Christmas Puck
Alley Ciz

It was so bittersweet reading this novella. For one it reminded me how much I love my BTU crew but it also reminded me how very far away the next book is. And it was so short. I mean really Alley you know how needy we all are.

Obviously it was great to catch up with Jordan and Jake but I wanted a super long extended visit. I miss the full coven and not even getting a tease of them in this novella was just mean.

I feel like such a toddler having a tantrum because I only got 1 ice cream but seriously WHERE'S MY OTHER ICECREAM?

Blue Christmas
Ginger Scott

It's been so long since I read the falling series and I can't even pretend that I remember them. But if Ginger Scott writes it, I'm going to read it so here we are. Add in the fact this anthology is supporting a cause I hugely support run by a woman I massively admire, it was an instant one click.

This novella was super sweet and even though I have forgotten everything about it I still got warm fuzzies reading it. Obviously it was pretty short and I read it with a huge smile. Now I just wish I had time for a reread.

My review is for Christmas Puck by Alley Ciz. The BTU alumni short story about the OG’s Jake and Jordan from Power Play, Alley’s first book. She has come a long way since writing this couple. In every book Alley has written, one of them make their appearance some way or somehow and I’m so happy she chose Jake and Jordan for this anthology. This snippet was sweet, sexy and fun. Alley’s pun game is hilarious and I can’t seem to get enough. I loved it! Alley has really flourished as a writer and I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next!

Just when you thought you got your HEA, these authors are giving us a peak into the holidays for some of our favorite characters. All of these stories will have you falling in love all over again.

While I wasn't familiar with all of the stories, they all were fulfilling and captivating and some have made me want to go back and read the characters' stories from the beginning.

The following are short reviews on the stories that I was familiar with.

Christmas Puck is Alley Ciz's extended bonus scene in Jake and Jordan's POV. These two are the OG's and it was neat to read a story that takes place between Power Play and Tap Out since their was quite a jump in time between them. Alley did not disappoint with this bonus scene AT ALL!

Kiss Before Midnight is a crossover of Anna B. Doe's New York Knights series and Blairwood University series. This story is about Grace, JD's sister, and young love.
It's an incredibly sweet story that has Yasmin before her story Kiss To Forget.
This story story gave me all the feels!

The Cabin by LA Cotton is a Rixon Raiders and Verona Legacy Crossover.
It peeks into Jason's and Felicity's lives in their sophomore year at college. Find out their status and whether or not the gang is still in touch. They also meet a few characters from the Verona Legacy series that had Lindsey questioning who they really are.
I really enjoyed reading this as I had just finished The Game You Play right before reading this short story.

I read almost all the stories and was so happy to return to some of my favourite world of characters. The authors have done a wonderful job of wrapping these short stories for us and each one was better than the last! I would specially like to appreciate these authors for making these charity anthologies. It is such a nice thing that I can spend money on one of my favourite things , all the while helping someone somewhere in the world! I encourage you all to definitely buy this book and It won't be a loss since this book is absolutely phenomenal! A definite recommendation to all the contemporary romance lovers out there!

For Sweet Christmas by Micalea Smeltzer.

God, I'm so overwhelmed right now.
I can't express my gratitude towards you in words Micalea. This was the best Christmas gift EVER!

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Sweet Dandelion actually means so freakin much to me. I don't know why...but ALL the characters in this book, even Zeppelin and Tally, they all mean so much to me.
I honestly can't find a reason for why I'm so in love with this book. There's something there... that just hits different. That hits a lot deeper in my heart.
And reading more about Lachlan and Dani (and all the characters) here in Sweet Christmas was like...so so overwhelming! I was crying while reading and even after I finished it.
This is not just a book. This is a journey. One that I'm going to cherish forever.

I could ramble on and on for hours right now. But I obviously can't do that.
Just know that what I wrote here is only 10% of my overall feelings.
So again, Thank you.
This review is for you, Micalea.
P.S. can't wait for Meet Me In Paris

(Now reading this review again, I feel like it's more for Sweet Dandelion than Mistletoe Kisses but anyway)

I was introduced to author Ginger Scott when I found her book, This is Falling, on NetGalley. I’ve been an ardent fan of the author ever since. I have been in love with those Preeter boys as well, and it brought tears to my eyes to find out that Ms. Scott used real life brothers she met in college as the basis for Nate and Ty Preeter. Blue Christmas is Ms. Scott’s contribution to Mistletoe Christmas, a holiday romance anthology. Her easy humor and flawless storytelling shines through in this short story.

