Chase Cooper here with another crazy week at my school! Gavin is back for fun and Christopher Moss is back for revenge in what might be the most stressful week of my life! A mystery kid named Anonymoose has started posting pictures of ninjas all over the place and promises to reveal the identity of their leader - ME - on Friday at a school dance that Zoe's been planning! Everybody, including Brody Valentine, wants to help me stop Anonymoose, but I'm pretty sure I can handle it myself. Well, at least, I HOPE I can handle it myself.

Ya know...it's been so long, about six years, really, since I've read the first book of this series, and I was so smol back then.

Emerson wasn't kidding when he said these books were for adults who never grew up as well (*waves, sort of*). But his humor is clever and well timed, clean, and geeky (so many gamer and movie references it's GREAT)...and honestly, what can I say? This isn't a book I want to go into a deep analysis of because it's just made to be fun, lighthearted, and hysterical. It delivered on that so well (plus, I love all the characters in this book SO much...haven't forgotten them at all, despite the last book I read was about 3.5 years ago). And it's a light read for a day where you just don't wanna deal with the human species' drama.

Apparently, Emerson's going to make Diary intersect with Secret Agent Sixth Grader and Middle School Ninja. Which I'm so excited about...especially because I'm confident he'll keep his light and funny shtick in the bigger picture (and seriously, it'll be big...have you read Middle School Ninja?). Fun fun...!!

Content: clean, like...no swearing at all. Romance, sure, but they're sixth graders
