I found this book on Reddit, after reading a short story that belonged to the tale. I loved it so much I bought the book and read it within a night. I really enjoyed the world building and the characters seemed really organic, genuine; it really brought them to life. Looking forward to more.
I first learned of this book and author from listening to Chilling Tales for Dark Nights and the two stories narrated caught me up immediately in what was going on! I knew I had to read this. I was not disappointed. Somehow a blend of stories about witches, 1950s serial killers, and mad scientist (who are just a brain a jar!) just beautifully blend together. Even though each story is it own tale they become part of this bigger picture to create this creepy and chilling history of Sombermorey. If you are a fan of creepy horror this is a must read! Executed perfectly!
