⚠️NO LEER SI NO HAS LEÍDO ESTE LIBRO Y NO CONOCES LA SAGA THE SHADOW WALKER ⚠️ > > > >
Vamos a ver, Sloane Murphy.
Me sorprendió. Espero ver cómo se desarrolla en los siguientes libros, además de querer comprobar si ella en realidad es la que une a la futura reina de la sombras con sus 4 jinetes.

Meh, I thought this was mediocre, but it basically skirts by as fine. I have no desire to continue the series, but I didn’t dislike the book enough to DNF. So…I guess it is what it is. It felt like it was written with a lot of tropes, but not much of an apparent plot until right at the end.
The reader barely gets to know anyone. The character descriptions are very shallow. This is made worse by the fact that just about the time you get used to one mate, he gets left behind while the FMC goes off with the next. It felt abrupt and a bit like a betrayal. And I did not find the pseudo-noncon humiliation kink/trope to be a positive replacement. I could have done without that entirely. I suppose that leaves room for character development and growth on the part of mate number two. But since I won’t be around for it, the whole thing just left a bitter taste.
I found the descriptions of the FMC really inconsistent. She’ll threaten to kick someone’s ass, but she’s so weak and untrained. She talks like such a badass, but she’s so sheltered and untried. She’s so powerful, but completely unaware of what she’s capable of, and is chronically underestimated. She’s a princess, but not like other royals or girls. (She actually uses the phrase “I’m not like other girls” about herself, even.) This last one begs the question: if she’s raised in the same environment as everyone else, how did she and her brother miraculously turn out to be different?
Lastly, let’s talk about the “Fucks.” Look, I curse like a sailor and fully understand that a well-placed “fuck” can be very effective. So, I am not being prudish when I say this. But the word is used far, far, far too frequently in this book. It is so often unnecessary in the sentence that it clutters the dialogue, and, worse, makes all the characters sound the same because they all sprinkle it liberally in their speech in precisely the same way. Eventually, it just started to grate on my nerves.
Look, I’m not saying this was a bad book. It’s readable, and the narrator did a fine job. But I am saying it didn’t do anything for me. I just got to the end and was annoyed with it.
Getting to see Morgan from the beginning was very exciting. I loved seeing her relationships develop with those we know are going to be her harem, future horsemen, in the future. Steady paced story with great characters. It was a punch to the gut with the cliffhanger! We see some characters from previous books in a different POV. Overall a great read and great start and continuation of Sloane Murphy's Seven Realms world.
If you’ve started The Seven Realms Saga you’ll have been introduced to the magnificently constructed world where Angels and Demons are just a taste of the creatures in play. Where nothing, and I mean NOTHING is what it seems and the more you read the thicker and more twisted the plot becomes. While the Shadow walker Saga and the Shadow Weaver Series both close the stories of Remy and Fallon, they are just a tiny portion of the story meant to unravel as you follow the Seven Realms Saga.
I started from book one where I fell in love with Remy and the family that she creates. The mysteries, twists, turns, and mind blowing revaluations had me hooked immediately. I then relived some of the most exciting and tragic moments of the story through Fallon’s point of view and only fell in love more with the saga. Through it all I’ve been intrigued by Morgan and her guys and have loved the dynamic that she has had with ALL of the characters, so getting to have her story is amazing.
When I say this book is EVERYTHING, I mean it! Even after the previous 9… yes I said 9 books I didn’t think it could get any better, but boy oh boy has Sloane Murphy proven me wrong. It’s almost as if she’s been teasing us along the way, guiding us through the shadows and now we are about to see what it’s really all about. I was not ready for what was coming. I am LOVING the slow buildup of the story and I anxiously waiting for the mind blowing explosion.
The lies, secrets, and domination by means of fear and depravity, are just the beginning of what you are in for when you dive into The Shadow Queen by Sloane Murphy. While it is hinted at that Morgan has a troubled past, it is just that a HINT, because Morgan’s life was some kind of miserable. However the tides are beginning to turn and I look forward to watching Morgan grow throughout the next books
Audio Review: The Shadow Queen #1 (Seven Realms Saga Series) a dark rh romance ♥️. I have not read/listened to any other books in the seven realms series, but I absolutely loved this one. The world building is excellent and it didn't even feel like I missed anything. I loved the conceptualization of various realms. Supernatural creatures angels and demons, in a intriguing world. The storyline is engaging, suspenseful with unpredictable plot twists and sensual moments. I loved Morganna Voux, her brother Ares and Caleb is a favorite of mine. I absolutely loved this story.
