible and most logical outcome for those involved. My, oh my, what a hot potato this turned out to be. Deanndra Hall most certainly out did herself with this volume. No spoilers here, but it was exceptional, a well-plotted, heartbreaking, perceptive, and well-written story. I would love for her to continue with this family, it is large enough for her to go on with them forever, which would suit me just fine.

I loved this book! The epic conclusion to the Love Under Construction series does not disappoint! As much as I did not want this series to end, Deanndra Hall has out done herself in this one. There are so many story lines to be tied up and this was done beautifully in this book. The focus on Molly, Peyton, and Jose is incredible. Their joy is only tempered by the sadness surrounding Nikki's decline with her cancer. Every emotion possible went through me, and I am glad I had a fresh box of Kleenex. The Walters family has become almost real to me, the writing is so good, they feel like they are a part of your own. The characters are so richly described, so perfectly human, with strengths and weaknesses, it is utterly amazing. This is a series that I will read over and over, I just cannot get enough of them!
Nikki is going through Chemo for her liver cancer, and everything that can happen does. She is so ill that she even scares the grandchildren and Tony is having to face the realization that he is going to lose her. Molly is ready to move forward and date again now that she is divorced from Freddie. Peyton has been watching Nikki get sicker and he realizes that he wants a love like Tony and Nikki's. He is afraid that a woman would not want him because of his missing leg. Before he can ask, Molly invites him to have dinner with her. Despite his being younger than Molly, he is so excited because he thinks she is just so beautiful. Her warmth and caring allow him to regain his self esteem, and things are moving forward. Jose is at his wits end because his sister is mistreating their younger brother and sisters. He needs to get them away from her, but he doesn't know how. On top of that, he is attracted to Molly, despite their 17 year age difference. Boldly, he asks her out. To his amazement, she says yes. They are sizzling together, and Molly is torn. What can possibly happen when they find out about each other? She does not want to give up either of them. Things take a tragic turn, and secrets from Jose's past threaten everything. Peyton's fear leads this story to incredible places. Can the friends and family come together to save one of their own? Will Jose's situation end up touching far more lives than one could ever believe? Will the secrets that are revealed help or hurt?
So much happens in this book that it is impossible to mention everything. This is what I love about these books, it's like a season of your favorite TV series in each one. And this book tops them all! There are so many lessons to learn about strength, love, acceptance, grief, and life, that you will come away with a positive understanding of the human condition. And a realization that deep down, love is love. Everyone just wants to be cared for and treasured. That there is no right or wrong way to life. Each of us needs to seek their own truth, and that life is fragile, do not waste a single minute of it. This book blew me away and I cannot wait to see what this incredible author comes up with next! Grab a copy and settle in for an awesome conclusion to this amazing series!

Planning An Addition is another top notch book in a top notch series. I'm sooo sad that the series is ending, but I'm looking forward to the spin off series that is coming.

The entire Walters Clan have become so near and dear to me, it was gut-wrenching to see the things Nikki and Tony went through.

Throughout this series I have laughed, cried, screamed, swooned, cringed, wanted to smack several someones, and wanted to throw my kindle right out the window. I HATED Steve from the get go, even though I felt bad for what happened to him in The Groundbreaking, and by the end of the series I have come to love him just as much as the others. That is one of Deanndra's gifts as a writer, her ability to take a less than stellar character and make him a star, but not before there is a lot of turmoil, heartbreak and smackdowns :-).

The best thing about this series for me has always been the fact that the characters are a bit older (like myself). I don't know about all of you out there, but when I was in my 20's I wasn't having the smoking hot sex that is ever so popular in romance/erotica now days, but now, in my 40's its a whole different ball game. And I think that holds true for a lot of people. Another thing that hooked me from the start was the incredible family unit found in these books, and family is not just by blood relations, family does not just mean, brothers & sisters etc. It includes everyone you care about. The love everyone has for the people they consider family in this series is endearing and makes me long to make my own family unit closer than we are.

I know this review really hasn't been much about the book Planning An Addition - so on to that. Planning An Addition was the most absolute perfect ending to a series I have ever read. There was closure of some sort for everything. Planning An Addition brings the entire Love Under Construction Series full circle. And we finally get to see Molly (who was horrible in the beginning) finally become a happy and whole person that no longer wears her unhappiness on her sleeve. We also get into the head of Peyton and Jose - who have always been present in the series, but never elaborated on in depth, I always wondered how Peyton lost his leg. Like I said the perfect conclusion to the series, and it will also keep you guessing until the very end.

