I agree with Paula on this one. I liked the h too, but I felt a bit disconnected with the men and what was going on in their heads. Maybe having their POVs would help a lot. Sometimes they seemed so harsh.
This book had me from the first chapter to the very last sentence. I devoured this book in one sitting! The main heroine is on the autistic spectrum, although it's not stated outright. She thinks logically and statistically. She doesn't understand social etiquette enough to always be perceived correctly.
The book is written from her pov and it draws you into her world. Seeing and understanding things the way she does is astounding. This is a reverse harem novel however for me it is so much more!!
This is a definite must read! The author did a truly remarkable job writing this!!!
I picked up this book not expecting much because it was an unknown author and I was just looking for my next rh contemporary read. It was beautiful. Gigi is amazing and she deserves to feel loved. Morgan Asher and Lance are perfect for her and nurture her like she needs. The realisation that came with this book is that so many people go through life without the physical affection they crave and need. And that is heartbreaking.
Want a sexy smart read about nerds who fall in love? This one is for you!
Gigi is a nerd and some call her a freak. She's in college and they pick the students to go to a castle to study the history. Limited number can go. They board a plane, to hike miles up a mountain. They arrive and things aren't quite as they usually are. Gigi is not very good in social situations. Lance and Asher are friends but Asher is the one that likes Gigi. She has other ideas. She likes Asher, Lance and Morgan. Gigi lets them know also. What's going to happen after she tells them? Can they share? Actually a very good book.
This story surprised me. I wasn't sure I liked or understood Gigi at the beginning. But as I followed Gigi in her adventure, she evolved and grew into a stronger & happier woman. I cheered for her as the underdog who prevails in the happy ending for Gigi and her guys. Hooray!!
I enjoyed this story! Flew through it in one night! Loved the historical stuff and the imagery. Gigi was totally her own and I loved her! The romantic interest's likability could have benefited from a dual POV, because they were like a light switch, off then on. But this also could’ve been the author's intent, based on Gigi possibly not being Neurotypical.
Oh, my… At first this book had me going "Meh, I don't know about this...". But boy am I glad I kept reading. So the only reason this has a four-star rating is because of the slow start. BUT! Again, I'm someone who likes my stories a bit fast-paced. This book though… So worth the read.
3 stars because it's still somewhat an enjoyable read eve though I'm kinda meh with some of the characters. Wouldn't exactly recommend but if you're up for a quick reverse harem book then go for it.
Let me start off by saying I wanted to like this so much more than I did. In reality this is closer to a 2 or 2.5 stars for me, but I really liked the female main character. She made this feel like this kind of situation could actually happen in real life. I loved that she was not a neurotypical kind of girl and that she was very misunderstood at the beginning and didn't know how to change others' view of her. That was a very realistic portrayal to me and like that that continued throughout the book and she wasn't magically good at talking to people or anything of the sort even when everything was done. She is why this book got 3 stars from me. The love interests though were bland. Not just in a no personality way, but there was close to nothing that could tell me why she was interested in them nor they were interested in her. More than anything the blurb for this book does it a huge disservice. The blurb makes this sound like there is a big bad out there with them at the castle that puts them and their relationship in danger somehow. There's not. There is a bad person with them the entire trip and it escalates as a problem and mildly affects the group and as a group they figure out how to handle it (sorta) but that was all within the last 15% of the book. The blurb made it sound much more exciting than it was. The most exciting on page portions were the few spicy scenes (which i gave 2.5/5 on the spice scale) and watching the MC try to figure out how to handle certain social situations. Do I recommend this? I don't know. It's not awful, but it's not one I would seek and look for either. It is very quick though so that and the atypical FMC might make it worth it for someone.
I didn’t mind this work too much, I found it enjoyable and was hard to put down until I finished it. It seems there was a previous book but they could be read as standalone. The character was definitely unique and her perception of the world around her was a bit of an eye opener and allowed me to reassess how some else could see the world differently. I’m sure there was a way her mind worked that made her different from those around her, but at the same time I could also see how her train of thought worked because mine can jump around at times too. I found it really fascinating. The plot was good and all the characters were great, the side characters were a great addition, helping the plot move along. I was also quite pleased with the ending of the story. I look forward to more by this author.
I give this five out of five stars. It blew my mind a bit, reading from the female’s point of view that I found it easy to connect with her emotions. I enjoyed this a lot.

