Mack Felle likes his life up on his mountain just fine. A life spent running from his past landed him in Driftwood, Georgia and he never wants to leave. He doesn't need bright lights or the big city to keep him happy. He likes the wide open spaces of being out in the middle of nowhere. A rare trip to town brings him face to face with the first thing to make him question his lonely life.
Mollie Winters came to Driftwood to take a chance on herself. A big city girl who was born and bred in a backwoods town, she thinks she found the best of both worlds here. Mack is all brute and beard but she can't help how badly she wants him. They wind up stuck in his cabin during a storm and she wonders if she'll ever want to leave his mountain mancave.
Born and raised in the Midwest, reading and writing have always been Dee's passion. Short stories became long stories that finally, became books. While playing grownup during the day, meaning working a job, Dee wrote her first book. When not reading or writing, which leaves less time than she's proud of, Dee loves spending her time with her four furbabies, her husband and lots of movies nights.
A solid 3.8 stars for this novella. If you're looking for a short, sexy, insta-love story then this one is for you. I love Dee's writing style and she knows how to keep things very spicy so I got through this one in no time. Molly was not my favourite heroine but I did love her sass which helped smooth over my ruffled feathers. Mack is just too cute, I did enjoy him and how he was suprisingly easy to understand emotionally for a male lead so that made me very happy. Super happy with the epilogue and a HEA is always a win. Completely stand alone but other stories in the series. This is my honest and unbiased review.
Holy smokes is that hot! Mack practically kidnaps Mollie off the street, not that she protests even once. They experience a severe case of insta-lust and take advantage of the situation. They repeatedly revisit the moment they met days earlier... a few too many times, in my opinion. Otherwise, be prepared for hot monkey loving again and again and again and... I think you get the idea. 😘 I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
3.7 this is an insa-love romance that I felt had a good beginning that pulled me in to Mack and Mollie’s story but jumped into the sexual side of things too fast. I was pleasantly surprised to get more background on Mack from Mollie’s pov as the chapters went on. The chapter where a bit of excitement happened between these two had me reading as fast as my eyes could move because I wanted to see what would happen next. Over all this was an enjoyable read with a HEA. A standalone that brings two characters full circle.
Mack spent fifteen years in the Marines before seeking peace and quiet near Driftwood in the Appalachian Mountains. He ended up buying several hundred acres in the mountains and a logging company to run. One day near Christmas, he had shut down logging because of weather conditions, but he knew a big storm was coming in, so he went into town for supplies. When he got there, a woman, Mollie was working on a new store that would be opening soon. She came out on the street and yelled a greeting to him. He yelled back to her that she needed to get home, where it was safe as there was a storm on the way. Mack went on to finish his shopping, and when he came out of the store she was there to help him load his supplies. He once again told her in a not to a polite way she needed to get home where it was safe from the incoming snow storm. Mollie paid him no attention, but she did give smart lip back. Where in return Mack responded that he would take her home to her house or she could just come home with him. The choice was her's, but she would be going to shelter now. Jack then proceeded to put her over his shoulder to then put her in his Jeep, buckle her in and head off up the mountain, since she would not reveal where lived. She did not seem to be very unhappy when she end up snowed in with a lumberjack, but then again they may have been strangers, but they did not feel like stranger. It was like they had always known each other. They belonged together, but they still had their misunderstandings. It was nice holiday read.