Jeannie Sheneman did an excellent performance of narrating this spicy and special entertaining audio. Her inflection was bold. She gave characters a distinct tone and expresses their thoughts.
Highly recommend listening this audio. A stellar performance for a top notch audiobook.
When I read the blurb, I was sooo in! But then I fell behind on my other arcs so I was a bit frazzled by the time I got to this. But boy, was this such a good book!!!!
It's a completely new series but it's part of the Seven Realms world by Sloane. I loved this book so much that I'm now setting up some time to dive into the Seven Realms, total of 10 books so far!
One thing I do have to say, is that the dialogue/interaction between Morgan and Amelia felt a little weird to me and Ares came on a little creepy (to me!) . But other than that, the writing was great.
If you like a kick ass, confident female lead, and some hot HOT hot HOT scenes, I highly recommend this one! I loved how even at her most vulnerable, she was still so sure of herself and confident, that she just powers through those moments.
And that ending...OMG! Just wow...
Can't wait to see what Morgan does next. And how things are going to play out with Caleb and Malik!
The book we’ve been waiting for does not disappoint. Damn you for the cliff hanger, I just want to continue to devour this story, it doesn’t even matter that I know the end result. Morgan and her men’s storylines are great!
Audio: The narrator was overall okay, though at times she did sound a bit robotic. Those moments would take me out of the story. I’d listen to more books in her voice, if she improved upon her delivery. 3-star performance.
So going through all these books in the span of a couple months, I fell for this world and these characters. I liked Morgan but I wasn't as in love with her as a character as I was with Remy (makes sense because we only saw glimpses of her). I loved Caleb because of his interactions and cameos in Remy and Fallon's books. I also really previously had liked some of the other guys we got some 1-1 time with but I wasn't prepared for all their back stories and I think I might love this series the same if not more than Remy's (which is really hard to imagine haha). I devoured this book and didnt want it to end and then scoured the internet to see when the next book was coming out. I try to keep listening to a series but there is a rare occasion where I need to know what happens next so badly I will read the ebook because I am too invested and can't wait for the audio to follow. Unfortunately no additional ebooks yet in this planned 5-book series, but know that this one was soooooo good I was willing to break my self control and read before waiting to listen haha.
This back story is just what I would have imagined and so much more. I loved seeing glimpses of the Morgan we eventually know she becomes, seeing her personality come through the more she is aware from her dreadful father. Seeing the love she and Ares shared, how they looked out for each other and the epitomes of amazing siblings. We finally get to see how she met her guys and I was shocked at how she met them and who they were before becoming the 4 Horsemen. I was super shocked about one in particular and how much I want to slap him upside the head. Caleb was always my favorite of the guys and he definitely cemented that. I am intrigued by Killian as well (we don't get as much time with him in the other books, so that will be refreshing when we get his focused book). I liked that all the guys come from different parts of life and that some knew each other beforehand. I loved seeing how Morgan's powers manifested and got stronger and cooler as the book went on. At some point she is going to be stronger than her dad and I can't wait for her to overthrow him and become the Queen we all loved. I also loved the details with the side characters, the animals, then scenery. It was fantastic, I think one of the author's best works.
In terms of the narration, I think this is the first time I have heard this narrator and she did great for the female parts but not so much for the male parts. I would overall give her a 5 for the female characters and like a 3.5 for the males. This audiobook would have been elevated with duet narration (or even dual for that matter) because there were a ton of male characters. She didn't do their voice justice in my opinion but again overall I enjoyed it and will listen to the rest of the series even if it's just the one female narrator. The emotion we got in regards to one of the 4 Horsemen who we all kinda hate right now, the big conflict at the end, the horribleness of her father, all fabulous and really helped the reader immerse themselves into this world.
Oh and be prepared...like you knew something was going to go down, because of hints in previous books, but you didn't know when or how. Just be ready to have your heart wrenched out and stomped on. It's because we fall for this character so much is why its so devastating. Despite that, I would still recommend this audiobook but I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND reading/listening to Remy's 6 book series and Fallon's trilogy before this one. It makes the scenes and Easter eggs and tie-ins that much more special.
