Born in Visalia, California, I'm a small town girl at heart. I love central California's golden foothills, oak trees, and the miles of farmland. In my mind, there's nothing sweeter in the world than the heady fragrance of orange blossoms on a sultry summer night.

As a little girl I spent hours on my bed, staring out the window, dreaming of far off places, fearless knights, and happy-ever-after endings. In my imagination I was never the geeky bookworm with the thick coke-bottle glasses, but a princess, a magical fairy, a Joan-of-Arc crusader.

My parents fed my imagination by taking our family to Europe for a year when I was thirteen. The year away changed me (I wasn't a geek for once!) and overseas I discovered a huge and wonderful world with different cultures and customs. I loved everything about Europe, but felt especially passionate about Italy and those gorgeous Italian men (no wonder my first very Presents hero was Italian).

I confess, after that incredible year in Europe, the travel bug bit, and bit hard. I spent much of my high school and college years abroad, studying in South Africa, Japan and Ireland. South Africa remains a country of my heart, the people, the land and politics complex and heart-wrenching.

After my years of traveling and studying I had to settle down and earn a living. With my Bachelors degree from UCLA in American Studies, a program that combines American literature and American history, I've worked in sales and marketing, as well as a director of a non-profit foundation. Later I earned my Masters in Writing from the University of San Francisco and taught jr. high and high school English.

I now live in Seattle and Hawaii with my three sons. I never mind a rainy day, either, because that's when I sit at my desk and write stories about far-away places, fascinating people, and most importantly of all, love. I like a story with a happy ending. We all do.

A lovely and charming story featuring two very different people thrown together because of a precious baby, “Montana Cowboy Daddy”, by Jane Porter (Tule Publishing), features a fascinating hero who doesn’t do relationships and a heroine with a deep need to be loved.
The improbability of Billy – a fun, sexy and resistant to commitment cowboy – and intellectual Erika having a romantic relationship is so strong in the beginning of the story that I was really intrigued to see how it would work.
Billy is a very interesting hero, full of contradictions – the D. Juan, the family man, the devoted brother, the instant, yet very responsible father. The handsome cowboy seems so different from the psychology doctorate student, yet their relationship blossoms with both learning from each other.
They are great together and with baby Beck. The family interactions were also a delight to watch.

I just couldn't connect. The H was an asshole man whore, that frankly would have taken several years of condom wear to wipe that out of my brain. It made the story less beliveable and honestly I had no sympathy for him whatsoever.

Montana Cowboy Daddy by Jane Porter
This story starts out with Erika, a student working on her PhD degree. She gets a call and rushes to her cousins in Las Vegas. She finds her cousin is dead from a car crash and her son is in the car seat, unharmed.
She had NO idea that April had a son and is there to tend to the services and to her son Beck.
She looks through photo albums to maybe find a clue as to who the father could be and thinks she has an idea. His name is listed on the birth certificate.
Billy Wyatt. The Wyatt boys are in rodeos, heavily and some run the ranch. Erika finds him at the rodeo events but he's always with another female so she decides to just drive to the family ranch there and confront him.
He has no idea why the woman is there in the kitchen but learns soon enough. They get to spend time together and wait for the test to come back. His mother knows he's a Wyatt form the head and lack of hair.
The test does come back and Erika has agreed to be a nanny while he's on the road, In his free time he can help watch the baby while she works on her papers. He gets injured in the event, hospitalized, surgeries etc.
He is brought to his own cabin in Utah where he recovers with help from Erika and a few neighbor. Love the time they spend at Bryce and just simple things like walks in the wood, discovering new things.
Love how he teaches her to cook while she tends to them both. She knows she has to leave and let him take care of the baby. He has to tell her how he really feels about her and soon or she will leave...
Love the caring, travel, family togetherness, all about rodeos, her field of work, learning to cook, hiking, nature, romance, and learning new words.
Love the play by play scenes, I can just picture them in my mind. Such a realistic story.
A KEEPER!

Erika’s family has never been close, so when she receives a call from the Las Vegas police informing her that her cousin, April, was killed in an accident and she was named the next of kin to her infant son she was shocked. Not only to hear that her cousin has passed, but that her cousin had a baby AND named her the guardian if anything was to happen to her. Erika didn’t even know that her cousin had a baby!

