Kilka prawdziwych informacji i kupa bzdur z portali internetowych. Groźna pozycja dla osób, które nie wiedzą za wiele o chorobach jelit i odżywianiu.
Bibliografia rozśmieszyła mnie do łez. Linki do stron internetowych? Serio?

Science and Pseudoscience

From the subtitle of this book, the author would have you believe that this book is a single simple 5-step plan to help with gut health. That 5-step plan is only at the end of the book. Before that, he goes over typical gastrointestinal diseases like IBS and GERD. The information in these sections prior to his plan is like a blend of science and pseudoscience. As an RN, I have studied both nutrition and the body (anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, etc.), and some of what he says flies in direct opposition to what I've learned—or at least does not agree with it. He tries to make it all sound legit but doesn't really back it up. All in all, I was disappointed by this book.

I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.

Gut health is so important. This book was very informative and gave me some good advice. I think this is a good book for anyone who wants more information on gut health. I thought it was packed full of information and it was arranged in an easy to follow manor. This is a very good book.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Informative

It is important to learn about the functions of your body. This book is very informative, it is Loaded with informations. However, I would have loved it if the language was a little less formal. I feel I need to read this again at least twice to understand and remember some informations. Overall, a very good book.

Gives good ideas

I was looking for more home remedies to try since I cannot afford a specialist to go to. I have suffered from several chronic illnesses most of my life and I have alwAys been active. I had had symptoms worsen and with no relief. The book gave me more to look into and try but most i already had.
