After leading the Crusaders to a historic but bloody victory at Acre, Richard the Lionheart finally turns his attention to the greatest prize of all, Jerusalem.
Leading a committed yet exhausted army, the task is fraught with difficulties, including the might of Saladin’s full army standing between him and the Holy-city.
Needing one last push to return Jerusalem into the hands of Christendom, he turns once more to the men who he knows can lead his army to victory. The Templars.

The most recent project is a five-book series about the Templars during the 12th century. Templar Steel, Templar Stone, Templar Blood and Templar Fury are already on sale and Templar Glory is due for release in Oct 2021.
An exciting project is also underway, a three-book series chronicling the years leading up to and beyond the Battle of Hastings.
The latest Templar saga features the human chess game between Richard I and Salah ah Din. Heavily outnumbered the Christian army limps along the coast to take small towns and forts to ensure protection. The horrendous true massacre of the Saracen prisoners shows Richard doesn't play games or suffer foods. Add to this the plot to assassinate Conrad and the hunt for the missing family, keeps the reader on their toes.
What an excellent book! I didn't want this one to end. Richard finally makes it to Jerusalem but things take an unexpected turn. Rahman does an excellent job of taking things we aren't 100% sure about and weaning a story into them,a good example of this is the assassination of Conrad off Montferrat.
These books are so will written in now bored and i don't want to read anything else he releases the next one. Fantastic.
I have read all of Kevin’s books He is a really good author and in my opinion a great story teller . Up there with the best and I rate him as highly as Jeffrey Archer. Rob
I have really enjoyed reading this series. Being somewhat of a very amateur historian reading about the real participants in the actual battles is a great reminder of where humanity has been and the great struggle for peace throughout time
I have read all 5 books in this genre and from book 1 to book 5 I have found them all entertaining both historical and fiction going hand in hand would recomend