An addictive and fun dark romantic fantasy 5 stars overall, 5 stars story, 5 stars narration
This is a dark romantic fantasy with a cliffhanger and lots of mature content. The next book in the series will be released in November 2022, according to Amazon, so I’ll have to wait a while to get more of this epic story. I had no idea when I started it that I would love this audiobook, but it totally won me over. I picked this book because it had a hell-like setting like that of the “Welcome to Hell” series by Eve Langlais. I was pleased by the imaginative but not very detailed world-building.
There is a lot of mature content in this audiobook, including torture and murder perpetrated by the villains, lots of cussing with the f-word, and one scene that seems like sexual abuse and dubious consent. The book is told only from the first-person perspective of the heroine, Morgana, the princess of the Shadow Realm. She used the f-word often, sometimes once per minute, like a Scorsese or Tarantino movie. To me this indicated that Morgana had an inadequate vocabulary, but I got used to it. The romance between Morgana and her true love Caleb was lovely. They had complete respect and compassion for each other, and each love scene was very consensual. The romance was a slow burn at first, but the love scenes became more and more steamy and kinky over time. The scene of dubious consent and sexual abuse took place between Morgana and another man late in the novel. It wasn’t really cheating because Caleb and Morgana knew it had to happen and it was beyond Morgana’s control.
I was very pleased with the unpredictable plot, fascinating minor characters, and the travel around interesting places in the Shadow Realm and other realms. I also loved the magic in the story. I really liked Morgana, Caleb, and Morgana’s brother Ares. They were all basically compassionate, good people who tried to make the best moral choices as they tried to survive the horrors of the siblings’ psychopathic, murderous father. The story took me through all the emotions: happiness, fear, humor, sadness, hatred, and shock. I recommend this to anyone who wants a dark romantic fantasy that will take them on a wild roller coaster ride.
I requested and received a free audiobook copy via #AudiobookObsession and the #Flock VIP Review Team, and I voluntarily wrote this honest review.
Holy fluckity fluck! I was so far in the story, like I was actually there in the shadow realm, watching and experiencing every part of it. The pain, anger, angst, anxiety, strength, love (familial, friendly and romantic), disdain, distaste, disgust, hate, joy, friendship, fear, curiosity, lust, passion, ill at ease, abject loneliness, solitude, revulsion, satisfaction, respect, happiness, shock ( good and bad), power play, political propaganda, tradition, abject cruelty and destruction, courage, stress, utter devastation (physical and emotional), nervousness, moroseness, moodiness, secretive, loyalty (to ruler(!), lover, friends and family), snarkiness, smarminess, sleaziness (like a Tory government (😏😁😂)), fun, loveliness and freedom! Yes I felt every one of those, in the way that the author meant, as in I witnessed the destruction and and felt the devastation. It is a relatively fast flowing rollercoaster ride. I loved every minute of it, and sadly, understood the horror and pain, inflicted by parent to their child(ren) all too well. This is something that many readers will understand too much, due to their own personal experience, which is something that may be a trigger for some that are still mentally and/or emotionally living this. Although the story doesn't contain much in the way of this, but refers to this at times, and the consequence of action stemming from it. I only mention it as a wee heads up, because I personally experience something somewhat similar, and am no longer affected by this, either mentally, emotionally or physically, understand how and why it could affect others. But in saying that, it is a bloody(no pun intended), fantastically, brilliantly awesome story. It flows so well. There is no confusing moments, that seem out of place. You fall in love with the characters that you should, and apathy towards the others. I absobloodylutely loved it. Sloane my girl you done good!!! I can't wait for book 2.
If you've not read any of Sloanes' work before, I suggest that you start at the very beginning of the Shadow Walker Saga, with A Crown of Blood and Bone. You really won't be disappointed. Have fun and enjoy the ride!
Wow! OK I am totally addicted to this series.... Just strap yourself in cos you are in for one hell of a ride.
The shadow queen is Morgan's story and boy what a story she has. You got hints in the previous books of the saga but here you get a proper look at her past and how she became the person we all know and love. There are so many sides to her and some of them really surprised me but it goes to show how amazing Sloane's writing is because Morgan is definetly a multifaceted character.
There was so much happening in this book, there was action, adventure, steamy scenes.... The lot. There were lots of ahhh that's why this happened moments and also some omg what moments too! I know that potentially you could start the saga here but to get those things that happen in the book I suggest you read Remy's and Fallon's stories starting with A Crown of Blood and Bone.
