better than iexpected! especially the latter half of the story. i truly didn’t expect this to have such an endearing ending, though. what was a nice surprise!
i’d say this whole ordeal’s been a mildly redeemable version of stockholm syndrome. what i usually consider the most when rating something is the final outcome—not necessarily the way we got there. (although that depends, too.) given that both FL and ML seemed pretty damn content by the time we reached the end of this story, i don’t feel like i need to criticize anyone’s choices anymore. even though the ML could’ve handled things MUCH better in the start, it’s not something we can change or just erase. what’s done is done. FL loves him and is happy with him. i see no indicators that ML will turn back on his behavior towards her now that she’s fully accepted him. he’ll most DEFINITELY treat her like a queen, lmao. anyway, i don’t want to romanticize coercion or manipulation. i just feel like that doesn’t have that much of an affect on the way she viewed him once she found out his identity.
i throughly (and unexpectedly) enjoyed this manhwa—despite me only checking it out for the smut initially, lol. stayed for the plot development and emotional intrigue, though!!! (even if there weren’t a lot of either.)
7/10 for capturing my interest!

I like the drawing style. And that's the only thing I liked. I didn't expect much from the text. But the content turned out to be even worse than I thought.
I'm pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed reading this a lot.
I read the webtoon and liked it very much but it declined its charm at the end so... I wasn't looking for the novelization version and read it just to check a name on my list and I'm happy I did that!
The story is basically the same of course but here we can know the main leads a little bit more, much more dare I say, which kept me reading and then there 'are after stories' and they were hmmm different and nerving to read so the story had something else compared to the adaptation! I do recommend this but mostly if you liked the webtoon, otherwise it can be confusing.
If you are discouraged just from reading negative reviews, first give it a try yourself. I was like this before , perhaps would have missed a gem. People complained about Saye but I don't think every fl has to be super baddass. Given the circumstances, I think she did better than any other fl in a similar plot.🤔
The hero is utterly obsessed although there are some things that could have been much better written in the end chapters, since being such a short novel I guess it was fine.
The backstory was just 🔥 and also loved the side stories. If you are into this genre don't let negative comments affect you ☺️
Even if this manhwa is a smut, I like how the story line also stood out. Especially the fight between the father and the son. Although this is a short manhwa, the story progress doesn't seem rush or slow, it was executed properly. This manhwa also has one of the beautiful art style but if I'm going to rank the smut, I can say that it was an average.
This ended up being sweeter than expected. Sayeh (FL) and Kainer's (ML) relationship started out rather rocky but with time, they were able to learn more about each other and it turned out that Kainer truly loved Sayeh and he wasn't just another insatiable sultan.
