ReGina Welling prefers not to talk about herself in the third person so...
I live in Maine with my husband, a silly flufferpup named Dash, and a crazy cat named Cricket. I write full time and also create mixed media artwork when I get the chance.
When I was three, my mom brought home a new book and when she went to read it to me, I read it to her instead. That was when she realized I'd learned to read. Since then I couldn't even estimate the number of books I've read. It's a lot!

Wedding Ghost wasn't my favourite book in the Haunted Everly After series. Like I found in the previous book Fortune Haunter, the killer's motive was a bit weak in my opinion and yet again just like Fortune Haunter the book ended all of a sudden which is becoming one of my pet peeves. Hopefully I'll enjoy the next book more!
Regina Welling does not disappoint with this Everly installment. There are plenty of dead ends and misdirections to create a wonderfully fun Mystery. BRAVO!
Everly is worried about being forced to testify in Paul's trial. Meanwhile Patrea, her lawyer, is going to get married in a few weeks so things are kind of complicated for her.
There's a lot that goes into planning the wedding including food. It doesn't help when one of the food supplies ends up dead. Was it accidental, or was it on purpose?
The one that died is Summer and she appears as a ghost to Beverly. So now her task is to find out just what happened to Summer, whether it was an accident or murder and, if it was murder, who did it while, at the same time, handling the problem with her testimony against Paul and also trying to help to prepare Patrea's wedding.
Talk about multi-tasking.
Fortunately everything ends up the way it should.
I think the main strength of this series is in the characters and how realistically they are portrayed.
This book has all the best emotions and plot ! I couldn't put it down! For a cozy paranormal mystery it had adventure, comedy, and mystery;of course. The characters were so real and quirky they seemed like members of my own family. I recommend this book for everyone who loves mysteries and those especially who love the paranormal. But everyone no matter your preference will love this book! ! Although its part of a series it does stand alone too.
Wedding Ghost is Book number 6 in the Haunted Everly After Series. I really loved this book and this series is so great. Everly is in a wedding and of course a ghost shows up. She has another case on her hands. The characters are well written and they mystery is so well thought out. Another great hit! I can't wait for the next book in this fantastic series!
I really wanted to give this book 5 stars. It’s one of my favorite series and I’ve been looking forward to reading it for a long time. The story was great, had a fast pace and plot twists to keep the reader interested, but there seemed to be some things that weren’t wrapped up by the end. I still very much enjoyed the book and hope that the next one will be out soon!
I miss reading about what Everly finds in the house. My main issue is that characters are introduced and then sprinkled throughout the books without any depth- her boyfriend for example. I was mostly through this book when I realized I’d confused Märtha and Mabel or maybe thought they were the same person.
Wedding planning can be murder and when 2 people are murdered and one poisoned it only gets more intense. Everly works to help Patrea plan her wedding and solve the murder of her caterer at the same time. Lots of twists and turns and all sort of craziness going on until at the reception the truth comes out and the murderer is caught. Really good story.
The Haunted Everly After series is such fun to read. Regina and Erin do a bang up job of weaving comedy, romance and mystery together into a "can't put it down" story. The main colorful characters moving from book to book feel like old friends, and bring the stories to life.
I did like this book immensely but wish would have been a little more to the ending. There were a few cute surprises that I loved, and I'm not ashamed to say, I cried at one of the scenes. Overall, it's a great addition to the series that has fun and likable characters that seem like old friends of mine now.
Good addition to Everly's storyline. The plot and subplots move quickly, making it hard to put the book down. The characters are well developed and the conversations flow naturally. I am looking forward to the next book!
Everly is up to her neck in wedding plans as Patrea's maid of honor. She's also testifying against her ex-husband, and trying to convince the police that a caterers death is murder. Two thumbs up for the storyline, characters, and location in this series.
Once again a great read to entertain but also keep you interested. It has humor romance but especially nice to read about kind people. Yes weird in a murder but Gives me hope.
I love this series. It's the perfect combination of supernatural and funny. I definitely recommend reading it and I will be purchasing the next book....all the books in the series!
This book was very upbeat and there were some pretty funny wedding craziness dialogues. It was also a very sweet story of relationships beginning and others becoming stronger.
While I am enjoying the series, this one felt rushed and the ending was disappointing. I would rather have a longer version to flesh out the details and make for better reading.
This is the sixth book I have read in this series. The characters in the book have become like old friends. But don't worry you can totally read them out of order.
This is a good little series of books. Set in a small town with nicely drawn characters, they are PG13 at the worst. If you like a mildly feminist detective investigating mysteries with a ghostly twist, give Haunted Everly After a try.
Everly really should have been a cop the way she keeps finding dead bodies and solving murders. This time she is solving a murder while performing maid if honor duties for Patrea.
These books will be the death of me at 2 AM! Every time I think they can’t get any better, there’s a new twist, and they make me laugh so much, I’m afraid I’ll wake my boyfriend!
Patreas wedding is upon the gang but a murder of the caterer puts a wench in the works. Everly needs to find the killer before it is rules an accident so the ghost can rest and leave Everly alone.
We all want our “special person” to remember our favorite things. When they get it wrong, it disappoints you and it breaks your heart. He broke hers for the last time. On to the book, ~ Happy Reading
