Who is Team Destiny you ask? Well, we're a rag-tag bunch of witches and werewolves, with a Shaman and a couple of lawmen thrown in for good measure. When the Goddess needs help, we're there for Her.
Sounds like some kind of science fiction or fantasy movie flick, doesn't it?
Nope. Just my life as I now know it.
The last month or so had been pretty quiet. No dead bodies showing up in awkward places. No crazy entities out to destroy the world. You know… the kinds of things that had become our usual challenges. The Universe appeared to be giving us a break for once.
Enough so that Mom and Dad convinced my Aunt Opal and her new husband, Ex-Sheriff Orville Taylor, to go on a belated honeymoon. Heaven knows my Aunt was long overdue for some rest and relaxation.
But wouldn't you just know that the very night after we dropped them off at the airport, all heck broke loose.
Belinda lives in a tiny house fairly close to McCormick’s Creek State Park in Indiana. She shares her home with a German Shepherd. Please note that any and all resemblances to Tazlynn Hunt, the main character in The Benandanti series, is purely coincidental.
Belinda White is not, in fact, a werewolf. No really, she isn't...
Short Cozy Mystery combines murder and paranormal juices. 🎃 Witch, Wolf. WITCH, WOLF! Haha 😜 That Destiny is cute little cat! Omgeeeez! 😻 Few romance, though! :P
** Damn magical covers of this series, I'm so obsessed **
I'm becoming more and more a fan of the writing of Belinda White, her world and characters are a pleasure to read and every story is full of wit and adventure, perfect to relax and unwind. This is a very well written book, that had me often laugh a bit too loudly and give up on chores to discover what was going to happen next. I'm looking forward to read the next instalment.
I’m not one who reviews books by going on and on about “word building” or giving a blow by blow account of the story, I’m just going to give my honest opinion about what I liked and did not like about the book. So, I like the characters in these stories. Amie is interesting and engaging. Destiny is a total treat, I hope to see more of her, and learn more about her, preferably from her point of view. That’s another thing I like about these series of books, the differing viewpoints. And that they’re from the female perspective. Sorry, but I can’t stand switching perspectives in a book, or the male point of view. I need a main character that I can identify with, and Amie with all of her strengths and insecurities is a good one. I like the story. These series are definitely unique in a market that is almost saturated with the “Just found out I’m a powerful witch, now what do I do” stories. What I have a problem with? The incredibly irritating and seriously overused phrase “My man”. It’s “My man” this and “My man” that. “My man loves this” and “My man is good at that”. A few “Her man” too. And the casual sexism. “Don’t tell the womenfolk”. Really??? Calling them girls. The male characters withholding information in order to “protect” their womenfolk. Or treating them and their professions as less than their own. I actually had to put the book down several times and leave it for a day or so. I hope the author corrects this, as I do enjoy the books and want to keep on reading every series, but I swear, if I have to read one more “My man” I might have to be done.
A dead werewolf, a growing power, secrets. Amie and Ruby are doing great with the business. But now they have to find out who murdered a prominent werewolf. An their investigation is hindered because the werewolf died in a jurisdiction run by an inept, bigoted Sheriff. This sheriff seems determined to pin the murder on Gray. And while all of this is going on, Amie is still hiding her new abilities. Her magic is growing out of proportion, and she is a danger to herself and others if she can’t find a way to safely release it on a regular basis. If the magical community finds out they could strip her of all magic. And a witch without magic is like a death sentence. Opal finally goes on her much delayed honeymoon. Of course there’s trouble- to be fair, when is there not?
Gray expected some simple property theft, but asked Amie to come check things out with him just in case. Good thing she dragged Trevor along with her - turns out there was deadly trouble afoot
Changes are in the air, and some affect family and near family dynamics in a way that might be realm challenging
With trouble and changes for Amie and Gray, Kim and Trevor face the trickle down effects- and the fallout might just change a number of their group dynamics
An exciting and MMA action filled adventure- who knew Amie used to be a local champ? Butt kicking fun!

