A scared young woman on the run from a shadowy organization.
A tough, sexy Texas Ranger—a Daddy looking for a sweet baby girl to cherish, spoil, and protect.
Fate sends them on a collision course as hearts collide in this all-new DDLG tale from bestselling author Amy Cummings!
Stella never had a home of her own. Bounced around the foster system, she did what she had to just to survive. But when her past catches up to her, she flees for her life, leaving Ohio behind and ending up in the beautiful, rugged Davis Mountains of West Texas. Using her vast computer skills to hack into the Mountainville website, Stella approves herself as the newest Little to join the exclusive community.
But she knows nothing about the world of Daddies and Littles and arrives to find herself knee-deep in a unique but thrilling lifestyle. Her plan is simple, fake being a Little and enjoy the security Mountainville offers before moving on.
But that plan might not be so easy. She’s assigned a Daddy to watch over her. A sexy, tough, protective Daddy who also happens to be a Texas Ranger—Dax Trevor. The usually unflappable, cynical Stella is completely taken by Dax’s charm, and the warmth and love that the people of Mountainville have to offer.
But with ravenous predators still hunting Stella, her fairy tale façade can’t last forever. Because a reckoning is coming, and Stella is still in the crosshairs of danger.

Saving Stella features consenting adults engaged in Age Play. It is a Daddy Dom Little Girl romance that contains ABDL elements including diaper changes, medical exams, and discipline. It features Girl Littles and Boy Littles, Daddies and Mommies, and plenty of fun and mischief.
Packed with thunderous action and pulse-pounding suspense, Saving Stella is a standalone tale but the second in the Lone Star Littles series that follows the events of Victoria’s Ranger. Have fun, Cuties!

I have a lot of stories floating around my head. Seriously. It's ridiculous. There are times I find it hard to concentrate on real life because the events unfolding in my imagination are far more interesting to me. So, after years of daydreaming, I decided to write these fantasies down. A few books later and I'm an author.

I strive to write fun, fast-paced, and imaginative Age Play, DDLG, and ABDL fiction. I specialize in light-hearted, gentile tales with plenty of spice.

Age Play books are all the rage right now; it's not my favorite kink, but I will read it occasionally. Given that so many are free on KU and I need to decompress from days of grading finals, I decided to binge-read several new authors; Ms Cummings is one of them.

I read three about an Age Play community located somewhere in Texas -- though there are several more, I will not be reading further. It's not because I'm not an ABDL fan (the blurbs were very clear), but because I don't consider any of these consensual, despite what the blurbs say. Each "daddy" assures his Little girl that he won't do anything she doesn't want, but nowhere do I see conversations about limits and safewords. Indeed, the author can only pay lip service to consent because at no time, ever, do the Little characters object to anything their Bigs do (even when they bruise them). While I get that these are fantasies, that was just too much for me -- particularly since some of the Littles were new to the lifestyle. I'll also add that because the women (I only read those, though I appreciate the author's diversity in representation) just go along with everything done to them, there's no conflict.

I had other problems: no one mentions birth control; though some of the doctors and Bigs are Mommies, the books are very gender-essentialist (girls only play dolls and boys with baseball gloves, apparently);I cannot tell you at all what most characters look like; and I continue to not understand why authors think that the Age Play genre pairs well with crime fiction.

Individual Reviews:

1) Saving Stella: On the run from a criminal syndicate, computer hacker Stella hides out in Mountainville. Even in fantasy, I couldn't accept that a young woman who hadn't even heard of Age Play would take to it so willingly. And Dax beat her too harshly for what is supposed to be a mild book; the blurb should have come with a warning. I did appreciate that Stella was skilled and that the two had the occasional adult conversation. Side Note: It might surprise this clearly very insular author that people in the Midwest do actually eat Mexican food; in fact, gasp, some are actually Mexican and Mexican-American! 1 1/2 stars.

2) Rescuing Katie: A DDLG, Age Play Romance: This prequel to the Mountainville series was more believable than the first I read because Katie had self-identified as a Little for a long time; it was also much less harsh. That said, this was light-speed insta-love and the mystery plot that Fire Chief Bradley tries to solve only tangentially involved Katie so I felt as though I were reading two different books. 2 1/2 stars.