Now in Vegas, armed with a baby and unsure what to do next, Erika decided to go to her cousin’s apartment and see what information she could find. There she comes across a photo album with pictures of April and a handsome cowboy named Billy Wyatt. Knowing that the baby’s name was Beck Wyatt Estes, Erika figured this may be the baby’s father. And with the dysfunctional family that both her and her cousin had grown up with, Erika made it a mission to see if this Billy Wyatt could actually be Beck’s dad. And, if so, give them the opportunity to be a family. What she didn’t expect to happen was to fall hard for the cowboy. Yes, he was handsome. Yes, he was charming and funny. But he also had a relationship with her cousin … and seemed to have females waiting for him in several states when he came through for rodeos. But she had to do good by Beck and give him the best chance at a family that she could. She knew that eventually she’d lose Beck, but never did she think she’d lose her heart as well.

Another great addition to the Wyatt Brothers of Montana series, this book will have you falling in love with the Wyatt family all over again. And if you haven’t read the first two books in the series, I highly recommend doing so. This is a great family that you definitely want to get to know.

Erika, a doctoral candidate, is surprised by a call that will change her life--she's now the guardian of her baby nephew, Beck--her world turned upside-down. Short on family ties, she's determined to find his father. But when she does, will he believe her?

Billy is a rodeo cowboy sowing his oats with no intention of settling down. When Erika shows up with Beck, everything he thought he wanted in life is questioned. When the blood test confirms the truth, he's ready to be the dad, but where does that leave Erika?

As they spend time together caring for Beck, feelings ignite, but is it enough for a lifetime? Hard decisions need to be made, emotions are on the line, and they both want what's best for Beck, can this makeshift family of three become a real family, filled with love?

This book has all the feels!

When Erika's cousin dies in a car accident, she finds herself caring for her infant. Unfortunately Erika doesn't know who Beck's father is but she's determined to find him and make sure the baby has a family to love him. Erika finds that Billy Wyatt is Beck's father. He's a rodeo star who doesn't want to give up his life style. As these two butt heads over their situation, a strong attraction develops between them. They hold back out of fear. I wanted Erika and Billy to become a family and give Beck the love and security he needs. Erika had a rough childhood devoid of love. I hoped that she would open her heart to the possibility of an everlasting love. Billy doesn't know how to process the fact that he's a father. I understood his frustration. Why hadn't Beck's mother told him of her pregnancy? Billy would have done the right thing. I found this story to be an emotional journey. I liked and cared for the characters. I found their growing closeness compelling. I loved Montana Cowboy Daddy. Jane Porter has outdone herself with this touching story. Seeing The Wyatt Family is always a special treat. I feel like part of the Paradise Valley Community.

Just love the feeling I’m left with after reading a book I just got lost in, loving every page, with characters that just get close to your heart and the baby in this one you just want him to grow up with his daddy in his life, and this book is one of those that leaves you sighing
And it was neat catching up with the characters from the first two books and watching Erika figure out the baby’s daddy was Billy Wyatt and what happens when she meets him and his family with the blue eyed, dead ringer for a Wyatt baby in her arms.
I recommend this as a don’t miss, and the first two books of the series are awesome reads to.

An emotionally charged romance.

Billy Wyatt's life is turned upside down when Erika Baylor shows up with a baby and informs him that he is the father. The mother was Erika's cousin who died in a car accident leaving Erika to raise her son, Beck. But being a student, Erika doesn’t have the time or money to raise a baby, so she sets out to find the father. Billy is willing to raise Beck, but he needs a little help while he recovers from a rodeo injury.

As they spend time at Billy's Utah home, Erika starts to fall for Billy's charm, but she knows it could never work out. Billy has a woman in every town and she doesn't approve of his reckless rodeo career. But fate works in mysterious ways and these two opposites soon find themselves having a hard time being just friends.

I was hooked on this book from the first page. The story felt real from the emotions the characters went through, to the action during the rodeo, a close-knit family that will do anything for each other and the amazing Utah scenery. It is the perfect addition to the Wyatt Brothers of Montana series.

Montana Cowboy Daddy by Jane Porter is book 3 in the Wyatt Brothers of Montana series.
I enjoyed reading the story. From the beginning it just takes off.
The banter between Erika and Billy is amusing, funny, loving, heartfelt and familiar.
Everything from her thoughtful thinking, how to approach Billy, to even find Billy and give him Beck.