In Blue Christmas, Ty and Nate Preeter are reaching the end of their college careers and looking forward to pursuing their career aspirations. Ms. Scott’s sweet story is an epilogue of sorts for her beloved series. She tenderly and humorously sets the stage for Nate and Ty to take on the demands of adult life. As in the series, parents and family are key to the story. I love that Ms. Scott includes warm, supportive parents and adult kids who appreciate having them in their lives.

The proceeds from the anthology benefit One October, which supports foster children.

I received an advance copy of Blue Christmas in exchange for my honest review. I have preordered Mistletoe Kisses, and I can't wait to get started on the other stories!

4.5 Stars for My Favourite Gift by Monica Murphy
I read Monica Murphy’s contribution to this holiday anthology and I was excited to get more of the Callahan family. In this short read we get a glimpse of the relationship Autumn Callahan and Asher Davis share. Ash surprises Autumn with a trip to a very special cabin for a few days over the Christmas break as they need this time alone together. Ash needs to reassure Autumn that he is going to be around for the future and together they will always make things work....
This is a sweet, heartwarming romance that will really get anyone who picks this book up I n in the holiday spirit and this couples story is as magical as the holiday season. This quick read is full of love, romance and it’s the perfect read to start the run up to the holiday season. I’m looking forward to reading the other stories in this anthology.

So far, I’ve only read Christmas Puck but I plan to go back for the others.

Christmas Puck by Alley Ciz
Oh my sweet sweet OGs, how I missed thee.
Jake and Jordan will forever have a special place in my heart. They’re the couple that started it all for me. I loved visiting them aaand in first person!? Score! I was reminded me of how sexy and swoony Jake is. Christmas Puck had everything that made you first fall in love with the BTU family and of course obviously left you wanting more.

I specifically read this for Christmas Puck by Alley Ciz. It did not disappoint. There isn’t too much I love more than a good hockey romance and add Christmas the mix is perfection. It just makes you feel good. I love Jordan and Jake and seeking that they are still in love and enjoying the holiday with their families all around. I know the other stories will be just as amazing once I work my way through.

I volunteered to read and review an early copy of Blue Christmas by Ginger Scott.
Disclaimer If/When I read other stories in this anthology I will update this review.

I really enjoyed this. This was very quick and cute. I really need to go back and reread the Falling Series because this made me realise how much I've missed them. A super adorable little Christmas tale.

One of my favourites was Christmas Puck by Alley Ciz! I love her BTU series and I loved being back with the OG couple Jake and Jordan!  It was such a fun short story with all the crew  together. It really was like meeting up with friends again and makes me want Tucker's book even more!

Christmas Puck by Alley Ciz

A quick, fun and steamy read! If you’ve read the BTU Alumni series, then you won’t want to miss out on more from the OG couple, Jake and Jordan, and the fact that we get first person POVs was an added bonus.

Mistletoe Kisses - A Christmas Anthology from 14 authors .

4.5 Star review of My Favorite Gift by Monica Murphy
I love the holiday season and Christmas is my favourite holiday of the year. This was a quick read yet Monica Murphy packed a lot into it. My Favorite Gift was an entertaining read that had me hooked from the first chapter to the last.
It was great being back with the Callahan family and it has certainly wet my appetite for the next Callahan book. This was a fun and sparkling story of love and family which ticked the boxes for me. I love Ash and Autumn and getting another glimpse into their lives was heartwarming and certainly leaves the door open for hopefully another book.

What a great collection of stories. O loved getting quick stories from some authors I have not read before.

I especially loved Christmas Beneath the Stars by Amie Knight. Adam and Liv are having a romantic Christmas under the stars where they fell in love. Liv had a surprise for him to make the Christmas even more memorable.

I read this Christmas Anthology due to a couple of Authors I love, Alley Ciz being the main one.
I’m not really a person who reads a Christmas box itself, unless it’s a bonus to a story already read or in the story itself
So this was a big deal fir me. I haven’t finished by all means but wanted to read Alley’s contribution.
Alley took us back to her characters from Power Play her very first book released .
Jordan and Jake and their swooney love and at this very special time of the year that I absolutely love We are back to the bf& GF stage of the romance whilst both are still living as neighbours and new to their love. The famous hammock is once part of this story where our two began their love story way back in Power Play
It was nice to go back and relive and read a new part of their relationship when we first fell in love with these two. Alleys description of scenes in the book were on par and sext AF 😍
Alley stepped into this and it was like we had never been away from these two 😍
Alley certainly holds her own along with the other stories I have managed to read, also being part of an anthology that I know herself fangirl over following author Cambria Herbert
So for a genre I really don’t read I thoroughly enjoyed it
Thank you Alley for once again introducing me to another Genre in writing ✍🏻

Sweet Christmas in Mistletoe Kisses
A Sweet Dandelion Short Story.