Gigi is thrilled to be going on the trip of a lifetime, but when she sees the other student names on the list for Asher, Lance & Melissa, her excitement is subdued as she knows they only see her as what the rest of campus does, a nerdy freak. None of the students going on the trip will remain untouched and as the relationship shifts between all of them, Gigi will come to find her inner strength when she is pushed to the limits again and again. Asher and Lance come to embrace being with Gigi, even as she longs for her tutor Morgan to break his professional boundaries and join them. Gigi never imagined she would rescue Melissa, but when she saves her from the professor’s dirty clutches, she is not alone in her fight to avenge Melissa as Asher, Lance and Morgan all take a stand with her. But once they get back to the college, can their new found relationships hold up and will Gigi ever get Morgan to join in their passion?

Loved this story. Gigi is great. It seems she never opened her mouth that she didn't stick her foot in it! It is nice to see a socially awkward girl take control of her life and get the guy, er, guys. I loved the setting, I mean who can resist a Welsh castle that you have to hike to? Ok, just about everyone, lol. But it was a great setting. Throw in three hot guys and a professor who should have been shoved into a crevasse, and you have a great story waiting to happen. You will love Asher, Lance, and Morgan. (Even Melissa will grow on you.)
I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.
I loved this book so much I was disappointed when it was over, because I could have read on and on forever about Gigi and her guys, Asher, Lance and Morgan. Great storytelling!
Gigi is different (she’s called "Freaky" Gigi) but is actually a sweet and caring girl when you get to know her. I loved all characters (except for Walsh!) and the character development, especially of Gigi.
This is a fantastic read and definitely recommended!
I received an arc of this book and this is my voluntary and honest opinion.
Gigi is on the trip of a life time to a castle where she can sleep in the beds of historical figures and read ancient texts as a history buff its a dream come true, but shes not alone on the trip. as 6 students where chosen for the trip. but its Asher, Lance and Morgan she has to contend with, especially when their trip is extended due to the weather. well written nicely paced with sass, banter, desires and a high school romance.

What a refreshing change.....i absolutely loved Gigi and her honesty! It was so nice to see a different type of heroine who not only gets one guy.....but three!! This was a well written and well paced, slow burn romance. I loved all the characters and how the story developed. I also enjoyed the History aspect of the story as it was based in a castle, this made it feel a lot more romantic. Cant wait to read more from this author!!
I received an ARC from the author and this is my honest review.
I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. Gigi is having the trip of a lifetime in more ways than one. Staying in the castle was a dream but became a crazy fantasy when you throw in Asher, Lance and Morgan. They are trapped due to weather which creates the perfect backdrop for their story. Gigi is hilarious and you cannot help but laugh at times. I thought the book was well written. The characters had a lot of chemistry between them.

I can talk about the storyline and the characters and the atmosphere but what really blew me away was our heroine.
Kayla has given use a beautiful neurodiverse heroine in Gigi. Gigi is different and that's all there is to it. There are no drawn-out explanations of her differences in an attempt to justify them. She is who she is. And that was so refreshing and breathtaking to experience.
This book was pretty hot. Gigi and her guys (Lance, Asher and Morgan) had quite the chemistry together. I think the thing I like best about this book is that Gigi is who she is, and doesn't sugarcoat it at all. This story was intense, fun and very entertaining to read.

5/5 I fucking love Gigi. she is blunt and struggles with social interactions. and I can relate to a lot of her struggles. It is nice to see a main girl who struggles so much but is yet so much of a badass. side note: does Morgan not have a last name? like I can't find it soooo......