Deanndra Hall has created a family that faces the same struggles as everyone else and handles what life throws at them with poise and grace.

Molly Walters is the ex-sister-in-law of Tony Walters. His brother, Freddie, traded Molly in for a newer, younger model, and in doing so, shattered her self-confidence. Having no where else to turn, Molly turns to Tony, who gives her a job with his company and does his best to make sure that Molly knows that she always has been, and will remain, part of the Walters family.

As Molly's self-confidence begins to return, she takes quite a liking to Peyton Stokes. Peyton is the manager at Tony's horse farm and a bit younger than she is. As she begins to gather nerves to ask Peyton out, he surprises her by asking her on a date. Overjoyed at being asked out, she's pleasantly surprised when Jose' Flores, the sexy man who works for Citadel Security. She's older than him and never believes that he will ever be interested in her - a woman past her prime.

Wanting to have her fun, she sets out to date each man separately and without them knowing about the other - quite a feat since they are roommates. As she begins to fall in love with both men, she can't imagine her life without both of them. Knowing that she can't continue to lead both men on this way, she makes a move, which will change her life forever.

Peyton Stokes is a man who came back from war scarred and disabled. Its taken him a long time to get used to his prosthetic leg, but he has made great strides and no longer feels as tho as he's on the outside looking in. He's been interested in Molly for a long time and finally works up the nerve to ask her out and is overjoyed when she says yes.

Jose' Flores is tired, overworked and consumed with giving his three younger siblings a better life. He's sending all the money he can to his sister in Chicago to take care of them, but it never seems to be enough. Tired of being alone, he takes a chance on Molly and can't wait to see where she leads him.

During this story, we also catch with Nikki and Tony and follow Nikki's journey with cancer. The Walters family features prominently in this story, along with Steve and wife Kelley.

This story is filled with lots of love, angst, and tears for all of the couples, not just Nikki and Tony. I sincerely hope we see more of the Walters family.

~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads Review Team~

I love this series; it is one of the best written series ever! I was so excited to read this book. I think I was so excited that I felt let down when I read it. There was so much going on in this book that it just seemed like too much at times, I think some things got pushed to the side and could have been expanded on and possibly even another book. I loved the whole dynamics between Peyton, Jose and Molly, that story was amazing and I feel like it was just tied up too fast to deal with Nikki’s illness. I loved how Peyton and Jose dealt with their situation. Nikki’s illness was horrible, everyone felt like they were dying and even as a reader reading it you felt the same way. Don’t get me wrong, I really liked the book, it was just a lot going on and I think some characters got lost in the shuffle of all the story lines. I can’t wait to read the next series and I hope we get to see some of our beloved characters again.

Characters: The characters were well written and believable.

Sex: yes

Religious: no

Would I recommend to others: yes

More than one book in the series: yes

Genre: Romance, M/M/F and M/M

Would I read more by this author: yes

"I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads."

Sob, sob - what an emotional last book, in what has been a wonderful series. I am definitely adding them to my reread pile - probably curled up by the fire this Christmas. So much going on that a marathon will bring forgotten elements together.

I loved this final story - ever since the dramatic ending of Renovating a Heart, I have been on tenterhooks wanting to know what happened ... and Ms Hall keeps her cards very close to her chest ... tissue moments aplenty for me! A number of loose ends get neatly ties up, in the most unexpected ways and we get to hear news of the whole extended family.

I would imagine that most readers will have started the series really not liking Molly, but by now she has redeemed herself in the main - and clearly in Ms Hall's view - as she gets quite the most exciting opportunities for love in this book. It is difficult to say more without spoilers, but she is a lucky lady! The main plot is hot, frightening and enlightening. In all the drama, the value of family, loyalty and love always take centre stage.

Thank you for a wonderful series, and I look forward to the next one!

The last of the Walters saga? Well, maybe as a series. This wonderful story has followed the members of the Walters family and they have dealt with the obstacles of every day life.

I this concluding installment, the story places its focus on Tony and Nikki as they battle Nikki's cancer. It also focuses in depth into Molly's life after Freddie (good riddance), Peyton and Jose.