Just after the "parent generation" of Team Destiny leaves for a one - week cruise, problems arise. Gray is called by the caretaker of his parents' graves and asked to come to the sight. He feels a threat, so he asks Amy and Opi (Trevor) to join him. They find the dead body of the local werewolf alpha. Gray becomes the main suspect to Sheriff Maynard.. Working around the secret of weres, which is the most likely reason for the murder makes this mystery intriguing and fun. The characters are their usual interesting selves and make the story engaging and fun to read. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I've read all books from the original series and now that 'Which of a...' books are achieved I'm on this series of Team Destiny books. More great action without the older generation this time. It gave the girls a chance to find their own footing for the team as well for their own forward motion for character development. I rather enjoyed all the fun this book had to offer. It made me crave more!!! I really hope the author can continue to keep writing in all 3 of the series. It would be nice to see the werewolf series get a new one two 3 books weren't enough. I recommend all the books in the series that Belinda White writes. She's awesome.
Amie and Trevor are asked by Grey for help with a call he received. They go with him to go to his family grave, there is a surprise waiting for them. There is a dead man buried in his family plot. They will have to work together to find out who committed the crime. There is more going on with Grey than what they had even know.
This was a great book to read. You will enjoy the mystery as it unfolds and the characters that are involved. I recommend this book

Put together all the goodness, sassiness & magick of the paranormal world and you have Team Destiny.
When the push comes to shove, when the dark seems to be overwhelming, Amie, Ruby, Opal, Arc, Opie and everyone else, will be there to walk the Goddess's path towards lightness.
I had been missing Amie and Opie (aka Trevor) & Ruby and Arc with all their familiars, this was a great comeback and I simply loved it.

I just loved this book because that is the way it always goes whenever all the parents go away and you could really use them they are on a cruise. Not only is there new powers emerging but they may have an alpha wolf that was murdered what will they do well probably bumble around until they find out who dis it but that is what I love about these books they as in ami and opi are just like you and me ami just happens to have witchy powers but she's still trying to learn to work them.

Why is someone not Gray, buried in Gray's grave? No, Gray isn't dead but it is where he will be buried.
Turns out, the body is that of Madden the alpha of the local werewolf pack.
Who killed Madden? Why is he in Gray's plot? Why was he killed? Amie and the Destiny team are called upon to figure out these things. All of this while Amie learns how to rid herself of an overload of magic, the two sets of newlyweds being on a cruise to Alaska, and just day to day stress.
Things shouldn't always - if ever - be taken at face value If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, maybe it IS a duck, right? Wrong! Every story, every incident, every thing that happens always has more than one point of view. In a world of magic, mystery, witches, werewolves and such, never EVER forget this important rule! Fantastic read! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
They are a group of witches and lawmen who looks into strange events. Although it has been quiet for a while so they send their aunt and new husband on a belated honeymoon. They had spoken too soon, as soon as they left the airport trouble came looking. What trouble will they face now? Can they solve? Can they do it without their aunt? See if they can

Terrific new series with a cast of paranormals in a team. Each one unique and determined. A werewolf is dead and was put in an empty grave, in a jurisdiction that does not work well with the team. The banter and situations are hilarious and the mystery is unexpected. I would love to be a team with these guys as your days would never be boring at all.

Let's see, is there a murder? Check. How about a wrong arrest, yep. How about a less than stellar cop? You got it. But Destiny's troup is there to save the day. Of course, Amie is front and center of the action. With help from the Goddess and Destiny along the way. In other words, another very nice paranormal story from Belinda for your enjoyment.
This is a great witchy cozy mystery. It’s well written and draws you in with the murder, mystery and intrigue. It’s an exciting read with some incredible characters, there’s witches, there’s werewolves and there’s even a shaman oh and don’t forget Destiny the familiar and will have you cracked up on places. I loved it!
This is such a fun series of series. I have enjoyed every book in each individual series and love how they all play together. This is Grey’s story and how a found a pack. Or did the pack find him? Toss up! Don’t worry, Amie and Destiny have a key role to play. Like finding a murderer and getting rid of excess magical energy. Small things really. Sort of. Okay, nothing burned down people.
This series is a hoot. A mixture of paranormal cozy mystery, romance, family and action. Filled with all types of quirky, unique and interesting characters. Want a good read while giggling every so often this book and series is for you.
This is a great start to this new series. We know the characters from another Belinda White series but it isn't necessary to have read those to enjoy this mystery. Great characters and a well plotted mystery.
This even started out giving me a lol moment! I love Team Destiny and all the things they get up to. Fantastic characters and the story never disappoints. Keep them coming!

Well, to probably repeat what others have said- I really love this series. Looking forward to the next one released and hopping it’s soon. Meanwhile I plan to work my way through the author’s other books.
Thought this was a really good book--the story was interesting and kept my attention throughout the book. I am a fan of paranormal stories and mysteries, so this hit most of my buttons. The characters are likeable, family means everything to them. Recommend reading.