Mack lives alone in a cabin on the mountain and sees on the distant horizon that a huge snowstorm is coming. He heads out to town to stock up on supplies before the storm. As he drives through town, he sees a new shop, Nourished by Nature, and he meets Mollie Winters. She is happy and vibrant, and she makes him want to smile for no reason. She is so sassy when he calls her darlin’ and tells her to go home because of the storm.
When Mack comes back out to put his groceries in the jeep, Mollie still is making no signs of leaving. So he warns her that if she doesn’t start to head home to safety, he’s going to take her home with him. Telling him he wouldn’t dare, Mollie is surprised when Mack tosses her over his shoulder, puts her in the jeep, and takes her home with him to the mountain. She knows she is safe with him, and she could speak up at any time and he would stop. But she remains calm and quiet beside him.
The storm he predicted arrives and keeps them locked together for days as they get to know each other. Will they fall in love while the snow falls? Are they ready for their HEA?
This was a fun story – gotta love the sass that girl can toss around! They were fun together right from the start. Grab your copy and enjoy two people who don’t spend lots of time wondering – they know what they want and just make the love happen!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this cute story about Mack who lives alone on the mountain and has done for a long time, he goes to town to get supplies before a big storm comes through and he meets Mollie who is opening a new store in the town.
Mack starts talking to her, thinking that she is adorable and cute, Mack tells her to get off the street and go home but she ignores him, and he warned her that if she doesn’t go inside he’s going to take her home with him.
Mollie give him lots of sass, so Mack tosses her over his shoulder and takes her home with him to the mountain. The storm comes in they are locked together for three days where they grow close together and start their own kind of fire. They fall in love and hopefully live happily ever after.

Dee Ellis' contribution to the wonderful multi-author Mountain Man Holiday series, Mountain Mancave, is a beautiful and steamy Christmas instalove romance. Mack is an ex-Marine lumberjack/logging company owner who has isolated himself in a mountain cabin just outside of small-town Driftwood. Mollie has moved to the town to open up a store after years in the big city have left her jaded. Mack and Mollie's meet-cute is so fresh and fun, both feeling a strange, chemical reaction when they first lay eyes upon one another. Mack is gruff, Mollie sassy, and together they are incredibly dynamic and sexy. Trapped together in Mack's cabin after a powerful winter storm just before Christmas, they discover that life is often what happens when you're making other plans.

3.5 Stars This is a short, fast paced sexy insta-love novella featuring a sexy, sweet and I found adorable, mountain man named Mack living a preferred lonely life until Mollie comes along. Mollie is an independent woman trying to open a risky business in the mountain town of Driftwood, where the story takes place. These two meet immediately and before you can blink, they’re already heating up the pages. I thought the sexy times happened a bit too quickly and I wasn’t a fan of Mollie. It’s just my personal opinion but I thought she was a bit abrasive and cocky for my tastes. But the two of them together was fun to watch. And before I knew it, I as turning the last page. If you love fast paced, Insta love stories, set in small towns, you’ll enjoy this little gem.
This is my honest and unbiased review, and I thank you for taking the time to read it.
Mack is happy with his solitary life on the mountain. When a storm is about to come in he heads to town for supplies. What he didn’t expect was to meet and fall for the beautiful new comer Mollie! Mollie has decided to start over in a small town and is about to open a shop, but the towns people are not very welcoming! That is until gorgeous mountain man Mack sees her and tells her to get home before the storm hits! She never expected him to throw her in his Jeep and bring her to his cabin! Mack knows she is his, now he just has to show her that they belong together! Great book that I would highly recommend!

4.5 Stars I thought that this was a great book. Mack and Mollie were amazing. I loved the connection and chemistry between Mack and Mollie. These two found their other halves when they weren't even looking; they were content with their lives. I really enjoyed how sassy Mollie was and how Mack embraced her sassiness. Mack is a "brute" alpha that will make you swoon. These two have some drama and some things to work through but now worries, they get a really sweet HEA. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and I would recommend this book and Ms. Dee as a great author!

Mack has a quiet and solitary life on the mountain. One day in town as he is picking up supplies for the coming storm he sees Molly who just opened a business and warns her to go home. He sees she is still there and is making no effort to leave he picks her up and takes her home. That is when the storm starts. They are on lockdown and get to know each other. This is a wonderful story. Molly and Mack are great together and this is just a great story. It is warm and wonderful. It is a shortish story but filled with romance. Loved it.

This quick mountain man read was rather fantastic. The banter between the two characters was great and really made the story stand out in my opinion. The way the two would go against each other really made me smile and laugh. The plot was rushed but it was done in a way that made it feel natural. I enjoyed the work quite a bit.
I give this a five out of five stars. The plot was well written and the characters were memorable and made me smile. I would love to see an expansion on the rest of the main male character’s crew.