This is a complex plot line with many tentacles. Just like real life, there all sorts of changes and complications to either embrace or deal with.

Just like in all of her other books, the writing is superb. Deandra Hall makes these characters so real you could almost hear them breathe and cry. The descriptions are detailed, the complexities are just like the ones we face each and every day of our lives, but below the surface the undercurrent is of a family that deeply loves its members (by blood or adopted). They truly love each other and at any sign of stress or trouble, they all band together to solve the problems.

Be forewarned the explicit sexual content in this story may not be appropriate for everyone. This series evolved as real as our current times demand. Bisexuality, BDSM, multiple partners in a relationship, drug addiction, etc. are part of our every day life now. This series deals with all of these issues in a sensitive and loving way.

Thanks to Wicked Reads for a free book to read and review. While there are a few things in this book that are not my cup of tea, I still enjoyed the ending of this series. M/M interaction has never been a strong suit for me unless there is a girl, this book has several scenes just m/m. Tears wet my eyes as the final ending unfolded, and I was beyond moved. I would definitely read more by this author, and overall enjoyment was five stars. I loved this family and the characters were very easy to know. I'm glad Molly got a book, she deserved every minute of it.

I was given an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. This review appears on my blog, In Patti's Imagination, and will also appear on Amazon.

What a great ending to the series! This story was absolutely my favorite one in the series. It's hard to say just why - maybe it's that the love triangle aspect of the narrative never felt wrong, maybe it's because I was happy for Molly to finally get what she deserved (which, basically, was anything but horrible Freddie!), or maybe it's because, once again, this story features a soldier. I am such a sucker for a solider!

As with all the other books in the series, this one had many ups and downs. Why the half-star dock here? Well, up until the end, I wasn't sure if I'd simultaneously empathize with Deanndra as a writer while also hating her as a reader. But, she pulled me back from the brink, so it's a solid 9.5 for me (which, divided by two, rounds up to five because I did really love the story). The emotions in this book were right at the surface all the time, and yet, the action didn't suffer for it. One of the things I loved about this series was that it melds so many different genres - romantic suspense, romance, erotica, even a little bit of women's fiction.

I'm excited for what Deanndra has in store next in this world. I'll definitely keep reading! If you're not afraid of graphic sex (especially stuff that's NOT vanilla), but really prefer your stories to have substance, be sure to check out this series! Check out my ratings on the other books in the series on Goodreads and Amazon.

WOW!!! Deanndra Hall did it again! I've said it before and I'll say it again. The emotions I feel while reading this book are intense! I have laughed, been scared, happy, and bawled my eyes out while reading Planning An Addition. So much emotion and passion went into it and it's so easily felt! This was an EPIC conclusion to the Love Under Construction series. Throughout the whole series one main theme is strong... LOVE ... and this book is no different except it really drives home what love is. Not all love is romantic, not all love lasts, not all love is traditional but, that doesn't mean it's wrong and How are you going to know if you do not give it a chance. With love comes struggle, heartbreaks, happiness, and best of all memories. That's what you get reading this. I highly recommend not only this book, but the whole series. So many people think, oh its erotica, it's just written porn. I say this... yes this book is erotic and hot it gives you a tightness and tingle that are hard to ignore, but you lose yourself into the story and the characters. I love the Walters family ALL of them! Deanndra Hall is an amazing author! 50 Shades of Grey is no where as erotic and amazing as this series!!

Planning an addition is the bittersweet semi ending to this series and i was sad to see this portion come to an end but i have a feeling that it is not the last we hear from the Walters gang!!
Love Molly ,Jose and Peyton!!!
Molly is a fifty something with grown children and divorced from a complete douche nozzle!!! She wants to start dating but she isn't sure if she is ready until one day she throws caution to the wind and asks Peyton out! Peyton accepts of course because he was leaning toward the same, Jose who is the best friend also is interested in Molly asks her out and of course she accepts!!
This is the start of a very interesting triangle until Love get involved and Menage time baby!! This was my favorite book in the series because it follows Tony and the gang through some troubled times and i am telling you that i laughed cried and threw my kindle a few times!! There is suspense, Angst and lots and lots of crazy hot sex!!!
Moral of the story is love can conquer ALL and ALWAYS have an open mind!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

*****5 Emotional and Spectacular Ending Stars*****

Wow! I want to thank Alpha Book Club for giving me the opportunity to be able to read and review such an awesome series! I will be suffering from a massive book hangover for quite awhile. I am hoping that with the current new promotion of this series and reintroducing the very talented Deanndra Hall that everyone will get a chance to allow the Love Under Construction family into their hearts.

