Jamison. An alpha ... a cop ... and a hell of a good baker.
Reece. New cop at the precinct ... and new omega in town. But he's trying to keep that part a secret.
Jamison is having a bad day. His new partner, Reece, has been made number one detective on the case they've just been assigned. Not only that but he lost his parking spot when Reece pulled in ahead of him. As far as Jamison is concerned, Reece just seems to be getting ahead of him at every turn. And when Reece shows up to the annual bachelor auction with the exact same cookies, Jamison is livid.
Reece just wants to fit in. He's new in town, he has a new job, and he's hoping to find a new love at the bachelor auction. The trouble is, he can't stop thinking about his new partner, Jamison. But he has to keep his attraction a secret. He doesn't want to rock the boat. He doesn't even want anyone at the precinct to know about his omega status.
Little does Reece know that his choice of cookies ... the double cherry delights that he bakes and brings to the auction ... will cause more waves that he can imagine between he and his new partner.
Double Cherry Delight is an enemies to lovers mpreg story featuring two incredibly hot rival cops who eventually figure out they can't keep their hands off each other. Oh ... and lots of sweets, holiday festivities, and a super cuddly baby.
This was book 4 in the "Bake Sale Bachelors Season Two"Reece is a new cop in town he is an omega that doesn't look like an omega. Jamison is having a bad day he he thinks that his new partner Reece is out to steal his job. When Reece shows up for the bake sale they have the same cookies and Reece gets a date with the guy that Jamison wants. This was a good read Jamison thinks that Reece is out to get him. Turns out the guy that Reece gets a date with Brad was a douche they had no chemistry and Jamison and his date are at the same restaurant. Jamison talked so much about Reece on his date that the guy left. Reece gives him a gift certificate to a spa and when he gets there Reece is there and he realizes that Reece is an omega who was masking his scent. These two hook up and go at it in the sauna. This was a good read. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
He stole your cookie recipe, your parking spot, your job. Will you let him steal your heart?
What a brilliant addition to the second season of the Bake Sale Bachelors series! I love the whole premise in this multi- author endeavor. This book is all I've come to expect: funny, sweet, emotional, sexy, passionate. Enemies to lovers. This is Jamison & Reece's story. A series of coincidences, misunderstandings, and denial set the stage for an explosive, sexy scene. Now they have to take the blinders off and see what's right in front of them. It won't be easy. They are partners at work on the police force. But they both love to cook. Jamison has a blog & YouTube cooking show. That's where Reece finds the recipe for the cherry delight cookies he takes to the auction. The same ones Jamison takes... His cookies. While the auction doesn't go as planned, the result sets all things in motion. HEA is assured. Come. Join Jamison & Reece on their journey. You will laugh. You will want to slap some sense into them. You will love this book! Ooh, did I mention a baby? This book stands alone. I do recommend reading the previous books in both season one & two. Time. Well. Spent. This book contains adult themes and language, mm sex and is intended for mature readers only.
I didn't enjoy the first part of this book. Well actually it was the character Jamison who I wasn't crazy about. He had a very negative attitude that effected all his judgement. The target of the majority of his animus was his new police partner Reece. Someone who'd just come to town recently to lead a special task force.
I gave myself a couple days and came back to the book and began reading it from a different perspective. I considered it a comedy. And while it was outrageous in the number of coincidences as were Jamison's overreactions. I really liked Ty, Jamison's best friend and confidant. Just the person Jamison needed to continuously talk him down from he found himself on.
Reece was genuinely a nice guy, but he was on Jamison's bad side and he stayed there until Jamison accidentally discovered Reece was an Omega. From that point on when Jamison let his guard down he turned out to be just the Alpha Reece's Mom said he needed and deserved. I ended up enjoying the story a great deal more than I imagined I would.
Double Cherry Delight is book 4 in the multi-author Bake Sale Bachelors Season Two series. This is a sweet mpreg story about Jamison, an alpha, a cop, and a wonderful baker, and Reece, an omega, a new cop in town and Jamison's new partner, and a wonderful baker. Both Jamison and Reece put themselves up for the bachelor auction and they both baked the same cookies. Something Jamison got suspicious about since he created the recipe for the cookies. But Reece found the recipe from an online blog that Jamison posted. I really enjoyed watching Jamison and Reece as their relationship grew from Jamison not liking Reece at all because he thought Reece was sabotaging him, to them having some sexy fun at a spa. I'm glad they figured things out they really are so good for each other. My only thing is that I would've liked to have seen a biracial baby on the cover since Jamison and Reece are an interracial couple.
Most omegas are shorter and less muscular than alphas. So it was nice to see one that breaks the mold a bit. Reese is tall and very muscular. So much so that people think he's an alpha. Not all omegaverse books are like that but most that I've read are.
Jamison's crazy reactions to poor Reese were freaking hilarious! Especially when he was yelling at him in the mens room and kicked a trash can. He totally lost his mind! Which brings me to my next point, it was cool to have a story where the bachelor from the auction didn't end up with the person who bid on them.
All-in-all I have give props to the author for the uniqueness of the story. Even their careers were interesting. This book was a lot funnier than most of the Bake Sale Bachelor books and way less mushy.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It goes to show you that when the universe keeps throwing you curve balls, you best catch them and either hang on tight or toss them away. I loved Jamison and Reese and how they interacted with each other once Jamie got over himself and realised that he was attracted to Reese. They made a really cute couple and when the baby happened, that was fate stepping in.
I read this book through my kindle unlimited account and wanted to leave my honest review.
This is a quick read that is really cute and sweet. Jamison, an alpha, and Reece, an omega, are both cops and have been assigned to work together. Jamison is convinced Reese is purposefully doing things to upset him all the time. Reality is that their chemistry and attraction are combustible and once it explodes, it’s incredibly hot. Two words, Sauna Sex! That was awesome. Really enjoyed watching these two come together. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
This was a great addition to season two. The storyline in hot with a enemies to lovers plot. The characters Jamison (Jamie) and Reece work through many things and it was was fun to see them get together. You have sweets and cute a baby along with a HEA. Great Read
I loved Reese and Jamison! I think too much time was spent on Jamison being angry, that when they did get together it was rushed with very little feeling. Reese knew he was attracted to Jamison though but didn't act on it either. That bothered me. But it was a good story.
Alpha Jamison keeps running into his new partner Reece everywhere, and sparks follow. From cookies to dates to a spa day, it takes multiple trips before Jamison starts to realize that maybe the perfect omega is right in front of him. An adorable read with the perfect level of sappy and sweet.
A little candy bonbon. The set up was cute, the sauna sex was illicit. The cover does not reflect the guys’ descriptions which threw me a bit, to be honest. There’s not a lot of descriptors in the book but the few contradict the cover.
This book gripped me in a different way... I absolutely love that the author included POC in this book. It was more relatable for me...... This book was sweet and adorable it had me in a fantastic mood for the rest of my shift at work......
Confusing. I found this story to be extremely confusing. The lack of description for both MCs might have had a part in that... but overall, I just had a hard time keeping track of what was happening to who.
I liked this story. The characters were fun. Their story was an interesting mix of sweet and spice. I loved the dialogue. I received this as an arc and freely left this review.
Omg
