Teacher for an Alien Doctor

Rate this book
I can’t trust an alien man after what was done to my sister.

June became an alien bride when I was fifteen. She died on Tracorox six years later.
Now I’m responsible for her child, and I’m determined to find out how she really died.
Accident?
I don’t think so.

I joined IEP to get off Earth and find information about my sister.
I never expected to find a mate of my own.
Soren, the alien doctor, makes me burn with need.
I’ve never wanted any man – or alien – before.
But I can’t deny the way he makes me feel.
If I become his mate, will I be able to find justice for my sister?

I’ve been hurt by love before.
I’ve been played. Used. I’m done with love.
Until Maya brings her nephew in for medical care.
The human woman is a mystery, one I’m determined to solve.

The mating gene has me in its grasp, and I don’t want to escape.
But she’s determined to leave the planet.
And me.
I need to earn her trust and her heart.

If she can’t put her faith in me, she’ll never be my mate.
But if can’t trust her, I’ll lose her before I ever have the chance to claim her.

"Teacher for the Alien Doctor" is a steamy alien romance novel featuring a princely doctor, his fated mate, and an adopted nephew that shows them the family they can be.

Ok guys, I tried. I really did. But 30% in to this book and once again I cannot stand the heroine. So why bother finishing it. I almost never give up on a book. Even bad ones, I try to make it to the end, even if it’s painful. I’m a bit pissed because I liked Soren and wanted to see him get his HEA. Alas, it is not to be.I think there are a few books to come, maybe one for Aiken at least. But I’m gonna take a pass on it.

So my recommendation would be to skip this series.

Earth has become a dystopian world and travel between worlds with a myriad of aliens is the norm. What isn't the norm is finding your fated one. It has been so long that anyone who knew has long since gone and if it is talked about it is as if it was a myth.

When a human is involved they will do anything to make them theirs. However, the chemistry explodes, making them confront there are feelings just waiting to be explored. As their connection simmers dangerously close to the surface, they must decide if it is worth the risks that come with uncovering their true desires.

Not a fan of dumb heroines, and the heroine in this book is the dumbest of them all. Ruined the book for me.

Maya, school teacher on the alien planet Hollander, is raising her nephew 8-year-old Dylan since the death of her sister. When Dylan is injured at school, she rushes him to the hospital for treatment. Soren, one of the Hollander princes, is the alien doctor who treats Dylan at the urgent care clinic. Maya can hardly take her eyes off of him. He talks gently with Dylan, distracting him while he cleans and prepares the wound for stitches. Then he asks Maya how her experience was with IEP since his brother works there. For Maya, she was contracted as a teacher and that contract would expire in two more months. And as they talked, she identified the sensations she was feeling – attraction and desire, a strong longing for this man. She had to get out of here now, so grabbed Dylan’s hand and hurried out. She definitely couldn’t trust an alien, not after what happened to her sister.

Soren is feeling distracted just as Maya is. He tried working in the lab, but could not concentrate. A walk in the gardens didn’t help either, so we went home to have a glass of wine. His younger brother, Aiken, asked what was wrong. Soren told him about the connection with a woman, he didn’t even know her name, and remarked that he would have no problem being Dylan’s stepdad, until Aiken asked if the father was around! When Soren described Dylan, Aiken told him it sounded like Tracorian features. Tracorox was a strange planet with lots of sorcery and dark magic going on. Even at Aiken’s school, they discouraged the students from going there to research. How did the woman he was attracted to have a child with a Tracorian?

As Soren described his feelings to Aiken, he suddenly stopped. He knew what he was describing. This had to be the mating gene and, if that’s the case, then the woman will be feeling it too.

Maya cannot deny the way Soren makes her feel. But if she becomes his mate, can she still find justice for her sister? Will he help her, despite the danger of an evil sorcerer?

Went from a longer story to a much shorter one. Feel like things could have been fleshed out more.

Maya is a teacher on Hollander with the IEP raising her nephew, Dylan, who is half human and half Tracorox. Her sister, June, died but Maya doesn’t believe the official report that it was an accident and is wanting to go to Tracorox to find out the truth. Soren meet Maya when she brings Dylan in with an injury. They are instantly drawn to each other, but Maya learned that trusting aliens is the worst thing to do and cannot understand why she is so attracted to this alien doctor and prince.

This story was cute, but was rushed in a lot of places, as with the first story in the series.

Despite Maya not trusting aliens, she almost instantly starts trusting Soren and fights it. Soren, despite reminding the reader of his failures with love in the past, trusts Maya and doesn’t doubt her. It doesn’t feel like there are any stakes at risk.

The more interesting stuff, like how Dylan’s father was controlling him, June being alive and the plan to save her are all backseat compared to the romance story. There needs to be a balance and there just wasn’t in this story.

