Another Goid Read

I completed this in a short time. It was yet again another book I didn't want to quit reading or listening to. While I am saddened and angry for what so many people, including Sarah have endured at the hands of those who were supposed to love and protect them most, I'm happy she survived and uses her history to help others. Her books of survival have inspired and helped so very many people, myself included. I admire Sarah for her endurance and strength, as well as her desire to help people and her love for her fellow humans. I relate well to Sarah, I wasn't abused in my home, however, like Sarah, I and my sister were bullied - relentlessly and mercilessly - to the point that I even feared walking to the school bus and the home. The though of gym class and changing or even going to the ladies room terrified me because some girls were always trying to start fights or crack comments about my body.

Like Sarah, I'm also a recovering Anorexic. I too struggle with this demon. While I'm sad to have no more of her books to read, I'm glad I got to meet her through her books. It takes a lot of courage to open up and share your story. I relate to her feelings of fear, insecurity, loneliness, etc. Some days I could swear I was born in the wrong decade, like I'm an older person/soul inside a younger body. I don't know if that makes since to those if you reading. I have never felt I fit into any particular group or mold, and have always felt socially awkward. I'm glad I read Sarah's book, they helped me in many ways.

Too much repetition and way too many editing errors. When she talked about new things and stuck to the actual story it was good. Was glad to know she did see her HS English teacher again.
