OMG. This book was amazing and once I started I had a very hard time stopping and putting it down to go to work. It moves along at a pace which is neither too fast nor too slow which makes for the perfect speed to keep you reading comfortably. You will fall in love with these characters and no matter what they need to do you want to be there for them. The story will grab you and keep you reading and not let you go until the very last page is read. This is such an amazing read that I had to to reread it.

Tatiana and one of her mates find themselves entangled in the clutches of spider demons - succumbing to or teetering on the edge of possession. A shiver-inducing choice of demons, indeed 🤢🕷️.
It’s all very emotional and messy!
Their journey takes them from Alaska to Texas, in pursuit of a mystical demon-genie🧞‍♀️, then to Mexico because of the genie, and finally culminates in the mysterious landscape of Romania and the demonic forest. It’s all over the place!
Very thrilling and dramatic!

OMG where do I begin!!! This book was great! Lets try not to spoil anything but sweet Jesus, seeing all of them suffer so much with what was happening to Tatiana and Dimitri was hard, but what was happening between Tatiana and Dejan was breaking my heart in tiny pieces!! It was great to see Magnus again but I wanted to hi5 him with a chair in the face. And Phoenix?? Can´t wait to read what awaits her. This is a character that could grow in so many ways in the next books and she has a lot to offer to the story. There where many things resolved in this books but new questions opened: What the h... happened to Jovan??? How did that happened to him??? What is going to happen with Phoenix mom?? Hats off Tara!! This book might be the best in the series!!

After finishing book 6 in this series, book 7 was a much anticipated read and Tara did not disappoint! As always, Tara manages to capture her audience with her well versed storytelling as we get to read what had really changed for Dimitri and Tatiana. After finally conceding that all was not well with them, Tatiana and Dimitri are in a race with time to rid themselves of their unwanted guests. Only with the help of a Djinn would that even be remotely possible, but where to find one? And would the Djinn help or try to trick them? As Tatiana, Dimitri and her mates scramble to fulfill the Djinn's request, they find themselves in a dire situation where they barely manage to escape alive. Yet their troubles are not over, they must once more face the dreaded dark forest and all the unimaginable creatures within, whilst trying to hold on to their bond and their minds. Who can they trust? There are hidden agendas and secrets that unravel as the story progresses. Both the Djinn and Phoenix are wonderful characters added into this story and brings a new element into it, as well as reiterating that love can make one desperate and willing to do anything. It's a story of desperation, of love and passion, of understanding and family ties, that makes this series so utterly readable! Enjoyed every second! Looking forward to the next chapter in this awesome series

Every book in this series I have said is the best yet so obviously this series just gets better with each book but Defending is definitely the best in the series by far! From the very start you are drawn into the story, hook, line and sinker and once started you will definitely not be able to put it down! There’s shifters and demons, djinn and magic, mystery and intrigue, hatred and love, heartache and grief but also hope and some very hot and steamy scenes! There’s surprises along the way and a few twists and Tatiana and her mates and her family face danger every step of the journey but boy what a journey it is!

Tara West has out done herself with this series but this is the best one yet!!

You know those book's that you just CAN NOT put down?Well that's how i felf about this whole series. Then the countdown until the next one is released si you can finally find out what happens next. Well after the wait i can truly say it was so worth it! We get to spend some time with some old friends from previous books,we meet yet another magical lone wolf but she is part Demon with 100% wolf heart, a wicked djinn that claims to be the creator of all shifters and of course you get to see what happens between Tatiana and her Mates. After leaving the Hoia Baciu Tatiana and Dimitri no longer feel safe in Romania so they along with her other mate's decide to return to Tatiana's pack in Alaska for a fresh start. But Tatiana and Dimitri did not leave the Hoia Baciu alone. When they were bitten by the Spider demon wearing Dimitri's mother's face it also allowed the demon and her mate to enter their body's and mind attempting to take over. Now to be free of the Demons before they take over completely they must find the Djinns lamp, make a deal with her that wont end with them dead or cursed, return to the Hoia Baciu to have the Spider's removed all before the full moon! Because if Morana completes the process Tatiana's father and brother will have no choice but to kill her and her mates because they will not allow anyone to kill her without a fight no matter what the reason is. Plus Tatiana must resist having sex with her Mates at all costs because that speeds up the process for Morana to completely change her into a giant Black Widow so much for having some type of stress release! I was totally BLOWN AWAY! This may be by far my favorite Paranormal RH series. I read this within a 24 hour period and that was simply because I did not want to put it down. When I did decide to take a break I shut it off then 2 minutes picked it back up as I needed to know what happened next. This may be the most action packed and stressful book in all the series so far.
Throughout the series we knew Tatianna as a whiney girl(my opinion) who wanted to live in Alaska and not a sheep farm and wanted her own bathroom. She started to become a stronger woman in Fated for her Wolves but she SHINED bright and stood STRONG in Defending her Wolves. I was so proud of her courage! I just kept thinking, can’t Tatiana and Dimitri catch a break. And Constantine – man did I swoon over him, he never stopped loving and taking care of his mate no matter what was happening to her.
Tara did an AMAZING job continuing this series. It sucks you in until the very end. And once again Tara leaves you wanting more.

