Not your usual dark mafia story! Pierre and Shaye have both been away from the mafia. Shaye is trying to live a normal life as an art appraiser and Pierre’s French mafia dismantled while he was in prison.

This was such a good story with a different feel to it than most mafia stories. It had fights, broken noses, shootings and various deaths, but they were for self preservation rather than getting information or settling a debt.

Pierre planned to use Shaye as a means to an end. He hadn’t counted on liking her. Shaye was originally repulsed by Pierre, but not for long and definitely not once he was shirtless. They have great chemistry even when they don’t get along.

I thought the story started a little slow because it was a different mood. Dark things happened, but it wasn’t really dark overall. It was really refreshing and entertaining to read.

Pierre plans on taking Shaye to get his revenge but soon sparks are flying between them. This a fast-paced Mafia read with loads of drama, suspense and steam. Great characters with lots of depth and emotion, intense chemistry and loads of twists and turns. I liked it.

Oh, the heat is HOT, and the physical chemistry is captivating so be careful you may just get burned all the heat coming off these pages. There were some "oh no" "oh wow" " what the what" moments and add in uncanny mishaps, and suspense the good kind that makes you keep turning the pages till last page has been turned. It is a little slow on the start but not to bad Shaye and Pierre knew each other prior to him going to prison for 10 years upon his release he wants to claim back his empire but he first he has to obtain a rare painting. Shaye is offered a job of a lifetime that she can’t refuse working as an art appraiser in France and yep she is working at the exact museum the painting Pierre needs and so the plan forms to use her to get what the wants. His mind set is he doesn’t care who he burns on the road to revenge what he didn’t count on was Shaye bring back feeling into his dead heart she pretty much jump starts it and the attraction is off the charts from the moment the two of them meet. This numbers you have manipulation, really hot and heavy between the two and so much suspense till it will have you wondering what’s next well will Pierre come to his sense or will he allow his need for revenge to take over sacrificing the one who open his eyes in so many ways. Will Shaye still want Pierre after finding out how he used her, and can these two broken people find happiness is it meant for them?

Shaye was offered the job of a life time being an art appraiser and it meant moving to France, after all she had been through a fresh start was exactly what she needed and the pay was enticing enough. Pierre spent the last 10 years in prison he had waited 10 years for revenge and to claim back his mafia empire. First he needs to get back a painting the Red Door which now resides in the King Smiths Gallery, he needs and in someone to use to get what he wants, but he doesn't plan on Shaye. Pierre knows who she is but will Shaye remember him? its been 10 years but she is the perfect in Pierre needs to become her puppet master, he just doesn't count on the growing attraction between them. a well written mafia romance, with a good engaging story line filled with desire, manipulation, suspense, hot scenes and more!

A former mob boss whos been out of jail after ten years in prison.. a former mob Princess wanted to start a new and work as a Art Appraiser in an Art Gallery..But Pierre have a big plan for Shaye to help him to get his painting comfiscated from him and his wealth ten years ago. He went to Shaye place and black mail her in gun point but Shaye instead of being afraid she taunted him instead but its not all,they found out that they have a chemistry and they attracted to each other and when Pierre told her how much the value of the painting to him and told her there is a hidden code inside the painting for his safe box for safe keeping he hides a lot of money in there before they arrested him..this is a fast paced,intriguing,steamy and with humor, twist and turn.loved it! welldone.

Interesting story line about Pierre fresh out of jail after a 10 year term, hones in on Shaye, ex mafia princess current art gallery employee. He needs her to be his puppet and get him what he needs to get his money and take the fall for him. It sounds pretty straight forward until they meet and have unexpected chemistry, add to that some growing emotions and the puppet is now a partner in crime. Lots of twists, turns and suspense to keep you totally emerged in the story and rooting for the couple. I did not find it as dark and I did love that in the end Shaye is on equal footing with Pierre. I really enjoyed the book and would absolutely recommend it.

Entertaining and a bit different

Mafia Puppet is about Pierre and Shaye. This is a Mafia story but not really dark, more mocha colored. The story does have a lot of drama, suspense, intrigue and major amounts of hot and steamy passion.
This was a good read but not quite what I was expecting as it is somewhat different from a lot Mafia trope books. I felt at the end that it was an entertaining story that I liked.

It is a mafia story in the fact they both were mafia but are not any longer with the mafia but violence will always follow. Pierre wants Shaye but more for revenge than anything else until they meet. Shaye did end up liking Pierre. These were great characters and it was a wonderful story. Bella King did a great job presenting this story. I really enjoyed this book. Will Pierre and Shaye get a happy ending?

When Pierre gets out of prison after 10 years he's got 2 things on his mind, money and women. Shaye is trying to makeover her life in Paris. She bumps into Pierre and tumbles into something she thought was behind her. The story was okay. It is not my favorite. It was short and fast-paced and entertaining, it just lacked realism for me. I received this Arc in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Shaye and Pierre. A match made in heaven.... or hell.
I really enjoyed this book, especially Pierre and the locations used in France and would happily read a series about him.
Pierre has everything totally planned out, with everyone justifiably terrified of him. Nothing will stop him getting the result he wants. Not murder, and definitely not Shaye

Ther paths cross when Pierre learns that the gallery Shaye works in has something he wants but is she willing to help him. This book was okay but it took a while for me to get into it.

What a clever plot for a story, especially a mafia one. Really enjoyable and loved the conversations Shayne and Pierre had . Who was in charge really? A super story about a painting, great characters and a well deserved ending. Recommended.

Sinceramente este libro de mafia solo tiene el titulo.
Una vez aclarado el punto debo decir que el libro no es uno de los mejores PERO tampoco es uno de los peores, ciertamente es un libro que tiene un ritmo de lectura lento así que si quieres ir directamente a la acción este no es para ti amix.
Verán hay cosas que llegan a ser un poco enfadosas más que nada la repetición de la palabra mafia, de verdad por el mero titulo ya se a lo que voy, a lo que me metí no ocupo leerlo 10 veces, dentro de los diálogos.
Hay cosas que me faltaron definitivamente, creo que la historia se centra más en los personajes principales que la historia en general puede parecer mera decoración,
hay cosas que no tenían sentido para mi como se supone que él es un jefe pero cuando salió no había nadie esperando por él, incluso tener algo de respaldo, amigos, casa, carros no sé, creo firmemente que esta historia es de esas que daban para más saben, si bien no hay misterios o enredos pudieron jugar mejor con la historia además el objetivo del personaje tiende a perderse y de hecho parte de este solo tiene como 10 paginas dentro de esta historia. que ahora que lo pienso de alguna manera funciona solo con ellos dos, uno que otro personaje y así, claramente si los contamos la cantidad de personas que se menciona puede ser menos de 50, un gran logro para un autor.