Montana Cowboy Daddy by Jane Porter
Professional rodeo cowboy Billy Wyatt is in the prime of his career. He’s having a fantastic year on the circuit, earning big money and leading the standings. Too immersed in his success and enjoying bachelorhood, he’s not interested in getting serious. But when a woman he’s never seen before shows up at the Clovis Rodeo with a baby she claims is his, Billy’s world is turned inside out.
Erika Baylor, a PhD grad student, never planned to be a single mom, but when her older sister dies in a car accident, orphaning her infant son, Erika steps forward. She’ll help to care for her 6-month-old nephew until the baby can be reunited with his dad. She doesn’t expect the dad to be cocky, infuriating, and utterly irresistible.
Billy never thought he wanted to be a father, but looking into the eyes of the baby who is supposedly his—and whose blue eyes mirror his own—he’s hooked. But he’s hooked on the woman who’s holding the baby too…
This is Billy Wyatt and Erika Baylor's story.
Billy entered the house through the kitchen door, walking in on his mom seated at the big table with a strange woman. His mom was holding a baby. Billy’s stomach did a sharp nosedive, plummeting straight to the tips of his boots. He glanced at the lady, didn’t know her, glanced back to his mom who was gently patting the baby on his back. His forehead furrowed even as icy adrenaline flooded his veins.
What was going on?
His mom glanced up, met his gaze, her expression devoid of all emotion. “There you are,” she said evenly. “I was telling Erika it would take you about a half an hour, and it did.”
He looked at this Erika, wondering what she was doing here, wondering why his mother was holding the baby, wondering what any of this had to do with him. But he revealed none of it in his expression. Instead, he washed his hands at the kitchen sink, and then turned. “Anyone want coffee? Tea? I could put the kettle on.”
His mother shook her head. “Now that you’re here, I’m going to leave you two to talk.”
The call came in the middle of the night, jolting Erika Bay awake and then sending her dressing and grabbing her keys and purse to dash to her car.
She drove through the night to reach the Las Vegas police station, and during that long silent drive, her mind had raced, trying to grapple with everything that had happened. Her cousin April had been killed in a car accident. She’d left behind a baby. A baby Erika hadn’t even known about.
Where was the baby’s father?
Who was the baby’s father?
Erika had never thought of herself as maternal. She wasn’t one of those women that had grown up playing house, tucking in her dolls, and dreaming of being a mommy, not when her own mother had been sorely lacking in maternal love herself. But after arriving in Las Vegas and having social services place the soft bundle of a boy in her arms, explaining that April’s mother wanted no part of the baby and had already suggested Beck Wyatt Estes be placed in foster care, Erika vowed to do right by Beck, which in her mind meant finding the infant’s father, because maybe, just maybe, the father—whoever he was—would want his son.
When she’d picked him up from social services, she’d vowed to unite Beck with his father, and she didn’t know if Billy Wyatt even knew he had a son, but he would soon because she and Beck were going to Tucson tomorrow.
I recommend reading.
Montana Cowboy Daddy by Jane Porter is a 4 star book.
I am looking forward to reading more books by Jane Porter.

I so enjoyed this latest from Jane Porter. The Wyatt Brothers series is all about family, each brother finding his way in his family and with the woman he loves. Here we have a twist on the secret baby trope, when Erika Baylor shows up at the Wyatt ranch with an infant, Beck. The baby is her cousin's, who has died, and she thinks Billy Wyatt is the father. And of course she's right. From there, Erika and Billy both have to figure out how to navigate their relationship with each other and as the adults in Beck's life. It's a straightforward ride and pure romance.

Billy is a rodeo cowboy and he's pure cowboy, including a history of a girl in every city. He can't - or won't - settle down. He's challenged by his new role as a father, and his attraction to Erika. Erika doesn't hold back, she pushes him and his misconceptions about what is love and what is a relationship. Billy then pushes back at Erika, not letting her stay settled in her assumptions about his life or career.

For her part, Erika, a PhD candidate in psychology, who grew up in a terrible family situation, didn't believe she could be a single parent but finds it hard to leave Beck behind. She is also fundamentally learning to understand her own worth and ability to love and be lovable. She's a little too quick to draw the wrong conclusions with Billy, and her reaction a couple of times is to just leave. I felt like her jumps were all about her lack of self confidence and a defense mechanism. She always quickly learned and always apologized, so showed growth. I thought Billy was pretty understanding in ways he did not have to be.

