A fascinating little collection of myths, accounts, and short stories. I wouldn't describe it as "can't put it down," but I would say it's a must read if you want to know more about the Windigo or about the myths of the people from the north woods.

A compilation of stories, articles, journal entries, etc. regarding the myth of the windigo. Your enjoyment of this book hinges on how interesting you find the myth. I find the windigo to be one of the more fascinating and terrifying mythical monsters, so I loved it.

Super cool collection of stories about the Windigo. Poems, scholarly papers, first hand accounts, stories told around the campfire... as an added bonus there were some great illustrations of the monster in the middle of the book. I love the book.
