Scientists say super AI, computer brain implants and other futuristic technologies are still decades away. They are lying.
AI, Quantum and nano tech, beyond what most believe possible, have already been developed.
They exists. Science fiction is real.
People are using these amazing breakthroughs today. Corrupt and greedy people.
What about monopolizing the food supply? Monopolizing fresh water? Manipulating human DNA? Manipulating the masses. Controlling the weather? Controlling the masses.
Technologies so dangerous, we are all at risk . . . Everything, the whole ball game, humanity, the planet itself could be lost.
It’s happening now. It may be too late to stop . . . unless a brilliant engineer together with one of the world’s most lethal spies can find the evildoers before they themselves are found.

This box set contains the first three books of the Chase Malone CHASING RAIN - CHASING FIRE - CHASING WIND Each book is a complete adventure - series can be read in any order.
USA TODAY Bestselling Author Brandt Legg uses his unusual real life experiences to create page-turning novels. He’s traveled with CIA agents, dined with senators and congressmen, mingled with astronauts, chatted with governors and presidential candidates, had a private conversation with a Secretary of Defense he still doesn’t like to talk about, hung out with Oscar and Grammy winners, had drinks at the State Department, been pursued by tabloid reporters, and spent a birthday at the White House by invitation from the President of the United States.
At age eight, Legg's father died suddenly, plunging his family into poverty. Two years later, while suffering from crippling migraines, he started in business, and turned a hobby into a multi-million-dollar empire. National media dubbed him the “Teen Tycoon,” and by the mid-eighties, Legg was one of the top young entrepreneurs in America, appearing as high as number twenty-four on the list (when Steve Jobs was #1, Bill Gates #4, and Michael Dell #6). Legg still jokes that he should have gone into computers.
By his twenties, after years of buying and selling businesses, leveraging, and risk-taking, the high-flying Legg became ensnarled in the financial whirlwind of the junk bond eighties. The stock market crashed and a firestorm of trouble came down. The Teen Tycoon racked up more than a million dollars in legal fees, was betrayed by those closest to him, lost his entire fortune, and ended up serving time for financial improprieties.
After a year, Legg emerged from federal prison, chastened and wiser, and began anew. More than twenty-five years later, he’s now using all that hard-earned firsthand knowledge of conspiracies, corruption and high finance to weave his tales. Legg’s books pulse with authenticity.
His series have excited nearly a million readers around the world. Although he refused an offer to make a television movie about his life as a teenage millionaire, his autobiography is in the works. There has also been interest from Hollywood to turn his thrillers into films. With any luck, one day you’ll see your favorite characters on screen.

I was quite impressed with the author (Brandt Legg) of these books. He kept the story very interesting while making you want to read it faster to know the outcome. It was believable and I sincerely hope that the premise of the story never happens, even though it would be good for the earth. But human nature being what it is, the technology wouldn’t be safe without stringent and unbreakable surveillance, laws and regulations along with incorruptible people in charge. And I know humankind is not there yet!
These surprisingly well written books introduce us to our worst nightmare. Our world is no longer democratic but ruled by corporations and secret government organizations. I know this sounds a little like conspiracy theory but there is probably more than a little truth in the idea. Read, be worried, do something to stop it happening, or run for the hills
Kinda like a Tom Cruise Mission Impossible movie with lots of harrowing twists and turns. Gobs of people getting killed and shot at. Something like another James Bond thriller racing all over the southwest. But it definitely makes you want to grab the next episode.
This was the first three Books in the Chase Malone Thriller Book Series .
If these first three books are any indication of the rest of this series than sign me up . I truly enjoyed reading about Chase and Wen and the cooky but often dangerous adventures . Looking forward to the rest of this series .
What will happen now WEN and Chase have caught up with Lindy. Does Lindy have all the answers? Will they survive to go through the final tests. Will the "final" tests be just that.......FINAL....... Who will become the winner overall. Will any nation have the ultimate in weather control or will weather control destroy all in its path ?
This group of books were definitely page turners. The science part and how scientists tried to control weather and other things in our world was quiet scary. It is probably even being researched and worked on now in our world, and that is even scarier. The books were awesome and I really enjoyed them.
All three of these books following Chase and Wen through locating an invention that Chase played a part in inventing but now potentially will be unleashed on the world. Each of these books were action filled, fast paced and thoroughly enjoyable.
I really enjoyed listening to the audio versions of these books. Brilliantly narrated
This first three books in the Chasing Secrets series is a fast-paced, action filled read. Some might find the "tech" stulff a little) daunting but it is very relevant to the storylines. AI, computer generated weather, constant chases from a collection of Chinese and American and other agencies make for plenty of action, and many dead bodies along the way.
I have to admit, I could not finish this book. It sounded like a computer wrote the book. There was absolutely no emotion in the book. Each sentence was written to express a exact thought to keep the book flowing. No matter how I tried I couldn't finish.
These books are a bit unbelievable, like James Bond movies. Then again who know, right? But like the Bond movies they are exciting and so much fun to read. I have bought the next series in these and am looking forward to Chase and When's next adventures.
Again quite an unbelievable journey with Malone and Wen but still giving an insight into how technologies may be developed with the results being for good or evil. So a mix of high action, weird tech, security services and ethics.
I was hooked from the very beginning. It was hard to put down and do other things. I enjoyed following the adventures of Chase and Wen. Not a dull moment.
Interesting set of ideas. Good character development. Some of the ideas are based on conspiracy theories that hold no weight. Some of the science is bad. Still entertaining and fast paced.