After Billy is injured in a rodeo, Erika and Beck stay with him as he heals. This is the bulk of the plot, the months of healing while they slowly fall in love. There is angst and sizzling attraction and both characters struggling to figure out their own feelings as well as how to tell the other person. I thought it worked beautifully.

Dialogue and pacing are excellent. Billy and Erika have great banter, there is flirting and teasing as well as real arguments as they each stand up for themselves. Neither character is a pushover and it's great. Heat level is limited to the growing attraction between them and a scorching hot kiss. There are no other sexy times on the page. This works fine as a standalone in the series.

I thoroughly enjoyed this one. There's a teaser for the fourth book included and I'm also super intrigued for that. This is a great addition to the Marietta world.

Any day that I can return to the Marietta, Montana universe is a very good day – Billy and Erika certainly were the icing on the cake for this particular visit. Montana Cowboy Daddy is the third title in the Wyatt Brothers of Montana series, and while you could read each as a standalone you’d probably enjoy all of the stories within this series for you’ll run into familiar faces from previous stories along the way. But you do what works best for you, I’m well aware that we cannot always go back to the beginning of a series to get caught up.

You’ll want to understand upfront that Montana Cowboy Daddy isn’t what I consider the usual secret (unknown) baby trope. Sweet little baby Beck’s mother was killed in an accident and the baby is now with a cousin who is determined to find Beck’s daddy and see the baby secure in a loving home – something Erika didn’t have growing up. She’s about as opposite as it’s possible to be from Billy… at least on the surface but when you get down to the core of these two, as they grow and let go of the past, you’ll find a couple that truly belongs together as a family.

I don’t want to say much beyond what you’d find in the cover description of this story for to understand their growth, the changes they have to make, and the people they will encounter you really need to experience all of that first hand. What I am comfortable saying is that this story is my favorite of the series so far (and I usually don’t announce that in reviews). Billy with his focus on living life large in his quest for the championship, Erika with her analytical mind, her past pain, her own quest to find a love that is just for her… they’ll eventually fit together in ways that enhance each other. But there are some potholes and roadblocks to get beyond before that happy ending has any chance of coming true for them. I enjoyed their journey to their own happily ever after future.

Montana Cowboy Daddy is intense in places, soft and sweet in others, always with a bit of laughter, tears, realistic situations, and a cast of secondary characters to bring it all to life. As always, I had a blast with this Marietta connection story and I’m definitely looking forward to the next visit in November 2021.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from Tule Publishing. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

Montana Cowboy Daddy is Wyatt Brothers of Montana book three by Jane Porter. The first two books in the series were wonderful but I wasn’t sure this would be as great because of the title. I am not much for the whole secret baby situation. However, this one is different from the typical. Now I can easily admit that I loved it.

The baby’s mother was killed in an accident so it is a cousin who is trying to find the father of this young baby. All of this is in the description so no surprise. What is a surprise is how much I grew to like these two people. Erika Baylor has some heavy baggage from her childhood while Billy Wyatt is a good time, work hard, play even harder, handsome cowboy who is self-absorbed with his career and lifestyle.

More than once early on while reading I felt that Erika should just leave taking Beck, the baby with her while Billy continued his striving for the big bucks and buckle. Little Beck would be the making of Erika giving her the confidence and the family as well as a sense of belonging that she desperately needed. She thought her grandparents has a “very strict faith” but in reality they had no faith at all. God’s faith is one of mercy, grace, and truth in love. What they belonged to was nothing more than a legalistic, rule following, religious sect. No wonder her mother rebelled but that did not come for good either in Erika’s case. Her family’s past gave her little to base a wholesome family life on but I believed in her.

Boy, was I surprised when it was the making of both Erika and Billy. I should have known Jane Porter would deliver a realistic storyline with characters that I not only learned to like but to love. The growth that Erika and Billy go through in this story is wonderfully genuine making it a great story.

An ARC of the book was given to me by Tule Publishing which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Words fail to describe how much I truly loved reading Billy and Erika’s love story in Montana Cowboy Daddy by Jane Porter, book three in her Wyatt Brothers series. Billy Wyatt, a professional rodeo cowboy, is in the prime of his career; having a fantastic year on the circuit, earning big money, and leading in the standings. Billy is not interested in getting serious, more a love them and leave them kind of guy. When a woman he’s never seen before shows up with a baby, claiming the baby is his, Billy’s world is turned upside down. Erika Baylor, a PhD grad student, had her future mapped out; a future that didn’t include being a single mom. When her cousin dies in a car accident, orphaning her 4-month old son, Erika steps forward to take care of the baby; at least until she can reunite him with his dad. Erika never expected the dad to be cocky, infuriating, and totally irresistible. Billy never considered being a father, at least until looking into the eyes of the baby, Beck, a little boy with boy eyes like his. Billy struggles with changing his routine to help out and give Erika time to work on her thesis; allowing all of the care of Beck to fall on Erika. Erika, already struggling with her writing, becomes resentful, and fears that leaving Beck and Billy means never seeing Beck or Billy again, after these two have captured her heart.