This installment is a little different in that in addition to telling the story of the last 3 characters, José, Molly and Peyton, it is also about the intense struggle Nikki, Tony and the rest of their family and friends go through with her diagnosis and treatment of cancer.

“Cancer doesn’t look at your relationship or your checkbook or your circumstances before it hits. It’s indiscriminate.

Molly begins to date both José and Peyton separately, unknownst to both of them. They are very different lovers. José is intense and introduces Molly into BDSM while Peyton is more laid back but equally talented.

There are parts of me that are on fire right now.” She giggled. “Good. I’ve got the hose to put them out.”

It had taken a separate planner, but she’d finally gotten it all worked out. Thursdays, Saturdays, and Mondays were “Peyton” days; Fridays, Sundays, and Tuesdays were “José” days. Wednesday was a quiet day she’d spend alone.

Inevitably they find out about each other, and although José is thrilled at the chance that they could all be together, Peyton takes a much different feeling. José, who is bi-sexual, has loved Peyton for many years and never dreamed he could be with him in a relationship. Peyton shuts them both out.

When José’s past come back to threaten him and his life and he goes missing, that's when Peyton realizes how strong his feelings for José are. But he doesn't want to think he is gay.

“My son, listen to my words. The heart wants what it wants, and it is usually the hardest thing to accomplish. It realizes good things never come without being earned. So it chooses the hardest path, and it is either devastated or successful.

José wants to take things to the next level with Peyton and he consents to try.

This is it, Peyton thought. This is officially the moment that I become gay. He almost started to laugh. He didn’t feel gay. He just felt loved.

He didn’t feel gay, or weird, or freaked out. He felt loved and accepted and, yeah, cherished by another man, a man who obviously cared for him and had for some time.

So what happens? Do Peyton, Molly and José become a ménage in a committed relationship? What becomes of José’s siblings? Does Nikki’s cancer succeed in leaving the entire family devastated with grief? These questions will be thoroughly answered and afterwards you will be struck by how much this family's story has imbedded itself into your heart. I eagerly await more from the awesomely talented Deanndra Hall!

I was pulled right into this story. The story has pain, secrets, drama, action, suspense, twists & turns and steam.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first
The Groundbreaking (Love Under Construction 0.5)
Laying a Foundation (Love Under Construction #1)
Tearing Down Walls (Love Under Construction, Book 2)
Renovating a Heart (Love Under Construction, #3)

This is Molly, Jose, and Peyton's story. After Molly gets divorced she is asked out by not one but two younger men. Only problem is they are best friends and they don’t know she is dating them both. They know she is dating another person but not who she is dating. When the truth comes out one man can’t handle it. He walks away. What happens when in order to be together they need the three of them not just two of them? Will they all have to go there separate ways? When one of the goes missing will they all step up to help? Or will he leave them with no help? Will he ever understand that they both love him and just want him to be happy? Will these three be able to figure it out before one of them is lost forever?

I loved these characters and also the side characters. I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book.

Wow! This has been an amazing series to read. I love all the characters and their stories. This was a great conclusion to it all. I've spent the last couple weeks with the LUC gang and absolutely loved every single book. This series was a great emotional roller coaster ride. It is so well written and so easy to connect with all the characters. I will not ruin it with leaving spoilers to how this series plays out. I will, however, say that this series is a definite must read. You're sure to fall in love them all!

I couldn’t wait for this book to be available as the 3rd book left us wondering about Nikki and her health. Her surgery, treatments, and condition are part of the entire book. This story covers so many things – love, friendship, finding ‘The One’, heartbreak, suspense, more love, heartbreak, etc.

Peyton has worked for Steve as security but has accepted a position at the new equestrian center for Tony. He hasn’t dated in years based on his war injury which is covered in an earlier book. He thinks that women won’t want him since he wears a prosthetic leg, which hurt me deeply. I hate for anyone to be treated less than they should be whether based on race, religion, ethnicity, sex, or otherwise, and I hated that he kept himself apart from having any female relationships and was lonely.