Overall, it was cute but mostly lackluster after the 2nd story that was a little longer so it had more time to develop the growing relationship and the issues both primary characters had with the other.

In this story, we meet Maya, a women tormented by the death of her sister on a mysterious foreign planet an tasked with raising her young nephew on another beautiful world as a teacher. Her trust for aliens is minimal at best due to how her sister’s death was handled and the knowledge that her sister had been unhappy and fearful of her son’s father.

Soren is a dedicated doctor who doubts he will find a mate, until Maya and her nephew burst into his emergency ward. As sparks fly, both grapple with the strong chemistry between them, and Maya. She doesn’t trust him. After all, he is a crown prince of the planet’s ruling family and she is just a contracted human teacher.

The romance unfurls quickly and almost unravels as Maya tries to fight unknown challenges alone rather than asking her new friends and mate for help. This is a quick romance with lots of humor and character development that leads to a happy ending for this couple and a teaser for the next book’s focus.

Maya was an Terran on contract to reach on an alien planet when her sister died and her half human son was sent to her to raise.

Maya was determined to go d out how her sister had died, and to keep her nephew safe, when he suddenly got a serious injury at school. She took him to the nearest hospital, where Prince Soren was a doctor. When the sound did not heal and the child for sucker Soren took action. He already thought Maya was his fated mate, and he was starting to love her nephew as well. Nothing was going to keep them apart or unwell if it was in his power, but sorcery seemed to be the cause of the sickness and pain, which led to the child's father, a sorcerer with an evil reputation. Then Maya found out her sister was alive! Now nothing can keep her from trying to rescue June, or protect her loved ones from the sorcerers threats. Can Soren help, can Maya go to a planet so feared that warriors refused to go there, can she figure out how to rescue June when she's been there many years? How will this work out?

Romantic, sad, scary nail biter! Soren, middle son, Prince considered the hottest of the three brothers, depending on why you ask is a good doctor. He is wary of love, but cautiously hopeful. Maya was recently on the planet as a teacher hoping to be nearer her sister. Then she finds out her sister, June had an accidental death and she got guardianship of June's son, Dylan. Dylan is half human and half Tracoroxan. He mourned his Mom, but he loved his Aunt Maya. Dylan, got hurt and needed medical care. Soren, attended to him and met Maya. They were drawn to each other with no explanation. Maya fought it because June had told her not to trust aliens. Maya struggled with her feelings. Maya had baggage, Soren had baggage. Will they set baggage down after feeling the mating pull? Will they understand the mysteries surrounding the families? Can they get out of their own way? Good story. Nicely sussed out. Well done! This was a fantastic sequel to Nurse for the Alien Warrior and I quite enjoyed this work and found it difficult to put down. Gave myself motion sickness reading it in the car, but that is besides the point of this review. I found the plot to be fantastic. I could feel the struggles the main female character was going through. Her struggle trying to handle the situation with the mate gene, raising her nephew, and finding answers to her sister’s death was a lot on her plate and a lot to deal with. The male character handled most of it greatly, might have had a slip up here and there. The story was written wonderfully to allow the plot to move swiftly and smoothly.

I give this a five out of five stars. The plot was fantastic and the characters were greatly written.

Maya joined IEP to try and find out what happened to her sister who left when Maya was only 15 to teach on an alien planet. Maya is told her sister is dead and she is responsible for her nephew. He taken bad and she rushes him to the hospital when Soren the crown Prince is a doctor. He takes a look at the boy and tells Maya if he takes bad again to take him straight back. Her nephew gets worse she goes back and Soren has told the nursing staff to call him straight away. They get to the bottom of the trouble but still Maya doesn’t want to fall in love with Soren as her sister warned her not to trust an alien. Eventually with Soren and all his family and friends the hatch a plan for her to go to Tracorox where her sister is. I’m not going to spoil the rest of the story only to say it’s a good read

Great chemistry!

Written for mature readers only (18+ years old) due to subject matter that may be a trigger or offensive to some including adult language, steamy intimate scenes and violence.

While this could be read as a stand-alone, I highly recommend it be read in series order for maximum reader satisfaction and to prevent spoilers as there are reoccurring characters and an overall storyline arc.

This is the story of Soren, a Prince of the planet of Hollander, and Mara, an elementary teacher from earth. As soon as their eyes met, there was an immediate attraction and chemistry between them. Too bad he couldn’t be trusted, no males were able to be trusted. At least that is what her sister told her right before died and left her as the guardian for her young nephew.

..."the IEP was known to bend the rules whenever the price was right."

Maya is a teacher making a goid life for herself and young Dylan on planet Hollander, but she can't let go of what happened to her sister June and the feeling that the IEP's dealings with her hadn't been100% kosher/honest. Something feels off, and with Maya about to come up for a new contract the question is if she's ready to chase her questions.

At a distance Siren is a royal Prince, get to know this man with a keen mind, and the dedicated, caring doctor shines through.

