I have read the series from Book One (Dark Stranger) through book 46! This is the best paranormal romance series I have ever read. Even better than the Shade series by B. Forrest! I read them all since the beginning of the summer till Oct 27 2021

I'm beginning to love these books. Don't like the current POV character? It'll switch. Very good in keeping the story going, and keeping it exciting.
Bhathian and Eva, it was a second chance romance, but there wasn't much conflict other than Eva not wanting to give up her independence. She even goes so far as asking Bhathian to move in, but won't let him pay half the rent? Why not? That's just silly to me.
We get a glimpse into Tessa and Jackson, though, and I am more interested in that and seeing what develops there. And what happens with Eva's people And Robert. And Carol.
Carol is quickly becoming one of my favorite characters. With Syssi dogging her because "she does dregs" Uh, do you know what that woman went through?
Needless to say, I got book fourteen through seventeen to find out what happens with these guys.

Romantic fantasy
This is the story of Eva and Bhathian. Bhathian, Andrew and Nathalie had failed to find Eva before the wedding but kept looking. When he failed to find her in Brazil, Bhathian left a letter with the nuns as a last resort. The first book is really Eva's story and finds her making contact with her daughter and ex lover. They come together as a family in book two as Andrew and Nathalie celebrate their daughter's birth. The final book culminates in them reuniting as mates. Along the way, the stories of the rest of the clan continue to move forward and new characters are introduced.

Lovely conclusion
I don't know if the ending was as abrupt as it felt since I was juggling a few things at once. Still, it was lovely and answered at least one question regarding Syssi's visions. I absolutely adore Tessa and Jackson and how Lucas keeps crossing over stories and occasionally bringing back the other couples so we can keep in touch.

I enjoy the continuation of characters and the addition of new ones. Way to much detailed intimacy scenes. We get it. But I suppose many people enjoy the repeat. Guess I am not one of them. Otherwise the storyline is interesting enough to continue to read the remainder of the series.

I’ve completed this set and on to the next! Lucas has captured the true meaning of forever love and she makes me feel and live it.