There were also a plethora of side characters that are in the book, some we have met before others are new but it was interesting trying to work out who was essential to the story and whether some were there as red herrings.
The book does end on a cliffy but I guess that is expected when we have been told that Morgan's story will span 5 books and I was seething when I finished but I guess looking back at some of the other books in the saga the ending was not as bad as some of the cliffy's we have had previously.
I can't believe I have to wait till September now for the next one.... However a reread and a note book will be needed so that I can start making sense of all the links.
Actual rating 4.5 I listened to this as an audio and it was giving everything!
I absolutely love Sloan Murphy and the worlds she brings us.
I love this book. It’s different and out of the norm for a PNR and I enjoy the different takes on what supernatural creatures or even the paranormal world could be. Sloan always thinks outside the box and it makes reading her books an amazing adventurous experience.
I love the characters. I like how Sloan doesn’t highlight just the main characters but that all the characters she introduces have a role and are there for a reason and stay relevant in the story. Each character is well written and bring something different to the story, I love the balance between them and their banter is great. So far all the characters have awesome chemistry and I’m looking forward to seeing how their characters and relationships develop over the series.
This is an amazing world and I was reminiscent of the shadow Walker saga and that world. I love how it’s not a supernatural experience I’ve had before and everything is new and unique. I have read so much paranormal so I love when there’s something out of the norm and it makes me excited for the world development and what else we can expect going forward. The plot is well written and takes you on a journey. It’s easy to read and the narrator did a great job in bringing it to life. I cannot wait to see what happens next in the series.
Morganna Voux is a demon princess, royalty of one of the most powerful realms. She is sheltered in many ways, but at the same time, she’s also witnessed truly horrible things. The demon realm is a truly dark place, but the monsters that lurk there are darker, especially Morganna’s father, the king. Morganna loves her hellhounds and her older brother Ares more than anything in this world. She’s absolutely thrilled when her father allows her to go on a tour of the realms with Ares, simply because it gets her out from under his thumb. But she didn’t expect her life to change the way it did, from one simple meeting…
Oh my gosh. Sloane Murphy delivers again with this amazing look into Morganna’s early life. Fans of Murphy’s books know that Morganna is a prominent figure in her other series, the Shadow Weaver Series, which is a part of the Shadow Walker Saga. Both of these books should be read before “The Shadow Queen.”
Anyways, I’m completely obsessed with young Morganna! She’s a complete and total bada**. I love how she’ll do anything for the people she loves, and how she doesn’t let her father break her. And that ending… holy heck, I don’t know how I’m going to be able to wait for the next one!!! Cliffhanger much, Miss Murphy?!?!? This book was an amazing read, and if you love steamy paranormal romance, this is the book for you!
I absolutely love Sloane Murphy and her incredible creativity and fascinating world-building. The Shadow Queen is a wonderfully written, reverse harem paranormal romance, a Seven Realms instalment, and set in the shadow realm. The supernatural creatures are absolutely fascinating, angels, demons, and various fantastical creatures. The storyline is wholly engaging, super entertaining, exciting, and unpredictable. The plot twists didn't relent; they kept coming, keeping me at the edge of my seat. I loved it!
Our heroine, Morgan, the Shadow Queen, is an incredibly appealing and competent character with so many layers to her personality. I was super excited to finally hear her story, and I enjoyed every minute. She was easy to connect with; I could feel her anxieties, fear, worry, and excitement. Her journey is an intense adventure, suspenseful, action-packed, and with loads of steam. The book ended with a cliffhanger, and I'm super excited to find what comes next for Morgan.
Outstanding narration by Jeannie Sheneman. She portrayed the characters flawlessly, bringing the various and colourful personalities to life. Overall, The Shadow Queen was a fascinating paranormal listen, one I'm highly recommending.
It’s official, I am obsessed with this series! This is the tenth book in The Seven Realms Saga and it is a spellbinding read from cover to cover. Morgan, aka Morganna, is the princess of the Shadow Realm with the Demon King for a father. By her father’s side, along with her brother Ares, she has witnessed abhorrent atrocities. As she is finally of age, the time has come when she is given permission to leave the realm and go on a tour of the other realms with her brother and her hellhounds. However, Morgan never expected her life to shift so abruptly when she comes in contact with a stranger. Over the course of this storyline, readers see Morgan coming into her own; protecting those she loves and doing what must be done when it comes to dealing with her father. Overall, this is one book that you will not be able to put down so ensure you have plenty of time to sit and read because once you start, you will not want to stop. If you are drawn to reading steamy paranormal books, then this is one to immediately one click and add to your reading list. I highly recommend this book and cannot wait for the next installment!