I was glad to see that after Molly’s divorce, she overcame her bitterness over the way her husband had treated her, and was a joy to be around. I was a little surprised at Peyton wanting to invite Molly on a date but she beats him to it. They hit it off and become close immediately. In the meantime, Jose starts to date Molly also, which gives Molly fits trying to figure out how to tell the two men. It was kind of funny with Peyton and Jose living together and when one was available, the other one wasn’t. Molly loves both men and they love her but when she manages to tell them both the truth, it doesn’t go very well. Peyton is 40 something and Jose is 36, so they are several years younger than Molly. Molly feels safe and loved with Peyton and wild with the Dom Jose. Jose is bi-sexual whereas Peyton is definitely heterosexual.

There are several very passionate and sensual sex scenes – some very loving and others just Hot, Hot, Hot with the bondage aspects!

There are some very suspenseful parts to this story with Jose needing to accept the care of his much younger brother and sisters, and how he gets drawn into a desperate situation. There is almost a Mission Impossible type plan with a kidnapping and almost everyone is involved in some way to recover the person. I was riveted and couldn’t flip my Kindle fast enough during this roller coaster ride.

There was definitely a struggle for Peyton throughout this story due to how much he loves Molly and Jose has been a good friend, but he just can’t accept the changes. He struggles because he has always been heterosexual and never thought of himself as being bisexual or gay. His parents suggest that he accept love no matter how it comes. He has been alone so long that I could just feel his pain and I couldn’t figure out how the situation could be resolved. You just never know what people are dealing with in their lives and how it affects them. But it just takes one person to show some understanding and love to help overcome so many issues.

I was so upset over Nikki’s health throughout the book as she slowly declined. I just knew that Nonna Cabrizzi would use her magic and bring her back to health but it was getting closer and closer to the end of the book! It was so difficult to see how all of the family and friends loved Nikki and watch her lose more and more weight. I had tears in my eyes through several parts of this story as Deanndra just made me feel the many emotions of so many of the characters. My favorite, Vic, loves Nikki and can’t bear to see her suffer. It just broke my heart to read about the heartbreak of so many.

And there are children, lots of children! I won’t give the details but it was wonderful to see how these children, who needed a safe and loving environment, are taken in and loved by all. The Walters and Cabrizzi’s families, along all of the friends who have become extended family, accept everyone and show such an enormous capacity for love. I want to be part of this group!

I just couldn’t figure out how everything would work out and not make me want to throw my Kindle (which I wouldn’t do but I wanted to throw something at times) but it was amazing how Deanndra wrote a realistic and believable ending. I wanted all of the characters to find their HEA and sometimes what the reader wants, isn’t exactly how the story works out, but Deanndra made it even better.

I have now read the prequel and the 4 novels in this Love Under Construction series. Deanndra writes compelling and well-developed characters. There are several different storylines interwoven into an intriguing story that just draws you in and you feel like these people are your friends and loved ones. I highly recommend this compelling series.

As much as I adore this series, and absolutely LOVE this book, I'm so incredibly sad that this series is over.
Love Under Construction is my favorite series ever, and that's saying something as much as I read!!
I fell head over heels in love with the Walter's family from book one, the biggest draw initially was the fact that these are not 20 somethings, these characters are my age and older, 40's adults who have loved and lost, who are learning to live again, or love again or just to live for themselves for the first time in years. (Yes Peyton and Jose are a bit younger but still 30's)
There's so much wrapped up in these books that comes to an end with Planning an Addition.
Tony & Nicky's relationship struggles and watching it grow throughout the series brings us to book 4 where they are struggling with something that could be the end of them. (yes I know, very vague but no spoilers!!)
While we have the entire family and extended family included in the final book, the main focus is on Peyton, Jose and Molly.
We get Peyton's back story, questions I've had about him are answered, and Molly, how I disliked her early on she's won my heart as well.
I've come to accept her earlier behavior due to the life she lived with Freddy. She as well as Steve were two of my most disliked characters, especially Steve, but thanks to the amazing writing of Ms. Hall I love them both now.
The secondary story is Nicki & Tony's fight. It's so heartbreaking, at times I honestly did not want to continue reading, I was afraid of what was going to happen to them.
I thought I cried during the other books, nothing prepared me for the river of tears I would cry during this one, an not just the quiet occasional blurry eyes, I mean full on ugly crying.
I expected emotional because Deanndra Hall is just so damn good at it, but I did not expect to feel so much for so many of the characters, I laughed with them, cried with them and at times was yelling at my kindle, saying there was no way the book to end like this, praying something would change.

