Juno doesn’t do relationships and he’s content with that, right until Rome walks through the front door of the tattoo shop Juno works at. Rome is a dangerous man to want, but Juno didn’t join the Salvation Kings because he was afraid to go after what he wants. He’s always looking for a new adventure and being with Rome seems to be the kind that’ll never end. But what starts as a physical relationship soon evolves into much more than Juno ever thought he’d want.
Rome D’Alessio is a made man, forever bound to the Cosa Nostra and his boss, Marco Serrano. Being a gay man in his world is not only dangerous but also very lonely. The latter changes when he meets Juno, a tattoo artist and patched member of the Salvation Kings Motorcycle Club, whom he can’t seem to take his eyes off. Juno makes him want things he’s long thought he couldn’t have.
When Serrano comes under attack, Rome is forced to seek help from Juno and the Kings, putting their relationship to the test. Can they weather the storm long enough to realize that all they want is each other?
Ana Night is a writer of suspenseful gay romance. She’s an avid reader who has loved the written word since she discovered it. When she was a kid, she never went anywhere without a notebook. She was always writing, be it in the backseat of the car, between classes in school, or by the pool on vacations.
Ana is a self-proclaimed expert in hugging, people climbing and especially ugly dancing. When she’s not writing, you can find her with her nose buried in a book, singing and dancing, watching her favorite TV shows, or creating book covers.
Ana lives in Denmark where she spends most of her time running from her ninja kitty—that one goes for the ankles—and getting lost in the woods with her horse.
Juno's and Rome's story is very different than others. We have MCfamily, Cosa Nostra, tattoo shop and enemies everywhere. They are both alfa males with huge need to protect those they care about with any means necessary. This one was surprising yet fitting. Their story takes you on a wild ride and gotta say i love these men when they act like 'this is one time only' only to repeat that multiple times over the time. These are passionate and loyal men who somehow stumbled on the person that definitely was meant for them.
Another great read by Ana Knight. I love this series and with each new pairing in the Salvation King’s MC, I fall even more in love with this series.
Juno is a tattoo artist along with being a member of the Salvation Kings. He is what you would call a player and he has no bias on whether it is with a woman or a man. Though he does tend to lean more towards women or at least he did until Rome walks I one night needing to add to his tat.
Juno is immediately warned to not mess with or proposition Rome because he is part of the local Mafia. But when Rome makes a move on Juno, he knows he will not resist him nor does he want to. After just one time with Rome, Juno knows that he wants more.
Rome knows that being gay and in the Mafia he has to keep his sexual preferences close to home. Being gay in the mafia is not accepted at all but when he meets Juno, he knows that one time will not be enough, for that matter a lifetime would not be enough either.
When trouble comes knocking on Rome’s bosses door, Rome turns to the Salvation Kings to help keep his bosses nephew, Dante safe. Marco knows that Rome is gay and Rome knows Marco’s secret as well so these two working together and having Marco’s back at all cost above everyone has never been an issue. That is all about to change! Somehow the person that is after Marco, Rome’s boss, finds out that Rome is seeing Juno and in order to get to Marco, they abduct Juno.
When the call comes in to Rome about Juno’s abduction, Rome is given a choice.....Turn over Marco and get Juno back safe and sound or don’t and Juno will be killed. The question is, what will Rome do? Will he choose his boss and best friend since childhood or will he choose the man that he is falling in love with? How will The Salvation Kings react when they learn that not only has Juno been abducted but he is also involved with someone who is in the mafia? Will Juno be found before it is too late?
This was an incredible read! I truly enjoyed every moment of this book. I cannot wait to see what Ana Knight comes up with next! Definitely a recommended read!
Was given this galley copy for free by Ana Knight for an open and honest review!
Juno is the fifth book in the Salvation Kings MC series by author Ana Night. This story is told in dual POV which is nice to get into the mindset of both men. This was an okay story for me. There are a few places in this story that I felt one of our main characters morals were questionable to say the very least. But overall, it is a good addition to this series.
