Helen Kara has yet again provided an invaluable and important resource for anyone either interested in using creative methods in their research or indeed have been applying them for some time. With ethics and rigour and of course creativity at the forefront of her writing, this guide is not only informative but also incredibly supportive for anyone feeling unsure about using creative methods and their value in academia, teaching or in community-facing settings.

There has never been a better time to pick up this book and join researchers that are working hard to interrogate western dominant ideas of who and what matters, and how their voices are heard and communicated.