Ms. Porter, an amazing story teller in her own right, wrote a wonderfully sweet, emotional and moving story that is definitely not to be missed. This story is filled with sizzling attraction, fun dialogue, and strong characters, giving Billy, Erika and the opportunity to enrich their compatibility, love turning it into a family with a future together. I highly recommend Montana Cowboy Daddy to other readers.

I received this arc from Tule Publishing in exchange for an honest review. I was happy to return to Marietta and the Wyatt Brothers series. Jane Porter’s books are always so enjoyable to read. Each brother in the Wyatt family is a little different, yet they know their family is always there for them. Book 3 is Billy’s story. We learned in the previous books that Billy likes to have a good time, he doesn’t want to be tied down or commit to one woman. He is a rodeo cowboy and plans to live on the rodeo circuit until he is ready to retire. Billy doesn’t ever plan to get married or have children.

We meet Erika, a grad student living in California who was asked to come to Las Vegas as her cousin April had died in a car accident. Erika was named April’s next of kin and family services gave her April’s baby that she was unaware of. Erika looked through pictures at April’s apartment and noticed some of a cowboy who the baby, Beck, resembled. Going online, Erika identifies the father as Billy Wyatt. She tracks him down at the family ranch in Marietta to tell him he has a son. He doesn’t want to acknowledge him until he has a DNA test but his mom is certain it’s his. The rush test confirms Beck is his son.

Billy tells April he plans to continue to go from rodeo to rodeo as it’s how he makes his living. She’s horrified that he isn’t stopping to care for his son. He suggests April travel along to care for Beck since he’s familiar with her. He gets her a motel room at each stop. She has told him she needs to write her final thesis so she can graduate. Initially he’s so busy that he doesn’t have time to watch Beck for her. Then she realizes she’s getting attached to her two guys and doesn’t want to study. She’s always been a loner and she is enjoying being with others and starts to rethink her life path.

Billy and Erika have a lot of chemistry that both fight against. The three of them make such a cute family. I loved the building romance between them and their growing attraction and secret wish to be together. I gave this 5 stars as it is such a wonderful book and series.

I always love it when Jane Porter has a new release and her newest, MONTANA COWBOY DADDY, book 3 her Wyatt Brothers of Montana series, was no exception. This one focuses on Billy Wyatt, but it was fun to check in with family members from the previous books in the series. Billy is a rodeo cowboy whose career is on the rise, enjoying his success and the life of a bachelor with no intention of settling down.
Erika Baylor was shocked to receive the phone call letting her know that her cousin, April, had died in a car accident and left behind a 4-month-old son, Beck. Erika and April hadn’t been in contact for awhile and hadn’t had the best upbringing, so Erika is determined to find Beck’s father and give him the family they didn’t have, especially since she is not in a position to raise him herself: as a Ph.D. student, she is still working on her dissertation so she can get her career going and be stable before she thinks about next steps. When she finds a photo album with pictures of April and a cowboy, she’s able to quickly figure out who Beck’s father’s identity. All she has to do is find him and convince him that he has a son.
It was fun to watch Billy learn to be a dad and the interplay between him and Erika as they both navigate their growing feelings and interactions neither had encountered before. I also enjoyed watching Erika find herself and overcome the effects of growing up in her family. I really liked Billy and Erika as a couple. MONTANA COWBOY DADDY was a great addition to the series, though it could easily stand alone. I can’t wait to see where Porter goes next, as there is another brother and she dropped a few hints about Tommy’s secrets.
I received an advanced copy from the Publisher. All opinions are my own and freely given.