I have been excited to read this book since Fated for Her Wolves came out, and this book didn't disappoint! I don't know how Tara does it but each book contains more action and adventure than the previous one. There were so many twists and turns in this book that I simply couldn't put it down. I ended up reading the entire book in one sitting. One of the things that I liked most about this book was being able to see the growth in Tatiana's relationship with her mates. They were there for each other when thinks got difficult. I loved being able to see the character growth in Tatiana and her mates throughout this series. I am so excited for the next book! We were introduced to some new characters in this book, and I look forward to reading more about them in the next book. This book is my favorite one in the series so far!

Holy-freaking-Moly!! This series has been one of my all time favorites and Tara West definitely does not disappoint with this book! We continue with Tatiana and her mates while they battle the demons that they brought back from the forest. They have to get help from a Djinn but can they really trust them? It’s a battle of love and desperation to save Tatiana and Dimitri from the awful spider demons. The clock is ticking! I sat and read this book from start to finish without stopping. It sucked me in completely and it felt like I was there along side the characters as they battled for their lives. Brilliant!! Highly recommended!! 💜🖤

Great book

I love the Amaroki wolves and all their stories. This is the story of Tatiana and her mates, Dejan, Constantine, Andrei, and Dimitri and their journey to rid Dimitri and Tatiana of the demons that are trying to take them over after they were lost in the haunted forest in Romania. Their journey takes them from their home in Alaska to Texas, Mexico, Columbia and Romania before returning home to Alaska. And reuniting us with their family in Texas and Romania.
Can't wait for the next book in this series.

Oh My!!! Tara keeps on giving us good stories with suspense, love, sexy bits, and a bit of snark and humour. It's great to see everyone come together to solve issues, no matter what individuals are dealing with themselves. But they also figure out that if they let people know what they're dealing with, they might just find a solution. And as well there is the tweaking of noses for the troublemakers. We shall see if that puts them in their place and makes them grow up and think about more than themselves.

Back on track with the strong, virile adult shifter males…for the most part. I can’t fault Dejan for his actions. He’s the gamma and was traumatized. So, he just needed time to come to terms with all that had happened and what he’d been through. Tatiana may have had worse issues, but his were valid also. I still think Magnus is an overgrown, immature teen though. I still can’t reconcile that he’s supposed to be a big, tough alpha protector. Overall, this story was great, and puts the series back on top.

This book like all the rest I'm this series packs a punch. It takes you on a crazy ride filled with so many twists and turns. To leave you needing Tatiana and Dimitri to be ok.
We get to read this book from several pov's which helps build the story on all sides. Showing how they all feel and want to protect Tatiana. When they have to find the djinn that's when things get even more crazy.
But with the ending we get after everything you go through in the book, it's worth it. Can't wait to see what's next.

Absolutely divine! I fell in love with this series from book number one! Every additional book just makes it harder to put them down. The characters are so realistic that this reader felt as if reading about old friends and catching up on their lives! The interactions between characters are completely spine tingling! Tatiana and her Wolves add an extra level to this series. I just can't wait to see what will be next!

Gosh I can’t wait to read Phoenix’s story, at least I’m hoping she gets one eventually. She is so precious.

Also the side story at the end makes me hope we get a time jump at somepoint and get to see amaras kids as adults… those kids are POWERFUL lol their future mate would be the most protected woman on the planet lmao

After a years-long hiatus following the first three books, I decided to return to Tara West's captivating world—and I was instantly hooked all over again. I completely binge-read the rest of the 11-book series and fell back in love with every page.

I am utterly in awe of Tara West’s storytelling prowess. Her plotting is flawless; each book seamlessly piggybacks off the previous one, continually ramping up the action and emotional stakes. What truly made this series shine was the consistent presence of the main cast. Watching the characters evolve, grow, and see their families expand across so many books felt incredibly special and forged a deep, lasting connection to the entire narrative. The adorably fierce female leads and the irresistible male characters—who had me positively melting—were unforgettable.

Remarkably, every book gets better than the last. You witness Tara West's writing evolve into something truly magical, and her creativity in crafting this world is astounding. Now that I’m finished, the fictional world she built is one I genuinely miss. It's that rare series you wish you could step into and live in! This book was so exciting! Tatiana and her mates had some pretty drastic demonic problems to solve and battling demons is tricky business! Between wolves, spider demons, djinn, and lots of obstacles, I think this was the best book yet in this series!

Unexpected

Wow a lot happens in this book. Tatiana and Dimitri end up possesed by a spider demon and have to get the help from a djinn to get the demons out or risk their family killing them. This book has action suspense and tones of mystery. I need more and love the world building I get with each book.

Amazing story. Tara West did an amazing job explaining the conflict the characters were having within their relationships with mates, parents and themselves with the demons using them as a host.