This done in one Kindle Unlimited quick read has a strong community, keeps the characters from the previous stories in play, and simultaneously focuses on trust issues and learning lessons from the mistakes others have made -- including friends in books 1 and 2.

Maya takes her nephew to the hospital and encounter Soren doctor and Alien Prince.
Neither Maya or her co-worker had seen how her nephew Dylan had cut his arm but it is bleeding badly so she takes him to the hospital. Once there they see Doctor Soren Hollander son of the King. She is shocked when her body responds to his presence but her sister had told her never to trust an alien. Soren had several relationship where the women had been more interested in his position as Prince and had cheated on him so when he entered the room to treat a young boy he find it hard to believe his reaction to the women standing by the bed. Both try to ignore their feelings but they each haunt the others mind.

Maya's sister left her with her nephew and a warning to never trust an alien, but her heart is telling her something else. Prince Soren only seems to want to help her and she feels drawn to him. Can she trust him? Soren has been betrayed and hurt time and time again, but when he sees Maya, he just knows that she's his mate with or with out the test, but will she trust him? He knows she's hiding something from him and it's tearing them apart. Action, adventure, romance, loved it! Great characters and storyline, loved the worldbuilding and continuity from the last 2 books. A really great read!

This was a wonderful book. It had a great love story with suspense and heat both. It was a story of a fated love that both tried to deny but were unable to. It spoke of the need to learn to trust the one you have feelings for. Both had problems trusting each other but somehow it still worked once they started to communicate with the other. It was a great love story and you really felt connected to all the characters in the story. I would love to see books on all the stories on the characters. I will be watching for more books by this author.

Teacher For An Alien Doctor: Intergalactic Exchange Program (3)

Just keeps getting better these books. Maya is a teacher on the planet Hollander. She lives with her nephew Dylan. She had to take Dylan to the hospital,he'd somehow injured his arm and was bleeding quite badly. Soren was was on duty & waiting. He was puzzled why Dylan kept getting sick, and was falling for Maya too. But things are very complicated, plus sorcery is involved. It will take a lot of help, a lot of luck and loads of timing to resolve things

So far this was my favorite of this series. I liked how they fell in love despite themselves, but Maya wasn't going to give up on her quest. Dylan was a sweetheart and I'm a sucker for a kid in a story. Sorren was so lovable I can't believe Maya didn't fall for him sooner, but her cynicism because of her sister's situation was understandable. Looking forward to the next story.

I absolutely loved this book. It is a fantastic addition to this series. The characters pull you in from the very first chapter, and the world building is spectacular. I could talk about this book, and the whole series, all day, because it’s that wonderful. Can’t wait for more books in this series! If you haven’t read the other ones, don’t hesitate to read...you won’t be disappointed!

I liked the third book in the Intergalactic Exchange Program series too.
Maya and Soren, the two main characters are really really cute together and the characters are well written. This time we have to do it with evil magic as an opponent - a nice change!
I really like the series and am looking forward to the next book!

I believe a story is only as powerful as its characters and Zoren and Maya leap from the page. I love stories where the hero and heroine are immediately drawn to each other, but have to overcome their own fears in addition to external obstacles. If you enjoy romances that have magic, mates, mystery, some sizzling and heartfelt moments, I highly recommend this book.

Teacher's Choice

Maya is one determined human trying to do the right thing for her family. She ends up on Hollander where she will need to make changes or risk her precious choices.

Soren is more than a handsome Prince he is a man of science. His life characters have not always worked with and he wonders if he will be happy.

This series has yet to disappoint me. Pick up a book and enjoy.

Awesome

As with the first two books, this has just the right amount of naughtiness without being too over the top.
Maya is looking to get revenge for her dead sister, but is her sister really dead? Hmmm.... she’s left as legal guardian for her young nephew and meets her Prince Charming when her nephew Dylan becomes unwell. Again I borrowed this book from Amazon kindle unlimited. Now to see if the next in the series is free.

Teacher and slooth

Hired as a teacher on an alien planet and having a good time until she has a message from the planet her sister had been sent to that she has died and now she has sole custody of her nephew. Something feels wrong and she feels she needs more answers about how her sister died but many years have passed since they last met and it's hard to investigate from another planet. She needs to wait until her contract is over before she can go anywhere. Good Adult Read.

Maya is the perfect person to take on the raising of her nephew after her sister dies. Soren Is the best character to be mates with these two. He has his friends and family to help bring two humans into life with good aliens. Add in a bio father for her nephew that is rotten and you have an amazing read.

Soren and Maya story was interesting full of danger, love, and all the characters from the previous books. It was fun and interesting to read as Maya is on a mission to solve what happened to her sister and ends up meeting Soren and things get interesting. It made me laugh and groan but kept me entertained as Maya and Soren learn about each other. Was a sexy fun read.