No matter what I say my review cannot do this book justice.
I suggest everyone read this series, it's so worth it, the writing is so good, you get sucked into each and every characters lives and at times be emotionally drained after reading. But in the end each and every one of these books will make you look back and smile, and Planning an Addition pulls everything together for an ending you wouldn't have seen coming from book one.
I'm still sad that there won't be another book but all good things much come to an end.

Mousiey has a wonderful book for you. I rec'd an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest opinion. And here is my honest opinion of "PLANNING AN ADDITION " by DEANNDRA HALL. Ms Hall is a wonderful and very talented writer. This book is the conclusion to the Love Under Construction series. Planning an Addition is book # 4 in the series. and I have to recommend that you get all four of these wonderful books and follow the Walker family. But I am getting ahead of myself. Let me say the way that Ms Hall writes and describes her characters are so well defined and are with such depth and soul. Each character she brings alive on paper. You don't think of them As characters of a book, you begin to think of them as actual people. The scenes she writes about are are detailed and described that she brings them to life. You actually can picture the where each person in the story is and what and where they are or how doing something.
Now as for this story itself. It starts off with Peyton Strokes not everything believing that he could find a woman that he could love or that would love him. But one such woman has caught his eye and her name is Molly Walker- before he has a chance to ask her out she asks him out. Then even before they have there first date Jose Flores ask Molly out. Now Molly being Molly says yes. She is now seeing two men at the same time with the other not knowing about the other. Each man satisfies her differently but completely. She wants them both. Now while Molly is seeing both of these guys Nikki is going through a major health problem. The doctors have just told her an Tony that she has cancer. She has to start taking chemo and then radiation treatments. Now back to Molly an her two gents - she finally decides to tell them both about the other one in her life . It has so many twist an turns in it - You never know what is going to happen next. I am going to leave you with these questions.- What happens between the Molly-Peyton and Jose triangle?? And does Nikki live or die at the end ?? This is one book you really need to read !!! Due to the context of the book , I recommend it for adults only. I also give this book a solid 30 stars out of 5 . Now what are you waiting for GO GET YOUR COPY NOW!!!! AT AMAZON!!!!

Deanndra Hall has done it again!!!! This is an amazing conclusion to her Love Under Construction Series! I don't even know where to start...... This book takes you on one of the highest emotional rollercoasters I have read in 2014! I went from laughing to crying and then thought I might need Sham-wow panties from the steam coming from the book. This book does a great job at wrapping up all the characters from the series, but also gives you a deeper look into some characters that you may not know much about! Tony and Nikki are still the same amazing couple as you have come to know and love. The things that test them in this book are things that so many people can relate to, and it will have you wanting to cuss, scream, and cry!

Peyton, Jose, and Molly are characters that you get a more in depth look into. I loved getting to know them even if I wanted to slap all 3 of them at one point or another!

Peyton absolutely stole my heart! Vic has always been my favorite in this series but Peyton gave him a good run! He is the perfect man! Super sweet and loving. When he falls he goes all in and has no problems showing it.

Jose took a little time for me to fall in love with, but he ended up breaking my heart with his story. There were times that I wanted to just pull him out of the book and hug him and tell him everything was going to be okay!

What do you say about Molly? I will start off with I have not liked Molly since the beginning of the series and the most of this book I wanted to slap her around. As I got to really know her and understand her I would have to say she grew on me a little bit. Now I can see where she is coming from.

You also get to see all your other favorite characters such as Vic, Laura, Steve, Kelly,Clayton, Brittany, Annabeth, Katie, and many more! The whole gang is here!

Im not sure how Deanndra does it but she will suck you into her books and won't let go. She is absolutely amazing at what she does and is in my top 5 favorite authors of all time!

This whole series is a must read in my opinion but especially this book. Even though the year is not over I will say this is my # 1 book of 2014!

