Landon is a former Navy Medic who couldn’t save his childhood friend while they were in the service and he is still haunted by that event. He meets Katie at a wedding and they have an instant attraction but he doesn’t remember her from a relationship when they were younger and he had hurt her when they broke up. Katie is a now a scientist who has been receiving threatening emails at work but she and Landon hook up the night of the wedding. Will their pasts return to haunt them?
I enjoyed this short story but really dislike cliffhangers when you have no ending. It’s a good story but be warned that there is more to come of this story.

This is a second chance military romance. Although this is a short story, it certainly packs lots of punch. Landon is a former Navy Medic. He is still haunted by the fact that he wasn't able to save his childhood friend. He returns to his hometown for his cousin's wedding and meets Katie. Landon doesn't remember that he knows Katie from back in high school and that he broke her heart. Despite that, they are instantly attracted to each other. What great chemistry between the two! There is some danger and suspense as well and the story ends in a cliffhanger. Looking forward to book 2!

Great story, I mean I really loved it. I’m not one for chapter books, this has me changing my mind. The way the characters respond to each other, is very hot. I’m really looking forward to finding out if two people, each dealing with their own kind of hell can make a go of it, although I’m pretty sure it’ll have a HEA. ;). This is a short story, so great to read while fixing dinner, waiting for the cookies to come out of the oven and cool, or when you need some ‘me’ time. I received a copy an ARC copy in exchange for my honest opinion.

I was very fortunate to have received a ARC copy of Seduced for review .This is a second chance romance which happens to be one of my very favorite tropes . Seduced is a short but addictive Romance , full of all the feels . So much chemistry between Landon and Kate , what a well written book full of angst , a bit of suspense , and everything you could want in a book . I could not put it down from the very first chapter . I absolutely loved this book , and highly recommend ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I'm not a fan of cliffhangers. But I love military romances. This is a short, steamy romance with a little suspense added in.

Straight away I could tell this is the beginning of another fab series from Kayla. Katie is reunited with her High School ex Landon at her best friend’s wedding. There is an instant spark between the two of them that is palpable. The sex is hot but fate has other plans. I was left with wanting more. Hurry up part 2!!

I received this book free and I am voluntarily leaving a review. Landon and Katie had me captivated from the beginning. Their chemistry is off the charts and they have great sex but Katie's anger stops them going any further. I lol but it would be heart breaking if that was to happen to anyone. Then rhe author throws in some danger at the very end; I cant wait to read bk 2!!!

What a way to start a series. Katie and Landon had a previous relationship and it ended badly. They meet again at her best friends wedding. I Can’t wait for the next book to continue their story.

Great start to this book. Quite intriguing as they both have issues, looking forward to finding out more. What was Landon like at high school if he can’t remember Kate? Oops. I must admit their chemistry was on fire and need to know how they’ll overcome the awkwardness of the morning after! They’re’s more to this book and I shall enjoy finding out. I have read quite a few of Kaylas books in the past and I’m never disappointed. I read this arc in exchange for an honest review.

This books characters are definitely interesting and relatable. I highly recommend this book. The storyline in this book will definitely captivate you and leave you wanting more. It is a short read but it is part of a continuing series. What happens when the truth comes out on how Katie knows Landon?