3) Saving Shayla: An Age Play, DDLG Romance: This entry was the most interesting -- and refreshing -- because professional wrestler Shayla is an atypical, non-"girly" Little; newbie Hollis an atypical daddy who let Shayla set her own pace; and the pro-wrestling world an atypical setting (I had to look up "kayfabe"). In addition, since this is a second-chance romance, the relationship was more believable and, given the MC's history, provided organic conflict. That said, Age Play is no substitute for therapy; the MC spend little time together; the ending is abrupt; and Hollis really has a lot to atone for. 3 1/2 stars.

2 1/2 stars. Those who like hard-core Age Play will enjoy these since those elements are well-described. Those looking for character development, rising action, conflict, and falling action should look elsewhere. I did appreciate the closeness among the Littles.

Stella never had a home as she was bounced around the foster system so she did what she had to do in order to survive. When her past catches up to her she flees for her life from Ohio and travels to Texas where she uses her computer skills to hack into the Mountainville website and approves herself as the newest Little to join the exclusive community. She knows nothing about Daddies and Littles and follows through on her plan to fake being a Little to take advantage of their security before she moves on. But she is assigned a foster Daddy who is a sexy protective Texas Ranger Dax Trevor. Stella is taken by Dax’s charm and the warmth and love that the people of Mountainville have to offer. When the predators hunting Stella track her down her fairy tale can't last forever and she is in the crosshairs of danger.

I struggled with this story as I really didn't like Stella at the start and it was only when the book got halfway through that I started to like her. She was definitely sassy and fit in well with the Littles when she tried to and it was nice to see when she started to enjoy life in the community with Dax. Easy to read and understand. Contains mature content containing a BDSM DDLG relationship with the items associated with a young age so diapers, bottles, a paci and some discipline.

Saving Stella (Lone Star Littles #2) is a delightful read penned by Amy Cummings. In this book, we meet Stella a troubled innocent who happens to be a hacker. She is also a product of the foster care system. She finds herself on the run and seeks a haven in a DD/LG community, Mountainville. This is where she meets Dax Trevor, a Texas Ranger. He concludes a tough assignment and is ready for a vacation in Mountainville. He is assigned to Stella. As Stella goes through her adjustment into this lifestyle, she also starts letting down the high barriers that surround her heart. However, Stella’s past is catching up with her. Will she be safe? Will she fully embrace this lifestyle? What does the future hold for Stella and Dax? To discover the answers to these questions, you must read this book.

Ms. Cummings penned a simple but enjoyable romance plot. I loved how she enhanced it with suspense to increase the tension in her plot. She uses dialog, point of view, and descriptive language to captivate readers’ attention. Her characters, both primary and secondary, are well-crafted. She gives them unique personalities that make them relatable and likeable. Their antics and banter endear them to readers. Way to go, Ms. Cummings.

Page turner

Loved, loved, loved this story!!! It is filled with action, suspense, mystery, loafs of mischief, laughs, tears and most important.... love. Stella finds herself in more trouble she can handle and survived by her smarts and strength. Having to pose as a Little and being sponsored by a Big, she is willing to fake it to stay alive. Dax is a Daddy who has been looking for his forever Little, he knows Stella is hiding something and I'd determined to find out the truth. Has Stella found what she has needed all her life and has Dax found his Little girl? I couldn't put this book down, this is one of the best books I have read this year.

I loved this book better than any other in the series. It as longer and filled with lots of naughtiness and fun. All of the planning to see what was on the roof as hysterical. What they did Maggie was priceless!! I couldn’t stop laughing.

I just have a query. Baby powder has been determine to be a leading cause of cervical cancer, so why does the author uses it in her stories? Just being curious.

So adorable!

This one was adorable. I loved how Stella got to discover the little inside herself. It was a great story and loved the friendships that developed in this story!! Stella has never had friends or even a relationship. Her love for Dax blooms throughout the book. Love how the town comes together. Still loving Walker, Texas Ranger line…makes me laugh every time!

Stella and Dax

This is a very good, well written DD/lg romance. This is the second story in this series. Amy Cummings does an excellent job of character development. Mountianville is a place anyone with Little tenancies will want to visit and maybe stay. The story has some action but not too much. I hope you read and enjoy.

A woman hacker running from her past hides in a place for Bigs and Littles. A Texas Ranger looking for a Little girl of his own. Very well done and extremely heartwarming. I really enjoyed the characters. They were very sweet and mischievous.

Misunderstood

Stella really had a very nasty and rough life.
Abandoned as a child with really no one to care for her.
Wonderful characters who eventually showed her what friends and family felt like.