I've been waiting on pins and needles for this book! To say that I'm invested in these characters and their lives is a mild understatement. The minute I got this book, I dived right in. For the first third of the book I was somewhat confused and disappointed because the writing style seemed rushed and chaotic. The author seemed to be in a huge hurry to get this story moving along. This is a style that was very different from what I've come to expect from this author. I stopped reading and started thinking about the other books in the series and their writing style. It didn't take me long to realize that I was the one rushing the story and that my own anticipation was going to ruin the story for me. I was reading the book in a hurry and rushing to devour it and missing a lot of important context. So I put it down, walked away for a bit, then I started over. I'm so glad I did this. I really had missed so much in my hurry to catch up with the people in the stories. There was so much going on in this book! The emotional spectrum covered in this book is insane! From laughing, chuckling, giggling, all the way to ugly crying, heartbroken crying. You can only cry so many times while reading a book before the hubby thinks you've gone insane. True story. From the very start of this series Tony has been my favorite. He still is. Others have tried and failed to take his place. Nope. All Tony, all mine! Now I have to try and forgive the author for what she tried to do to my poor Tony. She tried to break my Tony! Do you know how long it's going to take me to recover from that??? Nuff said there. The unfolding story between Jose, Molly, and Peyton is intense and a bit risky to say the least. And hot, of course, don't forget the HOT! There is a lot for this crew to overcome and learn before they can find their way. It makes me a bit sad to think that this is the last book in this series. Thank goodness we can go back and reread the books we love, yes?

Molly Walters was labeled as the bitch in the Walters Clan. No one liked her because of her horrible attitude but then again no one knew how miserable she was. Putting up with Freddy's infidelity for years. After being blind sided with a divorced, and she had to look after herself. Yet she had forgotten that once you are in the Walters Clan you will never be alone. With the help of Tony and Vic Molly had a house and a good job. But she was missing something that she had never had love, passion, lust, and she was ready to sees the day.

Payton Stokes was excellent at his job, working for Steve's security firm. Being a war veteran was not something that he was proud especially since he became a veretan by loosing a leg. Payton had a hard time dating, woman had a problem with him having a bionic leg and that made him re-think about his dating status. But there was a certain woman that had him loosing his sleep and he was going to make a move on Ms. Molly Walters.

Jose Flores, was Payton's best friend and co-worker. Jose never had a problem letting everyone know that he was bisexual and he was proud of it. Having family problems he was glad he had such a great friends that he could count on. Seeing Tony and Nikki and Vic and Laura he started thinking he wanted to have a relationship with someone that will understand him and Ms. Molly Walters was looking mighty fine this day. Jose decided to ask her out and see where that lead to. He hoped it worked out because he really wanted to be with her.

Molly will get what she always wanted but at what cost. Could she have her cake and eat it too? Who will end up with their heart broken?

I was very interested about the plot on this book, I love how on this story a female finally plays the field like man had done it for so long.

You will not want to put the book down once you start reading it.

I recommend this book and the whole series.

I was gifted a copy by author for an honest review.

This is the 4th book in the Love Under Construction Series and its recommended to read the others first to get the full affect!

Molly Walters use to be married to Freddie until he left her for a very younger girl, having no where else to go she turns to his brother Tony Walters and he hires her at his company. She can't believe when she is asked out by not 1 but 2 young men that she has the hots for.

Jose is a tall muscular man who is working himself to the ground providing everything he can for his 3 younger siblings.

Peyton returns from the Army after he was wounded by a bomb. He is suffering with only having one leg he feels less of a man and is scared no women will want him.

Molly just wanting to have fun she decides to date them both and see where and who she likes, but one things leads to another and she falls for them both. Knowing its wrong she tells them both what she has been doing, but once she comes clean she is terrified to find out what happens now.

This story will leave you wanting and wanting more! I was completely blown away every time I thought I knew what was happening Deanndra threw in more twist and turns. This by far is my favorite book by Deanndra.

To top off the love I have for this book you also get to see how the other characters are and whats been happening.

Well deserved 5 Stars!!

This was the perfect ending to a great series. We get to see Molly finally have her happy ending with two hot guys Peyton and José.

I liked Molly from the beginning of the series even though she was mean to a lot of the family I knew there had to be a reason and her ex-husband Freddie turned out to be a real jerk no wonder she hated the world. Once she lands on her feet we get to see the real loving person that she is.