This is not a standalone story. It has to be read in order. You meet characters from other books as well.
Juno he is a tattoo artist. He is a womanizer famous for one-night stands. He is also a man with a huge heart. He is easy going, likes to get into trouble whenever he can. He is the guy who would push the button you told him not to just cause he could.
Rome is a mob enforcer. He has been working for the family since he was 16. He meets Juno when his normal tattoo artist cannot take him. Juno ends up finishing a tattoo for Rome.
Rome is serious most of the time. He is smart, sweet too in some ways. He is also the man who will get the hard jobs done.
Overall pretty good story and I am looking forward to more from this series in the future.
I have really enjoyed all of the books in this series but unfortunately Juno was only an okay read for me. The characters are very intriguing but I couldn't quite connect with Juno and Rome. They have an interesting start to their relationship and they both have very different allegiances that make it more difficult for both of them. They do have smoking hot chemistry and a strong connection but I wish that their circumstances were different as they do truly care about each other and they are willing to do whatever they have to to be together. I like how supportive their friends are and it is great to see how well all of the couples from the previous books are doing. There is a lot going on in this story and I wish that there had been more focus on the developing relationship between Juno and Rome. The lack of editing did make it a bit difficult to follow the story at times as well but as I read an ARC these issues may have been rectified before the book was published.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
Juno was used to not having to work too much for an easy lay but he's met his match with Rome. It made me laugh how disappointed he was that his charms didn't work immediately with the stone faced mobster. One thing, though, when Juno and Rome were in the same room was the air crackled with sexual charge so it wasn't surprising that they soon gave in to their chemistry.
Feelings, though, snuck up on them. The intriguing part for me, watching from the outside, was seeing how they would manage to make their relationship work within their outlaw lives. Also, danger surrounding Rome and the biker club, and that spiced things up further.
Admittedly, the romance Juno and Rome maybe wasn't squeeze your heart-worthy, but I felt the love between them. Considering their lines of work, their romance wasn't typical in the least, but they had a solid connection. Mired in violence and crime, yes, but strong and with some cute, lovey-dovey moments which I adored seeing.
This was an awesome addition to the series and I can't wait to see what happens next.
Rome is sexy, dangerous is an enforcer for the mob is very attracted to Juno the moment he meet him. Juno is fun, a tattoo artist is a Salvation King and he wants Rome the first time he sees him. They both know they can't be with each other but can't keep away. Once these two get together they are tearing up the pages and are hot together. Even though it's not logical, they fall in love and would do anything for each other despite their bosses. Their romance is sweet, romantic, sexy, action-packed, very intense moments and once I start reading it I couldn't put it down. I love seeing the previous characters from the previous books and I'm looking forward to the next book.
Marco and Juno's story was awesome! I loved the idea for both characters and how well the book complements the whole series! Another great pair of characters and a rivetting emotional journey. Great read!
I really enjoyed reading this series. And, I can't believe that this might be it for them. There has to be more stories involving the Salvation Kings MC. It has been one adventurous journey following them. And, I'm looking to reading more.
...fighting for dominance. Well done and I so appreciate a book that is technically well-written without spelling or grammatical errors. You’ve made me a fan.
Juno is part of the Kings group he is also really popular with the girls but he is bi,,but when he meets Rome a bodyguard for the cartel well they make an explosive sex leads to love but with alot of bumps in the road ,another great book i read this book for this author for my honest opinion
I have read all these book. And I can't help but love them. Ever one is different and so very good From the first book to this book. They keep you on edge and in the story. They also get better and better. I can't wait to see what's next..
I was hesitant to read this because there are very few mob love stories that I like but I really loved this story. It took me several chapters into this book before I really warmed to Juno as a character I loved him and Rome as a couple from the minute the two of them got together. I also really enjoyed reading about characters from past books, it made this story all the sweeter. I hope the series continues, I love these books.