Absolutely fantastic! Reading The Shadow Walker’s Saga and The Shadow Weaver series, I knew I loved Morgan and her guys. However I didn’t expect to love her as much as I did. Reading the other books, gave hints and little details here and there about Morgan and her past but I honestly didn’t expect there to be so much. I had book rage throughout this book, it was a real problem. I threw my kindle a couple of times. I fell in love with Caleb all over again, and it was absolutely amazing to see bits of characters from the other books. Watching Morgan come into her own, is amazing. I absolutely love Morgan. I just have no words to describe how much I loved this book. I am so ready for book 2, is it too soon to start counting the days until Release Day? Sloane Murphy is a phenomenal writer who gets you hooked on her bad*ss FMC’s, mouthwatering hot guys and her magical worlds. The Shadow Queen is by far my favourite sloane read, and that’s saying something seen as, The Shadow Walker books are some of my all time favourite reads.
This book was everything that i wanted about Morgan and her back story. I don't have any words to describe how amazing this story was with what Morgan went through before she became the Shadow Queen, there was so many twists to this story that it will keep you turning the pages and holding your breath through out. There was lots of action along with suspense that it will have you gripped no knowing how this was all going to pan out.
Caleb what can is say about this guy, if i loved him before when we met him he now is my favourite out of them all, he is one hot sexy male phew!! But that ending 'WHAT' I new it was going to happen sometime but was not prepared at all for how it happened. I must mention them hellhounds that go everywhere with Morgan as she loves them as much as her older brother Ares.
Can't wait for the next book as this is going to become my new favourite series i just know it if they are anything like this first book we are in for a ride of our lives along with Morgan and her guys. Absolutely Brilliant first book. as Sloane delivers yet again a superb start to a series.
Morganna is a princess in the Shadow Realm who has been protected from outside forces but that didn’t mean she was protected within her home. She despises her father for the things he has said and done and knows he is not fit to rule but her primary concern is the safety of her brother who is heir apparent. She has recently found out she has undiscovered powers however if her father finds out it will surely lead to her demise.
Caleb and Morganna realized that they were each other’s destiny from the moment they met. The chemistry between them is intense and the love enduring as he is willing to do whatever he can to support her as she handles the challenges that life throws at her.
Suspense, surprises and steam as the events unfold which leaves us wanting more of the characters and their story. I thought the narrator managed to portray all elements of the story and kept you invested from beginning to end. 🎧 Audiobook Obsession
The Shadow Queen by Sloane Murphy is a paranormal romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Jeannie Sheneman. This is the first book in The Shadow Queen series.
This is the second book of Sloane's that I have read, and it definitely won't be my last. I was pulled in from the first chapter and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. The book ends on a great cliffhanger that left me begging for more. I can't wait for the next book in the series The Shadow Bound to be released on December 31, 2022.
Jeannie did an amazing job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of her work in the future.
I would recommend this book if you like paranormal romances, fantasy romances, dark romances, forced marriage romances, or reverse harem romances.
I’m not gonna lie, the ending of this book kind of killed some of my enjoyment. Through all the dark and crazy twists and turns, I was along for the ride and enjoying it for the most part. But I hate getting to know and really liking a character just for something bad to happen to them. Especially when they’ve already been through so much and they were a good person. I liked this book enough to be interested to see what comes next, but my excitement has definitely lessened because of how this ended. Overall, a good foundation was laid for Morgan and where her journey might lead. And the narrator did a good job with her performance. I’ll just have to be on the look out for the next book to come out on audio and cross my fingers that what comes next won’t be any more tragic then what occurred here. 🎧The Flock🎧
I've been intrigued by Morgan and her Horsemen since we met them in Remy's books and man Sloane does NOT disappoint with this kick off to the series!
There's some new characters to meet and fall in love with, but what I loved most was learning more about Morgan seeing her grow 🖤
I'm so excited to see how things unfold for Morgan in the next books 😍
Sorry I know my review is super vague but if you haven't read the Shadow Walkers Saga or Shadow Weavers Series then I'll be giving major spoilers!
