This is the 16th book in a wonderful series. the Korean's attack with an EMP, and an army vet comes out of a year long camping trip to find a completely different world. Starting off with saving the caretaker and some "stayed over the vacation" ladies, we find that mere survival branches out into a larger "family" and then a Community with Responsibility. Dealing with various bad guys, cannibals', slavers, and wannabe dictators in order to establish a stable and decent community sort of falls on those who are best suited to do it. Here we have the "results" of a run in with the North Koreans, and discoveries which once again require action, and how the community responds.

Never ever disappoints...ever
Great summary of preparations..thankfully we know what effort was put in to getting ready for the big trip..we see the small army and how they mesh.we get all the information explained as to what Tav this is are the obsticals and again..Eric has us sitting on the edge of our seats..l know every plan falls apart when facing the enemy , but l can't wait for first contact with U.S. troops.hopefully there's not a bunch of asshats in charge...hurry next book.please..

Great series!!!
Tav and the girls have built a community that is strong and willing to risk it all to take on the NK threatening to attack US forces resisting the invasion. They begin prepping to head south ahead oh the NKs to stop the NK forces headed south. The story continues to be well written and with character s that I've grown to care about. I'm anxiously waiting for the next book!.

Eric Call continues to produce !
I give Without Law 5 stars because this is, to me, the best of his series I have read. While complicated, Eric manages to keep everything logical. Recommend adults who don't mind lots ox sex to read this series. I look forward eagerly to future volumes.

Wow Really
See you cannot do this crap to me man... I read a book, and it just ends and I have to wait for it to come out again.. Damn good book.. Story is getting better and more heated.. I feelbthr suspense and tension in the air.

The scale of this adventure has truly grown by leaps and bounds, as we've read about our characters growth and development in a post apocalyptic United States. Now they are in for the fight of their lives as they try to defend what's left of the country!

Phenomenal
I'm not going to spoil anything, but I will say... Tav and the girls never fail in their badassness nor in their tugging of the heartstrings. I'll be counting down the minutes till the next installment, I can't wait to see what happens next!

Fantastic
This whole series has been fantastic. It has its sexy parts, I enjoy the interaction of Tab and the girls. It may be improbable in the real world, but books, eh? I look forward to this group kicking ass on the NKs.

Cannot catch a break
Tav and the girls are going home after giving the Korean troops a black eye. Escaping the patrols becomes the issue of the day as they head to their home base. A good read.

Good read, very imaginative
A different take on the apocalypse. Enjoyed it immensely. Can't wait for the next installment. Hate to have to wait so long.

The girls go to war...
Things are starting to build up. The NK's are trying to take over our country and Tav and the girls aren't having it. Hang in there and see what develops!