Billy Wyatt is a professional Rodeo cowboy and he goes wherever there is a rodeo he can compete in. This was his year to win it all, and then two things stop him from getting this goal, a baby he didn’t know he had and an injury that would sideline him for month. When Erika Baylor turns up at his family’s ranch with little Beck in tow saying that Billy’ was the daddy, it shocked him right down to his cowboy boots. Erika was not the baby momma, but her cousin April was and she was killed in a car accident that spared little Beck. So, when she was notified of this terrible heartbreaking incident, she did not think twice about taking little Beck and went on a search to find his daddy. There were clues left behind by April that led Erika to finding Billy Wyatt. Once paternity was established and Billy was healing from his accident at the Rodeo, he and Erika and baby Beck, with the help of Billy’s his brother Tommy, make their way to Utah where Billy has a ranch and they set up housekeeping.

Erika is working on her PHD in phycology and she needs to knuckle down and get it down, but there are too many distractions, one being the little man Beck and the other being his cowboy daddy, Billy. She just could not concentrate on her work. She thought about Billy night and day, and some of those thoughts were too steamy for the daytime.

I liked this story and the buildup of the relationship between Erika and Billy. They were more than friends, and less in a true relationship that had a future. It was slow to build up and then it really made a turn. Jane Porter did a good job of bringing this story to a wonderful HEA for these two who were once strangers, and who became a couple and the baby that brought them together.

Thank you, Jane Porter, for giving me the opportunity to read and review your books and I look forward to the next book in this series.

4.5 Stars!

I never pass up an opportunity to read a book by Jane Porter. Her stories are replete with emotion, captivating characters, and an engaging plot. Montana Cowboy Daddy is the third book from the Wyatt Brothers of Montana series, and it can enjoyed as a standalone. I must mention that books one and two are equally as good.

Erika Baylor is a smart and beautiful woman who is almost done with her Psychology dissertation. She has big career plans once she earns her doctorate, however, she lives a lonely life and yearns to fall in love and be loved. When her somewhat estranged cousin dies in an accident, Erika instantly becomes the guardian to her cousin's infant son Beck. Locating Beck's absent dad is much easier than she originally anticipates, however, she never dreamed she would fall in love with him and his family.

Billy Wyatt hails from a long line of successful rodeo cowboys and ranchers. His career is booming and he enjoys the perks of bachelorhood on the rodeo circuit. His life is forever changed when Erika comes into his life and he learns that he is a father. Erika agrees to stay on and care for Beck as Billy comes to terms with fatherhood. Then Billy gets hurt while competing, and Erika ends up taking care of both Billy and Beck. Overtime, they form a family.

I really enjoyed this sweet and sexy story. Ms. Porter's writing style continues to be effortless and easy to understand. Erika and Billy are perfect together and I felt their connection almost immediately. Billy's grandad and brothers add a nice interest to the story. Overall, a solid romantic read.

Montana Cowboy Daddy is the newest installment by Jane Porter to her wonderful Wyatt Brothers of Montana series. Erika Baylor is a hard-working doctoral student. She receives a tragic phone call that her cousin April has been killed in a car wreck, leaving Erika as next-of-kin for April’s baby. Erika didn’t even know that April had a baby! Erika drops her schoolwork and handles the baby boy, named Beck, April’s funeral, and handling the disposition of April’s belongings. Simultaneously, Erika pieces clues together that imply Billy Wyatt is the father.

Erika, with Beck in tow, informs Billy of her hypothesis, upon meeting him at his family’s ranch in Marietta. A paternity test confirms the reality, Beck is Billy’s son. Erika agrees to help with Beck and they head out on the pro rodeo tour. Tragedy #2 occurs when Billy is trampled by a horse. They all move to Billy’s ranch in Utah, and Billy attacks his rehab, but Erika hates the idea of him competing again. There an obvious interaction between Erika and Billy, but both are perplexed by their heat, and their banter. Mostly they are disturbed by not wanting to hurt each other.

Finally, desperate, Erika leaves early one morning. Unknown to her, Billy chases after her! Will they each declare their love? Will Billy have his one and only? Will Erika have her champion? Will baby Beck have a mommy and a daddy? Will they all make a new Wyatt family? The author has written many Marietta stories and series. Each of them stellar in their own right. This story, and this series are special. Each story bores deeper into your heart. I love the Wyatt family

Montana Cowboy Daddy is the third book in the Wyatt Brothers of Montana Series. I have read the previous books and enjoyed them as much. The Wyatt family is very much the epitome of a loving and loyal. While each brother has their own interests, they will never hesitate to be there for each other. From the first book, the loyalty, love, and camradarie are present. Add a strong, protective, loving grandfather with mother who will except nothing but respect and strong ideals. I truly adored this family. I especially loved the closeness.