Mack loves living in his cabin on the mountain. He looks out one day and sees that a snowstorm is coming his way. He goes to town to stock up on supplies and meets Mollie. She's a happy vivacious woman and makes him smile. He also loves her sass and tells her to head home because of the story. Mollie just happens to ignore Mac and his warning and he tosses her over his shoulder, puts her in his jeep and takes her up the mountain. They get caught in his cabin for days. They have fun together and you really like the sass that Mollie has. They know what they want and they make sure the love happens. Wow, this story is so good. You can literally feel the connection and chemistry between the characters. I love how well they fit each other and fell in love. I liked how Mollie has a fiery spirit that contrasts with Mack who prefer the solitude of living in the mountains. It's amazing how one storm and a hot mountain man can change your whole life and capture your heart as you spend time with him. Great story to read although I wish for more bonus epilogues about Mack having a married life with Mollie years after.
This is a sweet and steamy holiday romance, Mack and Mollie fell for each other over a smile, Mack packs up his groceries and the sassy new lady in town and makes his way up the mountain to his cabin aka mancave... Mack and Mollie have an instant connection with chemistry that sizzles. I loved the banter between them. Wonderfully entertaining story.
She is determined to make it on her own, he prefers a solidary life. Neither was expecting what the storm blew in. Will they find a common ground?
Have to say, for a tough mountain man, I loved how he admitted what he felt and wanted to her and was determined to prove that he loved her independent, sassy side. I didn't blame her for not wanting to give up her goals, but loved how she adjusted them. Cute, steamy read!

This short story is part of the Mountain Man Holiday series by the Flirt Club authors. There is nothing better than a petite, sassy heroine and a tall, burly mountain man hero to make a great story. This short story fits the bill perfectly with Mack and Mollies story. A great holiday read with a steamy journey to a HEA. Enjoy!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book by Dee Ellis. Mack lives in a cabin high up in the mountains and meets Molly on one of his rare trips to town. Something about her has him rethinking his solitary life and he decides he wants more. Specifically with her. A love at first sight story with a hero that decides he wants more with the sassy woman who captures his heart. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I've read several books written by Dee Ellis; she has done a great job at writing a good short story; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books.

This is a short, sweet and sexy holiday romance. So it's a quick read that is somewhat fast paced. Mack and Mollie are an interesting match. He comes into town to get supplies before the storm and sees Mollie. They first interaction is interesting. He threatens her and ends up acting like a sexy Neanderthal and taking her back to his place to weather the storm. The attraction between them is instant and the attraction off the charts. The dialogue is fun as well.
Mack is a mountain man who loves being alone and Mollie is the new store owner in town. When Mack headed to town to get supplies for the upcoming snowstorm he meets Mollie. I loved how Mack after warning Mollie about the storm decides to take her to his cabin because she didn't close up her store. From the crazy fun banter to their off the charts chemistry this is an entertaining read. This is a great addition to the series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
Mack lives in the mountains but while in town meets Mollie who just moved to Driftwood needing a break from city life. They have mutual instant attraction and feel a connection. A storm is about to hit so he takes her home so they are stuck together which gives them time to get to know each other. How long before they act on their chemistry?

It’s a nice story, but the thing about them being strangers and he basically kidnapping her and took her to his man cave became repetitive. But what I loved most is the epilogue, the gifts they prepared fir the other, it was meaningful.

Loved the sassy character of Mollie and the self assuredness of Mack. I liked how the banter was great foreplay for this by chance couple. The storyline was fun with a great setting of a winter storm to give this couple the chance they needed to open up and explore all the possibilities they could have a life together.

Mack and Mollie meet and sparks fly. The chemistry and pull they feel is immediate and palpable. I love that Mollie speaks her mind however but Mack's cavemen ways had me blushing. I was confused at first as to why Mollie just let him take her but I guess if you consider the attraction, it's not as surprising. It's short, steamy, and sweet.
Sweet, short and steamy are just a few words that describe this enjoyable romance. A perfect read for those times you just need to escape every day life for a small bit of time. The characters are fun, engaging and easy to get to know. The chemistry between the main characters is undeniable and realistic.