I just can't get enough of this world that Sloane has built for us, in these strange times we all need an escape and I can't thank Sloane enough for giving me that 🖤
The Shadow Realm is dark but the monsters there are darker, at one with the shadows and out for blood.
"Do not dwell on the darkness. We may be born of monsters but, that doesn't make us monsters."
These words beat back the darkness that rises within Morgan and set the tone for her story, her journey and her life.
I am beside myself with excitement to discover how Morgan met her horsemen. Who were they before, where did they come from, how did their relationship begin and grow?!
This first book delivered on every front!! The world building, character craft and development is utterly spell binding, Sloane has smashed it out of the park.
I am strapped in and ready for this ride because I know its going to be wild!! Bring on the next installment!!!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, after reading all the previous Shadow Walker book, I was eager to read Morgan's story. I was not disappointed there were a lot of twists and turns, setting up for the next books, Am glad that Malik isn't a total dick like he is in this book. Caleb was just how I imagined he is awesome. These books are a must to read, had trouble not reading them in one go lol. Even though I only managed that with one book at a time. And even though I have kindle unlimited I still bought the set including the Shadow Weaver set too. An exciting and exhilarating read don't miss out Sloane Murphy is an excellent writer keep them coming is all I can say.
After getting to know the Shadow Queen in both the Shadow Walker Saga and the Shadow Weaver series I am so glad we get her story and the story of how her harem came to be. First off, this book is absolutely epic! Morgan has a very dark past, and from what we see of her men in this book, many of them have a dark history also.
I also love seeing little hints at other characters from the first two series in this larger world. You might even see a very familiar face 😉.
This book revolves mostly around Caleb and Morgan, which we learned from the previous series was the first of her men. I also love learning a bit about why she connected so strongly with Caleb, and I can’t wait to see more from each of the other men as this sweeties goes on.
Whoa!! What an amazing story! I had so many emotions running through me while listening to this. The author did an wonderful job creating these Realms. I loved learning about them and meeting all the characters that live in them. I have made so many notes about this book and everything that has happened. I love the characters as they all either good, bad or untrustworthy. That out a special “zing” in the storyline. My only complaint is that the next one isn’t out on audio yet.
I did listen to this delightful gem on audio. The narration is wonderfully done. Its been a while since I have listened to just one narrator read the whole story. Jeannie Sheneman did outstanding being all the characters. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this and am eager for the next one.
I absolutely loved learning more about Morgan and her back story, it was dark and delicious with brilliant twists and turns at every point!
When reading the Shadow Walker saga I always adored Morgan and her guys, so I was super excited when I found out she was getting her own series, the author Sloane Murphy really went all out with this amazing book, I went through a wide range of emotions and found myself immersed within the storyline and really emotionally invested in certain characters!
I'm super excited for the next book and to find out more about the characters I've already fallen in love with ❤
It’s like I blinked and I was reading the last page of the book. I’ve loved Morgan since the beginning when we met her in Remy’s books. The trials that Morgan goes through growing into her own is both heartbreaking and thrilling. What her dad puts both her and her brother through is absolute crap but I have no doubt that she will make him pay for his asshole ways. Seeing how she meets the first of her guys was perfectly done and lived up perfectly to she silly happy go lucky way. I’m excited to read the rest her story and (re)meet the rest of her guys with their stories as well.
Sloane Murphy spun her magic and caught me in her web again ! I highly recommend Morgan's series. For those of you who don't know Morgan ( the Queen of the underworld and 4 hot horsemen), well she finally has her own series. She was a pivotal and loved character in another of Sloane's series. She is a woman who doesn't mind asking someone to hold her crown while she kicks behinds. I highly suggest to anyone who just loves a great story, to enter Sloane's world. You will not be disappointed.
I received an e-arc of this book for an honest review💖
Fast paced. Interesting characters and world that pull you into the story right away! Things escalated really quickly with the love interest and Morganna. Spicy.🔥 The worldbuilding and the Seven realms are quite interesting. The magic powers in this are so fun. Overall such a fun and spicy read ! I felt this was more character driven, than plot driven. I definitely recommend you give this one a go! I read this one without reading any of the other books in the series and everything made perfect sense 💕.