Billy is a rodeo champ. He has been very successful in his career and has a strong financial standing to help when he finally retires. Unfortunately, Billy has no plans to retire anytime soon. He plans on a rodeo career for as long as he can. Nothing will come in the way of that. Especially not finding out he is a father. Billy was a great character. I respected how he was determined to be a father as well as continuing his rodeo career. At first, Billy wasn't going to make compromises but he soon realized he had to make some changes. If he wanted to be the best father he could be, Billy would have to stop thinking of only himself. He was very lucky to have Erika on the road with him so she could care for his son. At the beginning, Billy took Erika for granted although I don't feel it was intentional. He was just so used to living footloose and fancy free. Watching his character grow and mature was one of my favorite aspects of the story.

The chemistry between Erika and Billy is strong from the beginning but neither acted on their feelings believing that they should just focus on baby Beck. I don't want to spoil any of this story for you but I will tell you the whole story in itself is a slow build to an incredible ending.

There is a bit of a hint that has me very curious as to how Tommy's story will go. I already feel like it will be emotional. If you are a fan of Montana cowboys, strong heroines, and emotional romances, I recommend this series. The books can be read in any order but I believe your reading experience will be more rewarding if you start with book one.

While I received a review copy from Tule Publishing, this is my honest and unbiased review and I thank you for taking the time to read it. :)

We are back with the Wyatt brothers of Montana. This time it’s Billy Wyatt’s story.
Billy is a pro rodeo cowboy at the cusp of his career. Single and with a rodeo bunny in each place he is happy to keep the ladies entertained, but doesn’t believe in love.
Erika Baylor, a doctorate student struggling to meet ends gets a call from Las Vegas that would change her life forever. Her cousin, whom she hasn’t seen in a long time , is killed in a car accident. Erika was the name left to contact in case of an emergency. When Erika arrives in Vegas, she discovers her cousin’s had a baby. An infant that now has been left an orphan. A boy she knew nothing about but one she is determined to help find his dad.
When Erika finally finds Billy, imagine his surprise to discover he has a child. Something he never expected but once he sees the little boy, there is no doubt he is his and that he’ll do anything for the child.
Temporarily staying to help Billy with baby Beck, Erika at times is resentful but also discovers that feelings are starting to blossom.
During their trials and tribulations, each discovers something not only about the other, but also about themselves.
In the end, will they find their HEA, or will these two seemingly opposites go their own way?
While not my favorite in the series, it was still an entertaining story.
I was entrusted a copy of this book by Tule Publishing. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

What is it with the buckle bunnies and rodeo cowboys? Or it is simply the draw of the Wyatt genes is just so strong that women can't resist? Whatever the case we end up with some of the cutest babies on this side of Marietta, Montana that is for sure. Grab your coffee mug and settle in for another good read from Montana.
Erika Baylor receives a message that her cousin has been in an accident in Vegas and she is needed right away because there is a baby left behind with no mother. So she rushes off only to discover that not only is there no mom but no dad around as well. So Erika sets out to locate the father, rodeo bull rider Billy Wyatt. The only problem is every time she tries to tell him about little Beck is there is a different woman hanging around his neck, a buckle bunny as they are called. Then he ups and gets hurt. And she heads to his home in Montana to head him off in the den as you would say. And from there life gets interesting. And really good. Of course, since both Wyatt and Erika are nice-looking folks themselves and there is a baby between them, even if it is not theirs. Cowboys and babies what a great combination!

I loved this story. They Wyatt Brothers are all very likable characters, Billy included. Although he certainly isn’t perfect. He’s not into “serious” relationships, and has a girl in several towns on the rodeo circuit. When suddenly his life is turned upside down when a woman he doesn’t know shows up with a baby she says is his.
Erika was also a great character. She is working on her PhD, when she gets the call that turns her world upside down. Her friend April was killed in an accident, and left behind a baby that Erika never even knew she had. Erika decides to try to find the baby’s father, and a photo book leads her to Billy Wyatt.
This book had plenty of drama. Considering April hadn’t told either of them about the baby, suddenly being thrown into the role of caregiver/parent would be a shock to anyone. Billy and Erika discover they have chemistry, and a mutual desire to do what is best for baby Beck. There are definitely ups and downs, and Billy has a lot of maturing to do, but the journey in this story was as good as the ending.