I liked José but I feel like there could have been more to him, I didn't love him as much as I did Molly and Peyton and I'm not quite sure why, his story was interesting and sad but I'm really happy that he was able to take in his brother and sisters, nephew and niece. I loved how gave Laura and Vic the family they deserved.

Peyton was by far my favorite he had so many insecurities that he had to break through and I loved the fact that his Chinese adoptive parents showed him how to love based on the person and not on blood or looks. I loved that he thought his amputation was a curse instead of a blessing when in reality everyone loved him and treated him like the war hero he is.

And last I'm so happy about the ending of the book, a beloved character was ill and we were left on a cliffhanger at the end of Renovating a Heart and in this book we finally get to find out what happens to this character and it will make your cry.

4.5 star

Let me start out by saying that if you haven't read the rest of the series, you're really missing out, these are not stand alone books.

Hall fits so many well written characters into one book, most have a main couple that they focus on but Hall manages to share the spotlight.

Planning An Addition starts out in a life or death situation, Nikki's in the operating room as Tony and the rest of the group wait anxiously. Her struggle and pain are heartbreaking, and Tony's caring for her will melt any heart that you have left. Everyone going through the fight should have a support system as strong as this one.

Molly, Peyton and Jose, what a tangled web they weave... only time will tell how this one turns out.

Jose's kidnapping is an interesting twist, as is Peyton's reaction. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what happened. The group pulling together to help Jose is great, everyone needs friends like that.

Fantastic twists and plots, Hall will hook you and not let go. This story has an ending that left me holding the book going "woah". I sincerely hope this isn't the last we'll be hearing from the group, I'm addicted to this series.

“Those lips parted and their tongues met. Peyton lost in the kiss, just gone. It was hot and sweet and precious and he felt a hand on his leg.”

5 love is love stars!! By far my favorite book in the whole series!!!

Deanndra Hall has done it again… what you ask?? She’s wrote another sinfully sexy book with heart!! I fell in love with Peyton, Molly, and Jose and their story!! It’s beautifully written and such class and grace!! But I will say that the sexy scenes will leave you fanning yourself and gasping for air, they are that hot!!

Deanndra Hall has knocked another one out of the ball park!!! This is the final in the Love Under Construction Series and boy is the perfect ending to the series. This book focuses on Molly Walters, Jose Flores and Peyton Stokes. Molly wants to move on with her life and takes the chance asking out Peyton. Then to her surprise Jose ends up asking her out. She is torn between two men that are friends and roommates. Molly finds herself in a tough spot with two completely different men and doesn't want to hurt either, but knows she has to make a choice that will hurt someone in the end. Take a chance with this book. Look beyond the M/M in this book as that is not all that we get in this book. We still get some suspense along with the really hot scenes that we all know Deanndra is great at writing. Get get your copy today along with the rest in the series. You will be pulling all night readings with these books cause you will want to know how the story is going to end.

Planning and Addition by Deanndra Hall really did a number on my emotions. I was heartbroken so many times throughout the book that I did not know if I was going to be able to finish it. It was that intense. I loved every minute of it. I actually stayed up until 3 in the morning just so that I could find out if one of my all time favorite characters was going to make it. I also wanted to know what was going to happen to between Peyton, Jose, and Molly. That is all the details I am going to give on this book. Book hangover does not even begin to describe how I felt after finishing this story. Deanndra sure knows how to keep a reader pulled into the story. There was not anything that was going to get in my way or distract me from getting my answers and woe to anyone that tried.

I give this book 5 stars. I am sad to see this series end, so I think I will reread it. This book (the whole series) is one that you will be telling everyone about. This includes strangers on the street.

Amazing! Planning an Addition, fourth book of the Under Construction Series, brings readers into a world of powerful emotions where everyone is free to love whomever they choose. Though this book needs to be read after reading the other books in the series, Deanndra Hall balances her storyline between the main plot and the series’ plot rather well. This novel’s plot calls for a gigantic character development for Peyton Stokes and, with the help of Molly Walters and his bestfriend, Jose, Hall manages it remarkably, widening the reader’s perspective about love and relationships. Nikki Walter’s health problem acts as a major catalyst in this book, which also happens to be the concluding book of the series, paving the way for tucking loses ends in some characters, including, but not limited to, Vic and Steve.

I was given an e-copy of the book by Drew’s Random Chatter for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review. All conclusions are my own responsibility.
