The women’s volleyball coach at Cascade University, Jim Sams, loved fly-fishing, his two grown daughters and their families and coaching his team. Little did he know that being on the river that day would entangle him in the mystery of a woman’s body that he found on a riverbank.Being hounded by two detectives intent on finding Jim responsible for the woman’s death was bad enough, but now he felt obligated to help find a former player of his that had disappeared. His quest to locate and possibly rescue the missing girl became an obsession. The challenge would be keeping up his duties at he University, his relationship with his daughters and the new woman in his life as he formulated and executed his plan.The more Jim learned about who was responsible for his player’s abduction, and possibly the death of the woman on the riverbank, a deep-seated anger awakened in him. He knew he had to be careful not to let that anger cause him to make any mistakes as he tried to locate the culprit behind their pain and suffering. Now it was time to use the mobility afforded him by his job and his knowledge of the river to exact revenge.