A story that you don't want to miss, full of emotion and family. Billy, champion rodeo cowboy is having a wonderful year on the circuit, enjoying all aspects of his career including the girls. He is known for love them and leave them. Everything changes when Erika shows up at his rodeo with a baby. She is claiming that it his son. Erika is working on her PhD when she gets a call that her cousin has died and left her baby, Beck to her. Erika's whole life turns topsy turvy. To add to the problems Billy is injured and Erika is now taking care of him. They both want to deny the sizzling chemistry that they share but soon it might be impossible.

This was a story that I didn't want to see end. Loved the characters, great banter between them. They both loved little, Beck. Many words of wisdom from Jane Porter's heart were through out the story. I highly recommend this book. This is part of series but can be read as a stand alone.

This is Billy’s story in the Wyatt Brothers series. He is a confirmed bachelor on the rodeo circuit but gets a bit of a surprise when a young lady, Erika Baylor, shows up with a baby and says he is the daddy. Erika is only planning to stick around long enough for Billy to warm up to the idea of being a daddy and to make sure Beck is acclimating to his new environment. However, the longer she sticks around, the harder it becomes to imagine leaving.

I thoroughly enjoy each of Jane’s books. She has an amazing talent for creating dynamic characters and a captivating plot. I love how each book is dedicated to one character which allows the reader to obtain a deeper understanding of the particular character(s). As well as intertwining the characters we know and love she also introduces new. By incorporating beloved characters from her other series, Jane has effectively created a Porter-verse, which is a world I would love to live in.

This is a sweet small town romance about total opposites that on first appearance should have nothing in common but somehow manages to become a romance that melts your heart

Erika Bayley's entire life revolves around her graduate studies and she is stunned when she is informed that her cousin has did and left her as the guardian of her young son Beck Wyatt Estes mainly because she never even knew her cousin had a son after all her family is not the greatest example of togetherness. Wanting to know more she heads to her cousins Las Vegas apartment and there she finds information that leads her to believe that Rodeo star Billy Wyatt is Becks father. Tracking him down hoping that Billy has a family that will love Beck She discovers a man that also intrigues her Can these two with nothing in common other than a baby actually find a future together You will have to read to see

I love Jane Porter’s books and this one is true to form with just the right blend of wry humour and deep emotion. The cover was what first attracted me to this story. Who could resist the joy that was so clearly apparent in the faces of the cowboy and the little boy shown there? It gave me a good indication of the strong bond between rodeo cowboy Billy Wyatt and baby Beck, the son he had no idea he’d had until he arrived at the Wyatt family ranch with Erika, his guardian in tow. Beck’s mother April is dead and Erika has tracked down Billy to give Beck the chance to be raised by at least one of his parents. With two strong characters, each determined to pursue their own agenda, there was sure to be fireworks and there certainly were, but there were also some achingly tender moments as well. This story felt good all the way through to me and it’s left me with some happy memories.

“Montana Cowboy Daddy” is book 3 of Jane Porter’s Wyatt Brother’s of Montana series.
Billy Wyatt is a Rodeo professional who is blinde sided by a young woman who claims the baby she has with her is his. Erika Baylor has tracked Billy down for the benefit of her late cousin’s baby. His family all recognize that the baby is definitely family and convince Billy he needs to acknowledge and take care of him.
Billy and Erika strike a deal where she cares for Beck, the baby, and continues to work on her PhD degree while he continues with the rodeo circuit. Things don’t quite work out as planned, life and the rodeo get in the way and Billy ends up back at his ranch with baby Beck and Erika.
Jane Porter always writes a good story, and this is just another of her latest great new series. You’ll enjoy reading this one.

Erika Baylor is a PHD in Psychology graduate in the middle of writing her dissertation for her doctorate when she receives a late night phone call. Her cousin April died in a car accident in Las Vegas. When she arrives in Las Vegas, she finds baby boy Beck waiting for her. She takes the next few days to complete all the necessary things about April's affairs. She finds a photo album in April's apartment with photos of her and the apparent mystery dad. Erika tries to locate Beck's supposed dad, Billy Wyatt, currently involved with the rodeo circuit. After 2 attempts to tell him, she drives with Beck to Monana to Billy's family ranch to inform him there. Billy is both confused and unsure he is Beck's dad. Things heat up between Erika and Billy throughout the book involving anger and romantic feelings the longer they are together. Good story and worth the time to see how things turn out.