Excuse me, this book was PERFECTION. Y’all know how much I love and adore Sweet Dandelion so freakin much. I fell in love with Dani and Lachlan all over again, but also the secondary characters Ansel, Sage, and Sasha. It was so amazing seeing them all back together. 😭

I just love Lachlan and Dani’s relationship and their chemistry. They just get each other. When Lachlan can see her struggle of losing her mom, he gives her exactly what she needs. He just knows. He gets her like no other. Also, reading in his POV melted my heart. It’s everything I didn’t know I needed, but wanted.

Dani just seems so much better and happy. It makes me root for her even more. She’s one of the most beautiful and strong female lead characters that I’ve ever read. It made me smile to see her progress.

They’re moments that just made my day and every single page made me so happy. I can’t express how much I enjoyed this story. I missed them so much and getting a little more was pure bliss.

I love Sage and I know he’s still struggling, but I also wanted to smack him. He needed to stop being so mean haha.

Seeing Ansel better with a healed heart with Dani and especially that talk he had with Lachlan was just so beautiful to read about. I can’t wait to read his book. Eeeeek.

My favorite scene is the store parking lot one. I was dying. Hahaha. It cracks me up.

I only read Amie Knight’s short story because I LOVE all things Liv and Adam and needed an update on their lives.

If you’ve never read her Stars Duet, you’re missing out. They were the first contemporary romance books I’ve ever read and will forever hold a special place in my heart.

Their love is type that just enfolds you within it’s wonder and the story of them both becoming the people they were meant to be, both individually and then together, is just spellbinding.

I adored this follow up story because it shows that even after a HEA, struggles can be faced together and that it is love and trust that gives you the strength to overcome them together.

This is my review for a Kiss Before Midnight from Anna B. Doe. Grace’s life since she started living with her brother has been so much better but the one thing she really enjoys is her time spent practicing her ballet as it allows her to also watch Mason the boy she can’t stop thinking about.

Mason is 16 who plays basketball where Grace takes ballet and he has a difficult past of his own. He has been watching Grace as well and seeing their first date unfold from her overprotective brother to their first kiss leaves us wanting more of this couple.

Each and every single story in this anthology was just perfect and a delightful treat for this holiday season!!

I can't believe some of my favorite authors are together in this anthology and that I could follow through with some of their amazing characters and also I met some new authors that now I'm dying to read their stories because their characters and stories were just so so good.

This Anthology had the best combination of stories with all the feels, love, friendship, passion and hope. Like I said perfection in every page!!!!

So don't wait no longer and grab this short stories with HEA and get in the spirit of the holidays.

The Elements of Unrequited and the Missing Einstein by Len Webster

This may be a short visit but anytime spent with Evan and AJ makes me so happy. If there is anything cuter than Evan being a daddy to little Miller I have not read it yet. The one thing you can feel on every page is the pure love this family has for each other. I loved that we got a little catch up with some other characters from the series. There is only one issue this is not long enough to feed my addiction with this couple.

This review is for Christmas Puck by Alley Ciz. A quick and steamy glimpse into the holidays with the OG BTU alumni, Jake and Jordan. Loved them then and love them even more. They are a great couple and Alley has a way of creating characters that feel so real. If you read the BTU series, then this was a fun visit but if you haven’t yet, this story was a great way to get introduced to the BTU world. You won’t regret it.

>So many good stories!
I enjoyed reading these stories from the Mistletoe Kisses Charity Anthology. One of my favorite writers Alley Ciz is part of this collection. Alley brought back two of my favorite characters from the BTU alumni series. Jake and Jordan is where it all started for me with her books. I love being able to see extra scenes and it makes you fall in love with them all over again. Pick up a copy of this anthology for your holiday collection.

This review is for Christmas Puck by Alley Ciz.

The perfect addition to bring us back to the OG couple that brought Ciz into our lives. It may be short and sweet but throw in some steam and a sexy Mr. Donovan in our favorite gray sweatpants and you will surely be filled with some hoiday cheer.
