She made them three she would find them a new home, she would find her nemesis, Brian Crowe, and make him pay, and she would build a better future for her people. Sammie intends to keep these promises at any cost. In the epic and unforgettable conclusion to the Safe Zone Trilogy, can the people of the UK find their Serenity?
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this series. I felt each book was engaging. I was drawn in from the beginning until the very end of the series, although this isn't even my normal genre I really couldn't put the books down. I loved the characters and through the writing I felt their pain when bad things happened and their happiness when they had successes. Overall, I feel it was a very well written series and I'm really glad that I read it!
I have really enjoyed this series. Its well written and I couldn't put it down. Set in the UK it follows survivors through the ups and downs of a Zombie apocalypse . The characters are strong and not your usual all action army/navy war heroes. Just ordinary people trying to survive the evil unleashed on the world zombies and man. This is the first book by this author that I have read and will be definitely reading more of her books.
Love the concluding story! Well-written, easily one of the top series of this genre. I enjoyed each character’s part in the overall story along with the way the evil jerk, Bryan, finally comes to the fore & the resolution is one of the better solutions I ever read. I like to read/listen to certain series such as this where each books covers origins, all present & future details relating to fleshed out characters as they come together to resolve the story in a satisfying way. Serenity is the perfect conclusion to the full Safe Zone series. Suzanne Sussex is a very talented writer; I’m hoping to find more of her books. The Graphic Audio version of the series is a solid representation of the books. Glad I found it!
The first book was great, I couldn't put it down but the others, well it took many months to get through them purely because I had to put them back down due to being so rubbish but I guess this is what you get when they are free . I do wonder why in series like this the first book is great but I guess if they were rubbish from the off no one would read them . I am disappointed tho because after the first book I was really looking forward to reading the others but they wasn't up to my expectations 😪.
If you have sense you'll stop reading these after the first
Enjoyed the books. The 3rd was, in my opinion, the best one. Great characters and a fast moving plot kept it very readable. Some editing issues, a few name mixups. The only frustration for me was trying to figure out where the visited zones were - but that's just me. Definitely worth a read 👍🏾
Very realistic to what a future with dead walking could be administrated.
Some parts of book were a little to take in but knowing that some people will do whatever they have to survive. Very realistic that i could feel emotions of the characters. Their anger, pain, joy and happiness. Glad I read this story. Cant wait to indulge my morbid fascination of the zombie genre.
I enjoyed this series immensely. It had engaging characters, despicable villains, and ordinary folk. The situations and plots were very good. I truly appreciated that Miss Sussex has a firm grasp of homophones which other authors of this genre seem struggle with mightily. If you like good books and zombies this is a series for you.
again, i listened to the audiobook, i love when the audiobooks have a full cast, its like listening to an episode in a very exciting show, i really recommend for you all to listen to this book.
I read a lot of this type of fiction and unfortunately quite a bit of it does seem to be poorly written and edited dross with annoying and unbelievable characters and situations. I often read the first part of a series but don't feel engaged enough to read the rest. So it was a pleasant surprise to come across this well written and interesting series which I enjoyed very much. Usually books either cover the initial outbreak and how people survive in the first few days/weeks/months or the story of survivors and the society they have established some years after the event. This series covered both aspects with linking characters throughout the story and did it well. There were a few editing errors and I would like to have had more explanation of who was responsible for the outbreak and why and who had ordered the research into the vaccine but these are only small issues in what was an enjoyable read.
I was hoping for a great final book in this series and I was definitely a happy little reader once I got to the end.
This book was perfect. Great amount of humanity mixed with realistic ideas of how people would cope in a Zombie apocalypse. I really loved how all the characters were meaningful throughout this whole series. Johanna and Joe would have to be my fave. The fact that the baddy guy gets what he deserved is the icing on the cake for me.
I secretly hoped there'd be more in this series but I'm very happy how it finished.
She’s done it again. This is perhaps one of my favourite zombie series. I love how it’s not all drama drama and unbelievable stuff. I love the development of the character. Just wow!
