Father James Martin in his book Building a Bridge makes many statements that are false - or at best misleading – regarding the teaching of the Catholic Church on homosexuality and several other sexual perversions now being promoted in our culture. This little book was written to respond to those errors. It also addresses several other distorted statements made by Father Martin in some of his speeches in which he also promoted these same perversions. It is the author’s hope that the reader of this book will come to understand better the actual position of the Church’s magisterium regarding these matters and perhaps also come to a fuller understanding of those suffering with those sins popularly labeled as LGBTQ.
