Brilliant read
Lena has always hid her feelings especially after the death of her parents. Xavier knew Lena was his soulmate but wondered why she didn’t feel it he had gone back to the events company she worked for wanting to spear head the next event but when she
left he heard she had left the company how would he get to see her. Xavier’s CFO Giselle keeps getting annoyed with him as he was forgetting things and when he eventually found Lena offered her an invite to go to New York with them he had a work conference and then a dinner with an artist that he wanted Lena to meet.
Lena is enjoying New York after talking to her friend and she realised that she needs to uncover her feelings that she has for Xavier and after spending the night with him she knew soulmates but then it all came crashing down when Giselle told Lena that was what he did and now wouldn’t want her.
Xavier finished his breakfast meeting and went to go back to Lena when Giselle told him Lena was leaving and he knew Giselle had said something to her.
Lena gets an email to contact Giselle who wanted her to take over the event they where having from her old firm and she wouldn’t have to speak to Xavier.
Xavier was pacing the room knowing Lena was in the conference room he went to get a coffee Giselle was there making a coffee but put something up her sleeve the coffee was Lena’s so Xavier grabbed it from Giselle and went to drink from it and Giselle tackled him to the ground.
Lena stopped Xavier from going after Giselle but it brought the two of them together where emotions and feelings where told especially from Lena and why she hid the soulmate bond away but is ready to recognise all her feelings and the love she has for Xavier.

OMG! I made the mistake of starting this book before bedtime and then had to read the whole thing before I went to sleep. Lena and Xavier rock! If you have been reading along in the series then you will recognize both characters. Lena is Cora's sister you currently works in PR and set up one of the Lake parties. She and her sister have been estranged since the death of their parents and just connected again. Lena is still a loner, but she is about to leave her job and go out on her own so she will need all the connections that she can get to get her PR business off the ground. One of those connections is Xavier, but since he is contracting from her former firm she feels she must not poach him for herself. She doesn't realize that he considers her his mate and doesn't care where she works, he just wants her to agree to go out with him so he can convince her they belong together.
Xavier is a billionaire, but he doesn't have everything since he hasn't found his soul mate. Then he meets Lena at an event and is sure she is the one, but he can't seem to get her to notice his interest in her. He goes to the PR firm she works for in the hopes of having her work on an event of his, only to find out that it was her last day and now he doesn't even know how to find her! It is going to take a lot of luck to get these two together, especially when Xavier's CFO, Giselle, is determined to keep them apart. Hold on for the ride.

This was such a great addition to the City of Dragons series and might actually be my favorite story in the series. I liked Xavier and Lena in book four but now I love them. Lena was emotionally unavailable which had developed as a defense mechanism to protect herself from hurt. Although Xavier was a former playboy, he was fantastic guy who knew Lena was his soulmate. His trying to get Lena to give him a chance was really sweet. Not everyone is happy they found each other which adds another layer to the story and you know from the start where that is headed. Then you have Lena's friend, Andi, who was something else and really added color to the story. She was a fabulous character and a very supportive friend. Marigold hopefully will show up again. She was flamboyant and had a flair about her. The next book in the series will be about Andi. I have already preordered it since it can't help but be fantastic.

Once again we are in the City of Dragons and the heroine of this story we have actually met before it is non other than Lena the sister of Cora from and earlier story in this series

That book has a great plot & writing, it pull me in Lena and Xavier story, is a soulmate a real thing or not ? I am continuing to read books in this series that is set in a city full of dragons and a few wolves , I really love the part that friendship plays into life, it will definitely keep you entertained wandering what will happened next . I guarantee that You will fall in love with all the Volentis, you will be send into a magical world.

This is Xavier and Lena's story . Lena is getting ready to open her own PR firm and doesn't want to take any clients from the firm she is leaving feeling like it would be wrong . Xavier wants his mate but hasn't found her yet . But a chance meeting at a party and he will follow her anywhere once he finds her again ! Just an FYI if you start this one near bedtime look out because you will not be able to put it down ! Well written and recommended !! I was given this ARC and loved it so much I wanted to leave a review !

Lena really came into herself meeting Xavier.
I have enjoyed this whole series and this story just added to my enjoyment.
I found it hard to put down and intriguing in the way this author brought about these too not just meeting but finally getting together.
In the previous stories you hear about both of these two in passing and they don't seem to gel with the rest of the group/families but when you get to know them in this story it really makes sense.
This author is holding my attention with their writing.

I have enjoyed this whole series and this story just added to my enjoyment.

You know, I rather liked Xavier. He’s a dragon who thinks he’s found his mate in Lena. He concocts a launch to hire the event management company she works for meet her again. The llaunch is real, as is the last 45 minutes Lena is an employee is said company.
I liked that Lena is striking out on her own.
I think she was a good match for Xavier.
Recommend.

Very interesting and new take on dragons and their lives. Ms. Wolf has a story that maintains your interest. The characters are well thought out and it’s more a dragon/dragon book which I’ve always liked.

Oh no....
The female dragons in Volentis, and also human females, will be very upset if a certain male is off the market! There is definitely plenty of drama, jealousy, intrigue, and a dash of magic in this story. Great reads...both this book and the entire series!

I loved this book.
This book was very subtle in some ways but lots of to and fro with the dragon and his soul mate. Will they get together or will the CEO get her way and break them up? Need to read to find out what happens.

Wow! Another incredible tale !
Xavier and Lena was a great story. Xavier knew that they were soulmates immediately but when a jealous co-worker tries to tell her lies and attempts to poison Lena, she knows his feelings are real.

I enjoyed it. This book #5 of the series is starting to feel a bit formulaic, yet it was still an entirely readable story. I know because I didn’t stop reading it until it was finished. 😀

Erneut eine super schöne Geschichte rund um die Stadt der Drachen. Xavier und Lena finden hier ihr Glück, sie müssen zwar einige Hürden bewältigen, aber letztendlich klappt es mit dem Happy End. Sehr schön und angenehm zu lesen. Xavier weiß seit der ersten Begegnung, dass Lena seine Gefährtin ist, aber die macht es im ganz und gar nicht einfach... Immer wieder toll, der Ausflug in die Stadt der Drachen
